During the early days of the Covid-19 Pandemic, I decided to devout more time, and effort into landscape improvements. Fortuitously, I happened to call Dinah Bilkis at Sunshine Sprinkler for an estimate appointment, to update my less than efficient RainBird irrigation system, to a more efficient Hunter Wi-Fi controllable system. The next day, Dinah's husband Dave came out to give me an estimate. Dave, and I immediately connected; as I knew many of his former teachers, and coaches from his high school years, at South Broward HS. Additionally, I was very comfortable with Dave's estimate, and decided to hire Sunshine Sprinklers to do the job; and I am VERY glad I did!! My water bill has decreased, and my lawn, and landscaping, has never looked as good. I have since recommended Sunshine Sprinkler to several equally satisfied friends, and neighbors. Also, when my newly married daughter, and son-in-law bought their present home, within the Royal Oak Hills neighborhood, of Boca Raton, my housewarming gift to them was a new Hunter Wi-Fi irrigation system installed by Sunshine Sprinkler; which they love having! Additionally, Sunshine Sprinkler offers an annual maintenance plan; which I strongly recommend! For a reasonable fee, they tune, and proactively troubleshoot irrigation system installations, every 3 months. Conveniently, Dinah keeps track of this quarterly service, and calls a few days in advance to schedule an agreeable day/time! Lastly, Dinah & Dave's son, Ryan, who works for his parents; started up a landscape lighting division. Ryan installs Hunter LED WI-Fi Lighting Systems. I never had landscape lighting; but based on my positive experiences with the Hunter Irrigation System; I totally entrusted Ryan to design, and install landscape lighting, in my front yard. Ryan did a fantastic job! The new lighting system has generated MANY compliments from friends, and neighbors; which has led to more recommendations of Sunshine Sprinkler! The original irrigation system that I have here was manual. Having leaks and loosing prime was also a big problem. I called 3 other companies & they each came to meet me. Sunshine was on time, and so were the other 2. (1 was much too expensive & 1 did not call back when requested.) I received 3 different claims as to the problem! Dina and Dave are both very professional and knowledgeable. The estimate was reasonable & affordable; leaks repaired; a few new sprinkler heads & replaced a new timer. Dave did not force me to sign with his company or price gouge. I received an additional discount because they are genuine, nice, honest people; & they really wanted to help me. Yes, I recommend them! I contacted Sunshine Sprinklers system to change/modify my existing sprinklers systems. Dave came for an estimate and gave me a detailed quote with all the heads/zones that need to be modified to give me an efficient system using less water, Few days later, his team came on time to do the work. The guys were fast and did a great job.Ryan took time to explain to me the new zones and activated the new WIFI sprinklers system app with me. It is friendly user and easy to program from my phone. I wasn't totally happy with one head in the front of the house and Ryan came back 2 days later to change it to my satisfaction. I was happy to see that client satisfaction is a priority for them. We wanted to get our sprinkler system back in good working order, since one of the sprinkler lines has sprung a leak. We called Sunshine Sprinklers, and left a voicemail. Dinah quickly returned our call, and scheduled a time for their team to come out to the house. She explained their charges upfront. The team showed up promptly, on time, and confirmed what we would like to have done. Sunshine Sprinkler Systems is a family run business that cares about its customers and delivers good installations and follow up maintenance. They recently installed a three phase system for us. The work was good and the price competitive. I was removing a group of tree roots when I thought I might have damaged the sprinkler line with my shovel. I asked them to check the system and to repair a sprinkler head damaged by the grass mower. Not only did the respond in a timely manner but they also refused to bill me because the system was so new. We used to have sprinklers that worked from a well. Tired of moving cars and cleaning up water stains because of well water. Sunshine connected us to city water . They came in under our budget, they were on time and were done in about 3 -4 hours. Now the sprinklers work perfectly and the control system is connected to our WiFi.
