I came to this shop based on good reviews, but my experience was extremely disappointing. I had…read morejust gotten my brakes, rotors, and calipers replaced elsewhere, but the issue with my car persisted. This shop insisted I needed the same repairs again, despite me telling them it had already been done a week prior. I trusted their recommendation and paid over $1,000, yet the problem remained. After returning, they claimed a new $200+ issue was the cause, and later said it was another $800 problem. At that point, I had paid for two diagnostics (they did do the third one for free) and still had no resolution. I felt dismissed and ignored when I expressed concerns, and the service felt more profit driven than customer focused. Honda later confirmed the original repair should have addressed the issue and that this shop should have made it right at no extra cost. I agree. I was left without a working car for months and felt completely let down. I considered legal action but chose not to pursue it. In short: poor service, lack of accountability, and unresolved issues. I would not recommend this shop

Antonio is great to work with, super friendly, does very professional work while being punctual & he gives fair pricing. What more can one ask from their mechanic.

No longer a reputable shop! My family has had our vehicles serviced by Ash Street Service Center,…read morewhich is still owned by Mr. Durwood Kennedy, since 1976 (Mr. Kennedy does not seem to be involved with the operation of the shop any longer) . No more, though, for numerous reasons (based on work that I have had done over the last few months): A. Cooling System: The "mechanics" used incorrect antifreeze in my girlfriend's Jeep Liberty (needs G-05, which is clear; the shop used the green antifreeze, even after I instructed them not to). I ended up performing the drain-and-flush myself. B. Transmission flush: The "mechanics" did not fill the transmission fluid to the proper level; too much in the Jeep Liberty, and not enough in my everyday car (luckily, I caught their error before I left their shop, as I provided the proper fluid and quantity. A 'left over' of two quarts of transmission fluid raised a huge red flag. The shop did not follow the proper transmission refill procedure, which I had to show them). I am therefore quite suspicious, too, that they did not perform the two prior transmission flushes for which I provided the requisite special lubricant (5 quarts at $17.95 per quart) and paid for service. C. Brake fluid replacement/flush: I recently discovered - when I performed the maintenance myself - the shop did not perform the previous maintenance (brake fluid flush) for which I paid and even provided the brake fluid. D. When repairing a cross threatened stud, the shop broke another one. I know, we all make mistakes, but I was charged for the repair of both studs! E. I recently inquired about rear brake replacement. The head "mechanic" told me the brake pads had about 40% wear life remaining, and that I should replace the brake pads "in the next week or two." The wear life on the back breaks (monitored by the vehicle) read 17,000 miles until the rear breaks will require servicing. While the prices the shop charges are reasonable and the shop may be fine for general repairs (e.g., flat tires and the like); be very leery, proper maintenance, correct fluids, and an honest recommendation of work that should be performed are certainly not their forte.
