Let me preface by saying I know a thing or two about shave ice and this place is.... okay. First of all, true shave ice is spelled without a "d" at the end. Anytime a place is listed as "shaved" ice it raises a red flag. Why a person would invest tens of thousands of dollars into a business without doing a simple Google search on the product it will sell is besides me. Anyways, the ice is a little rough in texture but the flavors seem to make up for it. The shave ice at this place is more like a Mexican raspa than tropical or Hawaiian shave ice. Presentation is plain- white, tall cup. No flowers or wide brim to allow for higher ice. The venue is also very plain. It has kind of a cool thatched roof but is not an outstanding location you would want to hang at for a long time. Employees were nice but not passionate about the product. All in all, this place is worth a stop if you REALLY want a shave ice and are in the area but is definitely not a destination in itself. Better prices in the area, Super fast walk-up service, but love the fact they have a drive thru. Super clean for being outdoors as well.

I do not recommend this place at all, TWICE now we have driven all the way to this location only to find that they decided to close whenever they feel like it. The first time we came they had their hours posted as 12-9 we got there at 8 and the lady inside said they were closed. SECOND time we got there they changed the post on their hours to 12-8 we got there at 7 and again the lady said they were closed. What kind of business is this that doesn't honor their hours of service, they clearly do not care about their customers. I will never waist my time or gas coming to this place again! read more

The best snow cone place in Waco. They have wonderful flavors, an assortment of desserts ranging from snow cones, to ice cream, sundaes, to fruit and more. My favorite though is their Cantaloupe water! It's delicious! I visit frequently just for that drink. Definitely recommend. read more

I love this shaved ice! I've visited a handful of times and would definitely go back. They have a huge menu with lots of flavor options. Great prices. Amazing flavor. The customer service is average (I.e. employees are nice, but not above and beyond by any means - hence the 4 stars) & the line can be long at times, especially on a hot TX summer day, but that's because it's so good & super refreshing. Honestly, this place wasn't bad. If you want a simple snow cone then this is the place to go. I went here looking for something similar to Hawaiian shave ice, which is the best creamy sweet happy thing on the planet. Mr Ice has a huge customizable menu so you can create basically anything you want. The reason I chose this place was because you can add ice cream to the bottom of your snow cone and condensed milk to the top (ice cap) to try and emulate shave ice. Despite the tropical flavors and the similar design to shave ice, the end result wasn't close. To me, the syrups are gross. It is identical to the kind you can buy at Walmart to mix into your margaritas. Thick and heavy, and tasting like a bastardized version of what they're supposed to represent. I couldn't get pass the taste. But everyone else in my party enjoyed it enough to finish. I think we all agreed the syrup was super artificial but on a super hot Texas summer day, I guess it wouldn't matter much. ‍ read more

The ice cream and snow cones are ok. The food is terrible, I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was filled with big balls of fat and it had bones in it. Also, every time I have been there the wait has been awful. The drive through took 15 minutes and only one car was ahead of me. read more

Thought this would be a good visit since there's always alot of cars here but very disappointed. Ordered a big red float and there was maybe one scoop of ice cream in there, if that. We used to come to Mr snows alot and than they redid their building... and today was the first time we have been here since they opened back up. 5-13-16. And it was a HORRIBLE experience... We sat in the drive thru line for over 35 minutes. With waiting to order with only 4 cars in front of us. Long story short you're going to wait a LONG TIME. Never waited that long.
