I have been going to this place for years and I will never stop! The staff is all so beyond friendly and the owners have clearly worked very hard to make this place run so smoothly. The philly cheesesteak is my favorite thing on the menu, there is never a time where I am dissapointed. My favorite pizza is the supreme pizza, which they always make sure is fresh and ready to go when I get there. This place is ver time efficient and it is a wonderful place to go. Worst experience I've ever had. While eating a slice of pizza, I bit into the metal rivet pictured and chipped my molar. I called the store and was instructed to call the their vendor who makes their dough. As a customer I shouldn't have to call their vendors but I did. The dough vendor of course denied it, after sending the metal piece and giving them a week to investigate. I then called and spoke to the owner of this restaurant and he denied the possibility of this coming from the store. He accused of me of: calling the store to complain 4 hours after buying the pizza (because I guess I was supposed to eat the whole pizza in the first 30 minutes), saying someone in my house "must've been playing around" and dropped it in the pizza, and that I was mistaken because this has never happened to him in 20 years. Zero remorse for the situation. Even through this frustrating ordeal, I never raised my voice or spoke rudely to either owner, yet both accused me of falsifying my statement. I shouldn't have to dig through every piece of pizza to determine if metal is baked in. Will never order from them again. read more

I guess this place is popular at one of my work locations down the street so I was excited when we ordered food from here yesterday. I ordered an Italian sub with everything yesterday and it was deplorable. In all honesty, gas station sandwiches are better. At first I thought it was a ham and cheese sandwich. Everything consisted of lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. There were no hot peppers, oregano, olive oil or vinegar. They served the damn thing with mayo and the sandwich just completely sucked all around. How you can mess up an Italian sub is beyond me. I was starving so I ate it but it was terrible. In order for this location prolly about 1x a week if not more. The delivery drivers know me by name!! I always place my order online and for the most everthing is good. I always as for 10 wings flat pieces, old bay with blue cheese. Almost always they forget the blue cheese. Not a big deal but .50 is .50 cents. A few times I have received plain wings. Well today I called to tell them my order was wrong and instead of me getting ...I'm sorry we will make another one. I get you didn't choose a flavor I took your order I remembered. Not sure if I was more upset about the customer service aspect of it or the fact that he lied. Cause I placed my order online. When I told him that he said I will send another one and hung up. We order off Door Dash. The pizza comes with a seasoned brushed crust - a garlic Parmesan seasoning...super yummy. Deliveries via door dash have been prompt, hot, and contain the full and personalized order. Big fan, love the complimentary seasoned crust. Never too greasy, and always correctly made to order. This is my first time ordering...I chose a steak and cheese sub with fries and a drink. They did not give me a delivery time but they did deliver it and a record 16 minutes! When I open my order the delivery guy was already gone and it absolutely was not what I ordered. Instead of a steak and cheese sub they sent a hamburger sub with everything on it with lukewarm fries. No ketchup no napkins. That's what I get for not looking at the receipt before he left. I probably won't be ordering from here again. As fast as the taste, is typical of a carry out, nothing spectacular, just ok. UPDATE: 30 minutes later, the delivery guy came back with the correct order. Very sweet and apologetic. Steady stream of customers in and out so it looks like they do more pick up and delivery. Every time I talk with them it's like they have such a bad attitude and couldn't care less that you're ordering from them. I've had better customer service experiences from government agencies and that's saying something. But the food is great which is why I still eat there. So we got the Carry -Out Special it was a Large 2 topping pizza for $10.99 we order Mushrooms and Imported Ham! They said 20 mins to pick up no biggie! Hubby went picked up got home and I opened box and I said WHERES THE IMPORTED Ham?? I literary had to get my magnifying Glass out to find it!! I took a piece off and took pic of it! I really could not believe it! I told hubby that Imported Ham must of been imported here from China and some one ate it on its Way!! Such a joke! I had never heard of an extra crispy pizza, they aren't KFC. Heard about this place from a friend. I've lived here almost 2 years. Didn't know about Mr. Pizza until a few months ago. I'm hooked. Pizza crust has a nice dusting of garlic/salt seasoning mix. Love it. I've had a cheesesteak from them, it wasn't horrible. Not that much flavor to the meat and sub roll was a little much. Delivery guys are really nice! Usually service is really quick, one time it wasn't the delivery guy was very apologetic, saying they were short handed. Enough is enough though when it comes to customer service and how you speak to people it means everything for your business. When attempting to place an order over the phone a middle aged male answered the phone. I was speaking clear and loud being they close in a hour, I wanted to make sure I was efficient. He was rushing me with my order and then pretended to not hear me. Instead of asking me politely to repeat myself instead he thought yelling "hello...hello" instead. I've had no trouble with service in my bedroom so I knew he was acting like he couldn't hear me. Long story short I'll never order from them again. I found a new spot thanks to speaking with a friend who lives in the Glen burnie area and had similar experience with this location. Hadn't been in for a while, but had another errand nearby and thought I'd give it another try. I remembered that they'd had pretty good pizza in the past, and have a $7.99 14" cheese special posted on their window, so I picked one up to take home. It was not as good as I remember. It wasn't BAD, it just didn't blow me away. I do like the garlicy butter they use on the crust, but the flavor of the sauce was a bit bland. The staff were friendly, service was fast, and the price was good. Just need to improve the sauce and they'll be back on top. read more

I will never go here again. This was my second time here and while the food is ok the people working were horrible. The girl working had terrible attitude and was yelling at the cooks in the back. She left a phone I customer on hold for a long time and started cursing at the cooks in the back when they suggested she pick up the phone. There are to many other pizza places to deal with cursing and yelling when trying to pick up food. After years of ordering from Mr Pizza, I am sorry to say the love affair is over. I don't know who is working in the back now but whoever it is needs to find a new profession! I have kept the faith that the food would return to it's spectacular best, but no such luck. Pizza came with way too much cheese, if you do not request doubling up on toppings you will be disappointed. Mr Pizza used to make an incredible cheese steak. Nope- not any more. I thought you melt the cheese on the steak, not the bread- one slice does not make cheese steak, nor does tiny bits of pepper and even littler bits of onion. It's a shame to say this, but the food and service as a whole have gone down at Mr. Pizza & Subs. Their pasta and pizza sauce taste as though they're straight from the can - minus the massive amounts of grease. I've also ordered cheesesteak and meatball subs. The steak meat was very lacking in salt and pepper, a portion of it so over cooked it was crunchy. The meatballs, however, did have good flavor. On my last order, I called in to pick up. Upon arrival, I stood at the counter waiting for nearly 10 minutes, while employees passed me, glancing at me, but never even acknowledging they had a customer. After finally paying for my order, I asked if my sodas were in the bag as well. The employee pointing to the fridge, before turning his back. No bag, no thank you. Not the worst experience I've ever had, but far from the best. That, plus the lacking quality of food, is why I've given such a low rating. read more

Same type of food but just much more flavor. Today (after 4 long days of traveling for work) I ordered a calzone. It was absolutely delicious. I called and ordered a steak and cheese with extra cheese I don't think they put any cheese and I think $18 for one sub and a order of french fries is pretty pricey but then again maybe there was a delivery charge that they didn't bother to tell me about. I will give them one more chance but next time I'm going to pick it up if it's still $18 I won't be back I can get much better for a reasonable price don't mind paying good money for something but I'm not going to pay 50% above the average especially for below-average food . read more
