I went in for a flat tire repair and was told it was fixed with a patch. Not long after, I began losing air again. Due to their limited hours and my work schedule, I couldn't bring it back right away. I took it to Sam's Club, where their tech informed me the rim was actually bent. I returned to Precision Tune, and the manager admitted they had bent the rim and said they'd replace it. It took two weeks, during which I had to rely on a damaged rim that luckily held up, though I did purchase a new tire from Sam's in the meantime. When I came back for the replacement rim appointment, they installed it, then casually told me it wasn't an exact fit but the lug nuts were "holding it on." When I drove off, I noticed a 2-3 inch gap between the hubcap and the rim, along with a noise while driving. I immediately returned. They admitted it still wasn't the right rim, removed the hubcap, and said they'd "try to find one that fits" and call me. This entire experience has been frustrating and unacceptable. They damaged my original rim, made me wait two weeks, and then tried to pass off a poorly fitting replacement. I do not recommend this business. read more

I took my vehicle to Precision Tune for a oil change and tires rotation. Had a coupon for $57. Got the oil change but they couldn't do my rotation cause my lug nuts was cross thread he says. The guy at the register said I had to still pay for the oil change and rotation cause that's what coupon says. If I didn't get the rotation why should I have to pay for something that didn't get done. He didn't even try to help me with anything about another coupon. Basically we have no other coupon that can help you with this matter. I really don't think that was good customer service. You do what you can to help the customer I thought. Pretty good service. Even though I went in right 20 min before they closed he welcomed me and didn't turn me away. Went in just for an oil change and the guy offered to check why my engine light was on even tho I already knew why. Guess it's routine for them to do an inspection. The guy was funny and helpful. A lil sarcastic and I get why some might not like it, but I don't take life that seriously and welcome sarcastic humor, because i can dish it right back. :) I'll likely return for my next oil change read more

I will never take my vehicles back there again..took it there for one easy fix..money wasted on things they was saying needed fixing in order to fix my 1 problem and still not fix..they created more problems and wanted me to pay them over $4,000..had it towed to another place, nowhere near the problems they claimed..2 weeks without my car and $700 wasted for them to still not fix my problem..NOPE will never go back..the staff I talked to was nice..but I'm good with not going back to them! No complaints about the work. They are RIGHT NEXT DOOR to valvoline so I came here completely by accident. The AC is a little crappy, I'm literally sweating through my uniform just sitting here. It makes me even more bitter that I'm not next door at valvoline getting this service done while I sit comfortably in my well-AC'd car. Gave 4 stars bc the guy at the counter (maybe Latino with bluish eyes) was extremely courteous, friendly and polite. Made me feel like I could trust this place in the future. read more

The service here is always great for me. If I ever come and there's many people ahead of me, the staff is willing to allow me to come back within a few hours to be in line first. The service is quick and efficient. They allow you to be able to watch TV and grab coffee while you wait. I have never had a bad experience here and have been coming to this location for a while. I don't often trust many locations for my car services, as I can be a picky person, but Precision of Goldsboro is a nice place and does well. read more

We have gone here for years and always recommended the service. Who ever has taken over management for this shop is terrible! They put the wrong oil in my truck, wrote down on the sticker and said they just wrote it wrong and put it in the computer wrong. I thought maybe it was just a bad day. My wife took her car in there and they charged her for more oil than the car holds. They are terrible now and it's really a shame. read more

On our way to the coast, our car had major trouble. We took the nearest exit and looked for any car repair place and the first one we found was this Precision Tune on Spence rd. Not knowing anything about Greensboro and knowing our vehicle wouldn't go much further, we pulled in to get help. We had our dogs with us and it was pouring the rain, so we had to wait inside while they checked our car. Thankfully they didn't mind the dogs, the chairs were comfy and we had access to the tv remote while they checked our car. They checked for codes and then the master mechanic spent over an hour checking the problem. The problem was a major one and since it required many hours of work, we would be stranded overnight. We decided to have it towed back home. Even though they spent several hours checking our car and explaining our options, they refused any payment and waived the car checking fee. They knew we were in a tough spot and they were very helpful and honest about our options. If I lived in the Goldsboro area, I would definitely give this Precision Tune my car repair business!! read more

I scheduled a four wheel alignment for my 2015 BMW after the dealer in Kinston failed to have my car's specifications loaded in their Hunter alignment software. No such issue at Precision Tune! My car only required a minor adjustment to the front toe, and no special tools were required (as some alignment shops had said). Overall, I am satisfied, and Precision Tune charged $100 less than the dealer in Raleigh. read more

Went here back in 2010 to get my newly bought car serviced. The low-down treacherous guy behind the counter came back to me after my transmission fluid was flushed and said that it needed to be flushed again...for an extra $300! Are you kidding me? I also noticed after coming here another time that the guy refers customers for "hidden" extra services that he thinks their car needs and the prices are way too much for what you get..especially for NC. Never came back here again and would recommend the same for anyone looking to come here. read more

Great alignment, great customer service, fast with their work, and one of them even went above and beyond. I challenged Ryan to inflate two unbeaded tubeless trailer tires I had brought in... Before you knew it the whole team was around the tire inflater and trying to solve my problem. When they realized they needed a bead blaster and didn't have one, Ryan called the Firestone down the street and confirmed they had one. Previous to this I had been to 6 tire stores and none of them could inflate them.... but Ryan found a way to make it happen. Ryan (and those who employ him), THANK YOU and great work! Don't know about all the franchises but this one on Spence Avenue in Goldsboro, NC has a Master Mechanic with a lot of certifications and experience and a manager that understands customer service. They build trust with customers by not doing anything that isn't needed and doing good work at fair prices when it is and backing up their work with good guarantees. Pretty good waiting room with a clean rest room, good coffee and tv. Facility is good but like most businesses, their success is about the people running and operating it. These folks deserve to succeed. read more

Waited more than 2 hours for a service that took 10 mins. I watched people come and go for more than two hours. They finally took it back once I went to the service area and asked what was taking so long. I can understand having a wait...but 2+ hours after being told a much shorter time is ridiculous. worst customer service ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i went there for a full service oil change and tire rotation. i was told it would take 45 minutes. instead it took 2 hours.when i paid and walked out to my car i realized they had not rotated my tires even though they charged me for it. i walked back in and told the manager-jeanette. she was rude and dismissive like she could care less. she said they could not get the lug nuts off. in 30 years of driving i have never had a shop not be able to get lug nuts off my car. besides the fact she did not tell me this when she took my money and charged me for it. i left and as i was driving i realized my washer fluid light was still on. they had not even changed my washer fluid!!!!! i called and asked to speak to the manager which was of course-jeanette-who was rude and dismissive once again. i told her about the fluid and she just said come back in. she never apologized or seemed to care one bit. i asked where her manager was and she responded-"i don't know, maybe wilson." just overall terrible service from start to finish. i will never go back to precision tune as long as i live. read more

DO NOT use the Goldsboro Precision Tune. The manger is a con artist charging for computer-upgrade to "a manual shift-cable problem". The car simply would not move forward manual shift selecting "Drive". The manager called stating he had to flash upgrade the computer software assuring this "will FIX" problem for $180. Actually, he drove the car 14 miles away to dealership to flash computer, and without permission later stating all customers automatically signs agreement giving him permission to drive for diagnostic purposes as necessary. Driving 14 miles without permission!!? After 2.5 hours he called back stating still had the problem, further diagnostics needed but would have to pay $180 because the computer needed to be upgraded anyway in order for Precision to proceed. More B.S. from this guy The repair was a simple $22 manual transmission shift-cable. This manager cursed a friend that brought Precision business to them and in front of other Precision customers equally appalled at this loud outrageous outburst from management. This was due to another person inquiry of his obvious "theft of $180" for diagnostic that didn't resolve the problem and car in worse shape after he worked on it. After Precision returned the car it no longer moved forward in 3rd or 2nd gear. Obviously the manager Kalen\Calen\Galen (manger name) drove car to\from the dealership using multiple gears then dumped the car in worse condition than it was before taking it to Precision. He then started bad mouthing everyone for his own ignorance and substandard customer service. This shop under his management is bad news for your autos and customer service in respect. To think he was recommended is astounding. In a similar matter this same shop charged $1,300 for a $130 repair. While they are the best place to get an oil change in town as far as price is concerned, they have two problems. First, the amount of time you have to wait for an oil change is ridiculous, last time I went it was going to be almost 3 1/2 hours to get a basic oil change....way too long. The other problem is that they are going to come back with a laundry list of "problems" with your vehicle and attempt to get you to spend more money. I personally had been going there for almost 4 years and the wait time has just got worse and worse over the years. read more

I refuse to take my car anywhere else in Goldsboro. The manager, Berry, always takes wonderful care of my vehicles when I have to take them in to be serviced. The entire staff is great! I had to get an oil change on a Saturday and they didn't fuss about fitting me in at last minute. Even though they were closing in half an hour. Great people! read more
