The place is very clean but the wait was pretty long during lunch hour. My friend and I got bento boxes her the tempura and I the beef. I'm not in love and definitely not my first choice. We chose this spot as it was close to work and we had less than an hour. Might go back to try again when I have more time. Next time I'll try a sushi burrito instead

Well I have my go to spots for Poke and sushi I am really trying to try new places. I have driven past here quite a bit, so I decided to meet my coworker there for us to try it. The restaurant was very clean. It's a very small little fast food style place. If I had any suggestion for the place at all, would be to maybe hire more staff if they can there was only two people working. I know they were super busy, but it took us 10 minutes to even get them to acknowledge that we were there. My sushi burrito was very good. I definitely would like to order from there again, but maybe not eat inside.

I've been here three times now, all for takeout orders, and the sushi is fairly good. Their advertising emphasizes that they have discounted rolls up to 50% off - and their menu shows "original" prices with a slash through them and a lower price. Their sushi is affordable, but know that special rolls are on the small side compared to other shops and the higher "original" price is a little misleading - prices are good but no one is normally paying $15 for a Philadelphia roll in the first place. Location is clean and they recently added cute wall murals. Service has been friendly and they're great about estimating wait times for call in orders. Orders are always packed well and have been fresh across all of my visits. Favorite menu items include their handrolls (particularly the spicy tuna), spicy salmon/tuna tartare (for a unique app), and the Sakura roll (shrimp, avocado, spicy tuna, cucumber?, and tobiko). Some rolls are on the plain side, maybe ask for your favorite sauce on the side. Note that dine in orders are served on paper Dixie plates which is not a great look. But the food is good and they regularly look busy, so give them a try. Great service. Parking can be difficult in this lot. I'll be back.

Super cute clean little restaurant. I've only grab Togo food here but it's been delicious, fresh and correct each time! The location is super convenient by my chiropractor and the food comes out fast so it's becoming my go to for sure.

I came in here opting out of going to Panera (they had hidden away their suicide lemonade and that's all I wanted) and I was really craving sushi. Walking in, they were super busy but they helped me just fine. Everyone was friendly. I didn't realize it wasn't a sushi restaurant, it's more so good for take out. You can dine in but you have to order at the counter. Which is fine, but I was looking for a restaurant. Anyway, I received my order on paper plates with honestly, is charming! It be like that. It's no diss on the food. Let's get to that: So I got a mango slush with boba, it was okay, boba was a little harder than I had liked. 4/10. Next, the rolls I got: California, dragon, and mango. Mango is one of their popular, solid like 6/10. California was standard. Dragon was decent 7/10. Now their miso soup lacked for my preference, 3/10. Bland. Garlic edamame? 2/10. Not really cooked, not any garlic. Terms of ambiance, feels like a sushi restaurant. Looks like one. That passes just fine! So food overall, was okay-ish. Maybe in a pinch I'd grab a couple rolls. But I'm not itching to come back.

i got the sushi burrito and it was DELICIOUS, flavorful rice and scrumptious sauce. The price was very fair, service was extremely nice, and the ambiance decor was on point.

She was in a body building contest so needless to say she eats in a very healthy manner. She found Flower Child and we're so happy she did. It has very cool decor giving off the rustic, loft vibe. It's very clean, bright with organic elements. We were greeted in a friendly manner at the counter. The menu displayed overhead was extensive. Our friend chose avocado toast with sweet potato fries. My husband and I ordered the chicken entree with steamed brown rice. My second side was a grilled asparagus mujadera while hubby chose the sweet potato fries as a second side. Everything was so delicious! We were blown away from all these well made & healthy eats. We were so deep in conversation that I forgot to take photos of our meals save for the sweet potato fries & dip. Healthy never tasted so good! Staff were friendly and welcoming. They were happy to know we thoroughly enjoyed their food. We were ecstatic to find out there is a Flower Child in Del Mar!

Although they were busy we received are order in a very timely manner. I ordered their Carolina Chicken BBQ wrap. This wrap was very well put together with kombucha grilled chicken, pepper jack, coleslaw and pickles. It came with some greens on the plate as well. It was very delicious. I'm not much into wraps but was compelled to give it a try and I'm glad I did. I'm definitely returning to try more of their items. I forgot what my friend had but it was gluten free. This location was in Summerlin on Rampart and Sahara. Come give them a try. I forgot to take a picture as I was starving.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, it gives modern Italian vibes. We went on a random weekday, wasn't overly busy. The service was excellent, prompt and polite. The menu spans most traditional Italian fair from pizzas to pasta to meat entrees. We ordered the calamari to start, was delicious and fresh served with marinara. The wine selection is pretty provost offering bottles and glasses. I ordered the lamb chops and player 2 the seafood pasta. I was barely able to get a picture in before we dove in. The food smelled excellent and tasted even better. The lamb wasn't gamey , always a fear of mine, and cooked perfectly. I would 100% come back here for a nice easy dinner. 2 entrees , appetizer and 2 glasses of wine. Out the door for 100$, was a good deal for sure.

Their menu is mostly Italian but is also accented with some Greek and offers a nice selection of meats and seafood. Inside is rich and comfortable. They also offer a nice partially enclosed dog friendly patio. For our first visit we decided to try lunch (M-F). There is a lot of offerings on the lunch menu. They also happen to offer at least EIGHT different salads that all sound delicious so I thought this would be a great choice to dine here. Even at lunch time they started us off with fresh baked tasty bread and creamy butter. My husband wanted to try the soup of the day and tried a soup called Toscano. It was a creamy soup with sausage, potatoes, and kale and he said that it was very good. We decided to try the baked brie appetizer because that sounded super tasty. The brie was embellished with hazelnuts, caramelized onions, apricot preserved, and was wrapped in a crunchy pastry crust. It came with sweet pear slices, grapes, and buttered toasts. It was tasty and substantial. It ran a little on the sweet side. I think some people could also enjoy this as dessert. For us this seemed like maybe four servings so we had half and brought the rest home. I tried the Beet and Grilled Salmon salad. They don't ask on how you'd like the salmon so I was a bit nervous about it but thankfully it came out reasonably good. The salmon was prepared well done but it was still very moist and didn't have that over cooked taste so that was good to me. The salad was very nice and freshly made. It was adorned with with generous pieces of cooked beets that were topped with goat cheese. The soft mixed green salad had fresh roasted red peppers and sweet candied walnuts so it was tasty. My husband enjoyed the Chicken Parm. He already wants to come back again. We were too full to even think about dessert. Our server was very nice, helpful, efficient, and friendly. It's so nice to find a new one for our local rotation.

However I ordered with Steve who helped me decide which pasta I would love more. Very articulate human. I recommend asking him specifically if you can't decide. :-) The agnolotti was really unique fresh and lovely. I got a side of sourdough toast - which was Smokey and strange to me because usually that means in grilled same place as meat. They explained how it's done here and no meat grill is involved so it was actually an interesting thing. After deliberation I got the untoasted ungrilled version which was great with the butter and salt. It also actually made a lot more sense with the dish soup I can soak the sauce with the bread. I would have gotten the west of eden cocktail but had a headache. They do batch make them but in house. Not sure why but when I walked in I was told it's a 20 minute wait for a seat at the bar and then when I got sat in 5 minutes I noticed a ton of spots on the bar open and some tables as well. I tend to think it's like a "thing" to have people wait in LA too - but I don't run a restaurant so not gonna assume I know anything about that. It's Monday after EDC. It was full but not insanely loud. Quite pleasant ambiance. The experience is strong overall, though the pricing is difficult to justify. I paid $52 for a pasta dish and a side of bread after tax and tip. That is more than any Italien place I have ever went to (which are all the fancy places in LA and a few around the world). I don't think that's appropriate or called for, but obviously this place is extremely successful despite that. Just something to consider. I had no idea.

Great crispy exterior and i can honestly eat one entire portion myself! Their pizza is perfectly prepared as well, nice bouncy crust, no questions there. I would say I wasnt a huge fan of some of them, but you definitely get what is described on the menu. There's no dine-in, but they have a small side lot where it is safe to park and eat in the car. They also have breakfast burritos and options to make it a bowl, plus there's refreshments for juice, lemonade, and tea. I noticed a long line at the drive-thru, so I parked and walked up to the side window to place a quick order. There's a black button to press and ring bell for service. The staff member Fernando opened the window, and I kindly asked to see the menu, he said when I'm ready to order, just ring the bell. I chose Roasted Autumn Salad ($7.75) and opt for tofu as my protein. The salad is plentiful and delicious! It has a generous serving of fresh crisp romaine, topped with savory soft tofu, tender sweet potatoes, dried cranberries, brussels sprouts, crunchy candied pecans, shaved parmesan, and a delightful balsamic vinaigrette, it's really good and very filling! Also had two refreshments, Mango Green Tea ($2.10) and Cucumber Mint Arnold Palmer ($2.10), both drinks are light and tasty! My personal favorite is the Mango Green Tea, it has a lovely mango sweetness and super refreshing! Service from Fernando is very kind, welcoming, attentive, and friendly! I received my order quick and it took about two minutes to prepare.
