To be honest Vinnie's didn't disappoint in style, but when I arrived with an online order that was totally incorrect I was concerned about the quality of customer service I would receive. I was WRONG. I explained that I did not receive what I ordered and showed them the merchandise, the salesman apologize and when I asked for an exchange they found exactly what I was looking for, have you ever arrived at a location ready to fight and it wasn't necessary? That's how I felt. This young man was courteous and professional and check this while I was awaiting an exchange my son was shopping with another professional young man who helped him find a very stylish denim jacket and when my son arrived to the counter with the jacket in hand to check out the young man at the counter said, "you know I got the jeans to match that".... I was done...an up sell... my son looked like he hit the lotto...my money was spent nothing else I could say...GREAT customer service. I got nothing but AWESOME service that day as we exited they ALL said "good bye" and wished my son a good upcoming freshmen year in college. I'm not even gonna tell you how much I spent that day. It was worth every red cent. I will be back again!

I only know this since I tried to buy 4 different items but they weren't for sale because they were sentimental reasons. Though I was sad I couldn't aquire some of these things, the stories he provided filled that need to own it. This spot is a controlled chaos in all the best ways. It has the New York City flavor to its core that would be missed by non-natives. All and all, respect to this shop on every level. I dropped $150 without a second thought after buying alot of stuff because these are shops I want to support. It's passion over profit (in a realistic mindset). Thank you!

A wide assortment of retailers including chain stores, fast food restaurants, food carts, banks and fights, (you're almost certain to see some type of disagreement. Waayyy) to name a few. Jewelry and electronic stores seems to be the King here with trainers store running a close second. If you're on a budget you're gonna love it here. It's mainly a pedestrian shopping street but buses are allowed and I've seen a few privately owned vehicles pass through as well. It's kept clean and WE can do our part by making use of the many garbage bins provided. I've noticed a lot of "closing down" signs on storefronts and I really hope it isn't another sign of gentrification. I hope they aren't pushing the little ones out for all big chains because I'll have something to say! **Thinking** Tip: walk up one side and walk down the next, don't be a hero (like) me and cross like a mad woman each time you see a store you wanna visit. I get to FSM using the subway. I sometimes get off at the Hoyt street and schemerhorn station but if you want to get to the heart of it, get off at the Jay Street-MetroTech station. I went to a few chain stores in downtown BK but they didn't carry the brand I was looking for. The last store I went to actually recommended Outlandish. I'd walked by Outlandish many times over the years and it hadn't dawned on me that the store specifically marketed as the be-all for things hiking should have been my first pick. With no more time to waste, I headed over and was thrilled when they not only had the brand I was looking for but offered personable, excellent customer service. He seemed not only very knowledgeable on hiking gear but genuinely invested in each customer's experience and trip. After trying on three pairs, I decided on a pair and some hiking socks on recommendation and I'm so happy with my purchase. I wore them around the next day to ease into them before the trip and they are so comfy and even look nice. So happy to have come across and supported this business and highly recommend.
