I hired this individual to install an irrigation pump for an agreed price of $250 and paid $125 upfront as requested. Shortly after receiving the payment, he became completely unreachable--no replies to texts and no returned calls. I made multiple attempts to contact him and even gave him the opportunity to return the deposit if he was unable to complete the job. He ignored all communication. Due to his lack of professionalism and failure to resolve the issue, I will be filing a formal consumer bureau complaint. Do not hire this company. Then killed all my grass (intentionally), followed by excuse after excuse of both trucks in the shop. Never competed the work. After 3 weeks of excuses I told him don't come back. I started with Andrew Alvarez Always Right Lawn Care in February 2024. Andrew made a good first impression. But he destroyed large areas of our lawn with spilled fertilizer. He said he would replace the sod and correct the problem. Never saw him again. Truck in the shop. Then the other truck. Then not answering my messages. Until I sent a message saying I wanted the trees in front to be trimmed. For his quoted price which was double what I had already been quoted. Immediate response. I then said the sod needed to be taken care of first. He never answered again after that. Excuses, lies. An earlier review said he had the perfect excuse for not showing up. He was in the hospital?? Unfortunately a few weeks after our sod was installed, it is completely dead. We originally had mulch in this area because it is a shady spot of our yard. However, they insisted we should put grass because they sold a specific type of sod that did not need a lot of sun. They also suggested to hire them to install new sprinkler heads in this area, which made sense so we said yes. $1000 later and you can see the result in picture below. The owner has not responded in regards to this - no answer. We stopped using their maintenance services because two times in a row they left many dead palm fronds and branches in our yard and when we asked them to correct this same issue, no response. read more

I dread leaving bad reviews but this company was a big disappointment. Not only are they overpriced, but they do not respond to messages. I texted that the payment was made and to cancel future service, and the owner "Liked" the text. I added another text that they had blown over all of my tenant's plants and lawn chairs and got no response whatsoever. According to Yelp they offer a military discount, yet when I asked about it, Andrew told me the only "discount" he could give would be for "Sprinkler Inspection" service. It's a shame. Willy and Andrew are a father and son team that get the job done right! They are super fast and efficient. They've been doing our neighbors yard for years so we are confident in their work. When it came down to it and we needed some help, they weren't pushy about their services but were very friendly and knowledgeable about answering our questions. Contrary to other companies that we have called out for quotes, their prices were competitive and they were honest about what we needed and what we didn't. They offer an array of services from sprinkler repairs to sod installation to simple lawn care and revival. They will send you a invoice monthly so you pay through Zelle. I agreed to let Andrew remove weeds, pressure clean, and reseal my travertine and a few other items in my backyard. I was very clear about what I wanted. Andrew sold me a dream, promising me a great job and a deadline I was happy with. Oh was he so nice and friendly in the beginning! Andrew is the type that will be nice until he collects your money upfront, overpromise, underdeliver, catch an attitude when you are just checking in since he didn't keep his promises, and call you rude when you speak up to express your concerns with the sloppy job. Whatever you do...DO NOT pay them upfront and get everything itemized because once they have your money, you are on their time and you have to deal with Andrew's attitude if you express your displeasure with anything (no customer service skills at all). Oh, and he will increase the price at the last minute out of spite. They charged me an extra $25 for screws on the last day saying we agreed to it but not according to my camera footage! And why wasn't this added to the original quote? Screws??? really? What a joke! You should have discounted me for finishing the job 2-3 days late instead of being petty charging for screws I have in my garage already! I have all the proof on my ring cameras around my home for what we agreed to and the sloppy work with the sealer. Do not ever think I will agree to pay you what you asked and think you will dick me around and I will sit quietly. I refused to let anyone tell me I am rude after paying to get screwed over and speaking up. I am not rude; I am direct and you just don't like that I told you that your service sucks! Andrew is so spiteful he left my backyard in a mess. I still have stems coming out the travertine and rocks smh. And he left a big piece of wood about to pierce through my screen and his handprints on the wall.
