I used Mr. Sprinkler over the summer and had a great experience. They fixed a few busted sprinkler heads and solved a problem with the timer. I found their pricing to be fair, and they were available on short notice which was great. Recently I discovered a leak in some of our irrigation piping and I decided to give Mr Sprinkler a call again. This time around the experience was not so good. Actually wasn't really much of an experience to talk about. I called them three times and left two messages over the last week. Nobody ever got back to me. Everything I've seen online says they are still open and working, so I'm not sure why I didn't get a call back. Not a huge deal but kind of a bummer since they were a really good company to work with a few months ago. My search for a reliable sprinkler company continues! read more

I have used Mr. Sprinkler several times and have been more than satisfied with both their work and pricing. I have never had a problem making an appointment or scheduling to my convenience. They have helped my out of a couple jams created by a contractor as well as normal repair work. The reviews are actually spot on-the communication DOES NOT exist. I reached out the Mr Sprinkler to install the Rachio-they did respond-why. My response-I travel-and would like to be able to turn off system-when I am out of town. They responded OKAY-then it went to silence mode. If you don't want to do the job just reply-you are not interested-but silence mode is NOT acceptable, and definitely NOT customer service. I live in Light House Point, FL. On 5/11/23 I paid MR. SPRINKLER OF SO. FL., INC. the amount of $330.00 to replace the check valve and shorten the distance of my pvc feed line to the lake (from where I draw the irrigation water for my sprinkler system). The service tech, Mark did a good job, was there for hours, and made sure the system functioned properly before leaving. He told me the check valve was clogged and that I should run the system once a week to ensure no baby snails get in there and grow to a size that can inhibit the check valve functioning properly. I followed his instructions to the letter, even during the heavy rains that came shortly thereafter. Not even a month went by and the check valve was clogged again! I called and called to have them come out to fix it again and finally after weeks went by and multiple calls were made, the new tech, Sean, showed up to fix the same problem as before. He was a nice gentleman and worked there for a couple of hours. He replaced the defective check valve, that they had installed almost a month earlier, and cleaned the filter screen as well. He checked the system, and regained prime. All is good again... However, he left me another invoice for $320 bucks! WAIT, WHAT!??... ...THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL I'M PAYING THEM FOR THE SAME SERVICE!!!! If you want work performed on your sprinkler system with a company that backs up or guarantees their services, Mr. Sprinkler is NOT a GOOD COMPANY to choose! If you do choose them and they double invoice you for the same service, I guess we'll see each other vs. MR. SPRINKLER OF SO. FL., INC. in court! read more

I saw the truck in my neighborhood doing work on another property. I called that day to see if they could come out to give me a quote for some sprinkler head repairs since they were nearby. The lady who answered the phone called to technician to see if he could stop by but he was in route to another job. I said no problem and left my contact information and asked that someone call me back to discuss and/or set up an appointment. That was over 2 weeks ago and to date, no one has called me back. If a company can't exercise common courtesy and professionalism to get back to potential clients, that is a red flag of how they do business. I would not recommend this company and from what you can see in the other reviews, this has happened to several other people as well. read more

Don't waste your time. It took three calls to get him here and he did most of the job, but he left some things unfinished. I called five phone calls before he would talk to me. On the first two calls a woman took a message and promised someone would come over or at least call me. On the third try I got "the (older) guy" on the phone, but he tried to put the blame on me for him not finishing his work. I left two more messages. He promised to come back, but after three more calls and messages over two weeks he still hasn't shown up. I don't know for sure, but I think "the (older) guy" is the owner. Someone else from the same company came last year and he was so much better. "The (older) guy" might be overworked, and maybe his company is short staffed, but the woman who answers the phone could at least call back or let me know they won't be sending anyone over. Don't leave a customer hanging. I recommend that potential customers take their business elsewhere. read more

The worst service I have ever experienced. Rude and unhelpful on the phone and when they came my my house for what I clearly stated was an estimate they responded with "We don't do estimates. We do service - It could cost anywhere from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand." - Seriously? Stay FAR away! Not recommended. Not even in the least. read more

What a wonderful experience. I purchased a home with this company's system already installed and needed some serious help bringing it back up to par. The guys came to my home and listened to all my needs and did a wonderful job of fixing everything I asked at a VERY reasonable price. The original installer from 15 years ago was actually one of the guys that was at my house, 15 years with the same company...that says a lot about the quality and integrity of this company.
