Mr. Takeout was my favorite place to stop in and grab lunch before I moved out of town. Not only is the food very reasonably priced but they also have by far the best wings and salads in town. Their bone in wings were always my favorite. I liked the inferno sauce but trust me, it lives up to its name so be careful. For lunches, their salads were really good. I pretty much always got the same thing, Cobb salad with light Italian dressing. It never let me down so I never really mixed it up. Try the multiple varieties of wonderful wings at this teeny takeout spot. The bone-in or boneless beauties have the perfect exterior crunch, meaty tender interior, and flavor through and through. Buffalo, Garlic Parmesan, Golden BBQ, Teriyaki, Buffalo Garlic, all are mmm mmm good. They provide a bleu cheese side with the Buffalo wings, but no carrots and celery (usually traditional at a wing joint). Their pizza and salads were adequate but not as distinctive as the wings. These are crave-worthy birdies perfect for an after-work pick-up. Fast service, seemed it used to be friendlier also but is now like most other rushed monotone delivery places too short-staffed to be anything but functionally blunt on the phone. The price is totally right here. They are so quick and easy too. Ordered a large pizza (which was just enough for 2 hungry people) and some subs. I love a good pizza sauce and they've got it at Mr. Takeout. Although, I'm not sure how homemade some of the ingredients are. The pizza was nice and thin. The large subs we ordered were tasty, but a little small. They were perfect for lunch, but maybe not enough for dinner, especially if you like leftovers - which we do. I'm not sure this will become our "go to" pizza spot, but it's certainly not off the list. Wish the parking situation outside the building was a bit better. That area can be quite busy and the restaurant (which is takeout only) is located right on a blind spot. read more

This place makes some amazing wings, definitely worth a try. Although they did say there is a shortage of wings nationwide so they gave me some different wings and added some to my order for free! They have so many different sauces to try, it's worth trying them all! read more

Mediocre food. Ordered delivery and it took over 45 minutes so everything was cold by the time it got to me. Ordered the zesty mango "boneless" wings, tasted like a sweet and sour sauce mixed with chili sauce - I didn't taste any mango at all. I've ordered from Mr. Takeout quite a few times mostly while watching sports on TV (Basketball, Baseball, UFC, etc.). They have some of the best food around for watching sports and when you need some comfort food. My favorite dish here might be the Pulled Buffalo Nachos... which are actually waffle fries with Monterey Jack Cheese, bacon, jalapenos, and shredded buffalo chicken! The wings are a must here, they have 19 different sauces! My favorite wing sauces are Buffalo, Garlic Parmesan, Chipotle, Buffalo Garlic, Golden BBQ, Cucumber Wasabi, Sweet Southern Mustard, SRIRACHA, and Zesty Mango. The blue cheese sauce they serve on the side is one of the best around! Their steak bomb subs are legit as are the Golden BBQ chicken sandwich, Grilled Chicken sandwich and the Calzones. Mr. Takeout delivers which is great during the rain or snow and their staff at the counter or delivery has always been great. They have a large menu which is another plus for satisfying everybody's cravings and tastes. I haven't had the pizza here yet but I've heard nothing but good things. I am so surprised to see that Mr. Takeout has such high marks! I have ordered from here numerous times...and every time I am disappointed. The food is cheap and convenient; really the only redeeming qualities. Pizza is greasy, ingredients are NOT fresh and the dough is undercooked. 5 stars for a sub shop? Yes, and they're not paying me to write this! Honestly, it is what many would consider a typical sub shop, but there's a difference. First, everything is cooked (or made) to order-you won't see a heat lamp anywhere in the place. Yes, this means you'll have to wait a few minutes to get your fries, but they'll be fresh for sure. If they don't have something on the menu, but have the ingredients, they'll make whatever you want. They are very open to feedback, positive or negative. I've had just about everything on their menu (that I eat-I don't do beef, but just about anything else), and it's always good. Their pulled chicken with buffalo sauce is awesome: no mystery meat here, 100% breast meat pulled from a roasted chicken (careful, they do have a buffalo chicken salad with breaded and fried chicken breast-good, but not the same as the pulled chicken). And their whole wheat pizza dough they just brought in is great-try the Italian coldcut calzone with the whole wheat dough, it's awesome! I get it all the time, so tell them Steve sent you if you order it! Best of all, the customer service is outstanding. Joanathan, the owner, goes out of his way to say hello to just about everybody who comes in. But he's trained his staff well, and all of them provide excellent customer service. Frozen food heated up if you don't have the energy or time to do that. The menu lacks any real nutrition.

I've been going for about 6 weeks and I've been there probably 5 times! As the name implies, it's a place for take-out, so don't bring the family hoping for a chair. The food is really good, I can't say I have a single complaint. I've tried something from all over the menu. I've had wings, a hot sub, a cold sub, a salad wrap... The chicken caesar? They uses fresh grilled chicken as opposed to the cold baked chicken that you find at most places. Want your wings hot? They have sauces that are hot, not just claim to be that some places find. They makes 6 of his 12 sauces themselves, too. The only criticism I have isn't flavor, nor even price. The one thing I dislike is the size of the subs. However, the price for what you're getting is perfect. I'm the type of person who likes a big meal and I'm used to a large sub being more than enough. Still, the flavor is great and the price is proportional to what you're getting, so this isn't even a complaint. read more

They arrived sooner than they said on the phone (they said it would take about 45 minutes when it actually took about 30) and were very helpful on the phone both times. They have a great menu, good prices, process orders quickly, are nice when you call or walk-in AND they give you a heaping of a serving. Plus, they serve the BEST chicken salad I have ever had.
