Heard about this place from a friend. I've lived here almost 2 years. Didn't know about Mr. Pizza until a few months ago. I'm hooked. Pizza crust has a nice dusting of garlic/salt seasoning mix. Love it. I've had a cheesesteak from them, it wasn't horrible. Not that much flavor to the meat and sub roll was a little much. Delivery guys are really nice! Usually service is really quick, one time it wasn't the delivery guy was very apologetic, saying they were short handed. I didn't even have to call, they knew that the length of time it was taking wasn't normal. I liked that. read more

been going for 20 plus years since was a kid got it the other disappointed they switched their fries they're not the same and that was my favorite thing read more

Food was good. Really enjoyed the steak and cheese. Very filling to the bun and the meat.

bad service the cashier was mad for no reason really bad attitude I will never get pizza from this place read more

I have been going to this place for years and I will never stop! The staff is all so beyond friendly and the owners have clearly worked very hard to make this place run so smoothly. The philly cheesesteak is my favorite thing on the menu, there is never a time where I am dissapointed. My favorite pizza is the supreme pizza, which they always make sure is fresh and ready to go when I get there. This place is ver time efficient and it is a wonderful place to go. The prices are also quite reasonable for the amount of food and the quality. read more

Love to go to eat here. The food is amazing and they have great deals as well. I highly recommend getting the pizza and subs. I recently got the supreme pizza and it was delicious it was packed with toppings and cooked to perfection!! read more

In order for this location prolly about 1x a week if not more. The delivery drivers know me by name!! I always place my order online and for the most everthing is good. I always as for 10 wings flat pieces, old bay with blue cheese. Almost always they forget the blue cheese. Not a big deal but .50 is .50 cents. A few times I have received plain wings. Well today I called to tell them my order was wrong and instead of me getting ...I'm sorry we will make another one. I get you didn't choose a flavor I took your order I remembered. Not sure if I was more upset about the customer service aspect of it or the fact that he lied. Cause I placed my order online. When I told him that he said I will send another one and hung up. I get the new order and this is attached to my bag. Please see photos. I will never order from here again. Thanks!! read more

Mr Pizza & Subs - His receipt. - Pizza Near Me - Glen Burnie, Maryland

Worst experience I've ever had. While eating a slice of pizza, I bit into the metal rivet pictured and chipped my molar. I called the store and was instructed to call the their vendor who makes their dough. As a customer I shouldn't have to call their vendors but I did. The dough vendor of course denied it, after sending the metal piece and giving them a week to investigate. I then called and spoke to the owner of this restaurant and he denied the possibility of this coming from the store. He accused of me of: calling the store to complain 4 hours after buying the pizza (because I guess I was supposed to eat the whole pizza in the first 30 minutes), saying someone in my house "must've been playing around" and dropped it in the pizza, and that I was mistaken because this has never happened to him in 20 years. Zero remorse for the situation. Even through this frustrating ordeal, I never raised my voice or spoke rudely to either owner, yet both accused me of falsifying my statement. I shouldn't have to dig through every piece of pizza to determine if metal is baked in. Will never order from them again. read more

Mr Pizza & Subs - Metal rivet in pizza - Pizza Near Me - Glen Burnie, Maryland

This is my first time ordering...I chose a steak and cheese sub with fries and a drink. They did not give me a delivery time but they did deliver it and a record 16 minutes! When I open my order the delivery guy was already gone and it absolutely was not what I ordered. Instead of a steak and cheese sub they sent a hamburger sub with everything on it with lukewarm fries. No ketchup no napkins. That's what I get for not looking at the receipt before he left. I probably won't be ordering from here again. As fast as the taste, is typical of a carry out, nothing spectacular, just ok. UPDATE: 30 minutes later, the delivery guy came back with the correct order. Very sweet and apologetic. I can appreciate that. More stars and maybe I will order from them again! read more

Mr Pizza & Subs - I definitely ordered a steak and cheese sub.... - Pizza Near Me - Glen Burnie, Maryland

I guess this place is popular at one of my work locations down the street so I was excited when we ordered food from here yesterday. I ordered an Italian sub with everything yesterday and it was deplorable. In all honesty, gas station sandwiches are better. At first I thought it was a ham and cheese sandwich. Everything consisted of lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. There were no hot peppers, oregano, olive oil or vinegar. They served the damn thing with mayo and the sandwich just completely sucked all around. How you can mess up an Italian sub is beyond me. I was starving so I ate it but it was terrible. It also had tons of onions. I'd try their pizza but their Italian sub sucks. read more

We order off Door Dash. The pizza comes with a seasoned brushed crust - a garlic Parmesan seasoning...super yummy. Deliveries via door dash have been prompt, hot, and contain the full and personalized order. Big fan, love the complimentary seasoned crust. Never too greasy, and always correctly made to order. It's the extra effort that separates them from their competition. I've eaten this after a fun night and sober, it holds up both times. read more

This pizza is NY competition for sure. Best pizza in DMV hands down! A slice is like $2.39. Nice people great service. Steady stream of customers in and out so it looks like they do more pick up and delivery. But theres one booth in the corner and I suggest you park it and have a nice hot slice its worth it! read more

We have been customers of this place for years and they have the best pizza and best customer service around. Always hot and fresh and quick delivery. The sauce is amazing read more

They have amazing pizza and the subs are pretty good. However their customer service is pretty bad. Every time I talk with them it's like they have such a bad attitude and couldn't care less that you're ordering from them. I've had better customer service experiences from government agencies and that's saying something. But the food is great which is why I still eat there. They are a bit pricey but generally worth it. read more

Pictures don't do it justice, I can only speak for the pizza, which is banging. For those looking for some good thin crust cheesy buttery crust goodness look no further. Capri down the street is different style but also some good pizza. read more

Mr Pizza & Subs - That's our Imported Ham and there was only 4 little pieces on the whole pizza! You couldn't even taste it!! - Pizza Near Me - Glen Burnie, Maryland

My wife has ordered multiple pizzas over the years, they're always thin and crispy. When I showed up to get the pizza and nice young man said you mean extra crispy? I had never heard of an extra crispy pizza, they aren't KFC. When I asked them to correct my order the gentleman in charge, I'm not sure if he was the owner or manager, told me maybe your wife is stupid. Wow! Great way to do business Mr. pizza. I will never spend one cent with you, even if I am starving. read more

Lets start with the food: - The biggest wings I have literally ever seen - More flavor variety than Buff Wild Wings - Chai Peanut flavor was amazing - Included celery was fresh, crunchy, and green And the other stuff: - Great prices - No delivery charge - Polite phone skills - Included napkins & silverware in delivery bag What more are you looking for?! read more

The delivery was fast and very polite. The Cheese Steak Subs are good and flavorful My daughter lovers the amount of fries :) read more

We are regulars. We eat here 3-4 times a month. Pizza never disappoints. Subs are good, need just a little more meat. But they are good. The delivery folks are always quick and friendly. read more

I called this shop by mistake instead of the one in Pasadena and the girl on the phone was so miserable and rude that I wasn't even mad it was the wrong number. She seriously had the worst attitude problem. If I had the right place, this girl would have made me change my mind. read more

I wish I could leave no stars. There was hair in my sandwich and I called to let them know and they asked me what type of hair and then what color then proceeded to say there is nobody there with that color hair. She did not even apologize. Don't do business here. Service is horrible. read more

Mr. Pizza is a great place to get good pizza. The people there a courteous. And they remember what you have orders in the past, you can say give me the usual and they will have it. read more

Mr. Pizza is our favorite place to order from. Never disappoints. Generous portions and food is always great.

We eat here pretty often and have for many years. The food is always decent, not greasy, made the way we ask and ready quickly. We usually stick to the sub deals and a cheese pizza, simple and easy for a night I don't feel like cooking! I would recommend the chicken filet sub and fries. read more

I've been hesitant to leave a review only because I really enjoy their wings and pizza. Enough is enough though when it comes to customer service and how you speak to people it means everything for your business. When attempting to place an order over the phone a middle aged male answered the phone. I was speaking clear and loud being they close in a hour, I wanted to make sure I was efficient. He was rushing me with my order and then pretended to not hear me. Instead of asking me politely to repeat myself instead he thought yelling "hello...hello" instead. I've had no trouble with service in my bedroom so I knew he was acting like he couldn't hear me. Long story short I'll never order from them again. I found a new spot thanks to speaking with a friend who lives in the Glen burnie area and had similar experience with this location. Today is November 5th & I just attempted to place my order of wings at 10:05p. Nothing personal at all but customers have to know how they could be treated if they decide to spend money. read more

Hadn't been in for a while, but had another errand nearby and thought I'd give it another try. I remembered that they'd had pretty good pizza in the past, and have a $7.99 14" cheese special posted on their window, so I picked one up to take home. It was not as good as I remember. It wasn't BAD, it just didn't blow me away. I do like the garlicy butter they use on the crust, but the flavor of the sauce was a bit bland. The staff were friendly, service was fast, and the price was good. Just need to improve the sauce and they'll be back on top. read more

I will never go here again. This was my second time here and while the food is ok the people working were horrible. The girl working had terrible attitude and was yelling at the cooks in the back. She left a phone I customer on hold for a long time and started cursing at the cooks in the back when they suggested she pick up the phone. There are to many other pizza places to deal with cursing and yelling when trying to pick up food. Even if this was the best pizza ever I will never go back due to the rude service and uncomfortable feeling I had while hearing the employees fight with each other. STAY AWAY! read more

My favorite place to order from. My friend tried it and told me about it. Now me and all my friends order from here. It is the best pizza place by far. The food is great the people are polite and friendly and they deliver crazy fast. We have had the wings, subs, pizza, stromboli and fries. It's all awsome. They have the best fries with gravy too. Order from here and you won't be disappointed. Prices are great and the people are always friendly unlike other pizza places. They always get the orders perfect too. read more

I swear by this place everytime I'm in the area. Their pizza is amazing and they get your order out in 15 min! Best service and food around

Consistently excellent food, friendly, fast service with competitive prices. I know, I know, it's pizza and subs! Well, it's excellent pizza and subs! I can't remember the last time the food was wrecked or someone got nasty with me on the phone. I don't think it's ever happened. Always a great time. read more

After years of ordering from Mr Pizza, I am sorry to say the love affair is over. I don't know who is working in the back now but whoever it is needs to find a new profession! I have kept the faith that the food would return to it's spectacular best, but no such luck. Pizza came with way too much cheese, if you do not request doubling up on toppings you will be disappointed. Mr Pizza used to make an incredible cheese steak. Nope- not any more. I thought you melt the cheese on the steak, not the bread- one slice does not make cheese steak, nor does tiny bits of pepper and even littler bits of onion. While the staff is super friendly and the service is fast the food is just not cutting it. read more

The food here is absolutely terrible. The customer service is even worse. Leaving flyers on my door just makes it worse.

Decent food, decent prices. The employees are usually pretty nice when answering the phone.

I love this small mom and pop sub shop My family has ordered from here for many years and the food is and has always been amazing the pizza is off the chain always and when I'm in need to reminisce about my childhood the pizza never fails it still smells and taste the same hope they never change the recipe and the employees are the good kinda funny crazy always a comedy show when you pick up WE LOVE YOU GUYS STAY GOLD MR PIZZA AND SUBS ON HOSPITAL DRIVE read more

It's a shame to say this, but the food and service as a whole have gone down at Mr. Pizza & Subs. Their pasta and pizza sauce taste as though they're straight from the can - minus the massive amounts of grease. I've also ordered cheesesteak and meatball subs. The steak meat was very lacking in salt and pepper, a portion of it so over cooked it was crunchy. The meatballs, however, did have good flavor. On my last order, I called in to pick up. Upon arrival, I stood at the counter waiting for nearly 10 minutes, while employees passed me, glancing at me, but never even acknowledging they had a customer. After finally paying for my order, I asked if my sodas were in the bag as well. The employee pointing to the fridge, before turning his back. No bag, no thank you. Not the worst experience I've ever had, but far from the best. That, plus the lacking quality of food, is why I've given such a low rating. read more

I normally hate delivery food but there are times that you are just too tired to have to cook lol. This is the only place I order from. Definitley better than the average delivery place. Same type of food but just much more flavor. Today (after 4 long days of traveling for work) I ordered a calzone. It was absolutely delicious. The crust was more garlic bread than plain pizza dough and lots of filling. Delivery times are always under 20 minutes and food is always hot when I get it. Staff is always nice! read more

I called and ordered a steak and cheese with extra cheese I don't think they put any cheese and I think $18 for one sub and a order of french fries is pretty pricey but then again maybe there was a delivery charge that they didn't bother to tell me about. I will give them one more chance but next time I'm going to pick it up if it's still $18 I won't be back I can get much better for a reasonable price don't mind paying good money for something but I'm not going to pay 50% above the average especially for below-average food . read more

Wow...was I impressed. First time I have ever ordered from Mr Pizza after placing my order on the phone...the man changed my order slightly for me and I not only saved money but got a lot more for my money. It was there on time...30 minutes and the pizza was delicious as well as the meatball sub. I tried the fries because everyone is raving about them but to me they were just good...not great. I will be ordering from Mr Pizza again! read more
