We truly cannot speak highly enough of Smoke & Pickles!…read more Our guests are still talking about "the best wedding food they've ever had" 3 months later, and we can't argue with them. Beyond creating an incredibly bespoke and personal menu for us (with plenty of GF and veggie options!) Sally was instrumental to the process. She helped us book all of our rentals (tent, flatware, plates, tables, etc) and she was always there for advice and to offer suggestions based on her experience. She met with us at PEAK to pick out our tableware, she gave us great suggestions for anything else we needed to rent, coordinated all the setup both on Friday and our actual wedding day, and was so prompt in her replies via email or phone. We could not have pulled it off without her expertise! We would have ended up spending a lot more money overall if we didn't have her guidance. And of course the food was amazing. I loved the fact that it was all local and in-season! Sustainability was very important when picking our vendors, so I appreciated the attention to detail, the composting, and support of local farmers and growers. Plus we got to take home the leftovers! Win/win/win. Lastly, the whole team truly cares about the process. They don't just throw food in pans on the table, but craft such gorgeous tablescapes that look like they fit in perfectly with the rest of the event. Handmade pottery, flowers, cutting boards...its beautiful to look at, AND to eat! If you need a caterer to deliver the BEST food and support your wedding or event - Smoke and Pickles is your team.

Oh, and the food. People are still talking about it ( "those lobster rolls! "That beef!" "Those FISH!") The menu was simple, fresh, and spectacular. And the service was impeccable. The staff was friendly and everything seemed custom (they collected guests empty glasses in baskets for instance). If you're considering using S and P for an event, in my mind, the decision is made. In Sally we not only met a caterer but we made a friend.

A friend told be you cannot go wrong with Ralph's catering in Cranston. I have to admit she was right. Mia the scheduler returned my call very fast and immediately emailed their product. But the big surprise was the night of the event not only was the food more than we imagined but the staff was polite and genuinely seemed happy to help in anyway to make the occasion perfect. and it was - everyone raved over the food and the staff. I usually do not write reviews but thought if someone was confused and checking out several caterers and bartending services, like I was thought sharing my experience may help.

I worked with the owner, Dave, to coordinate and figure out a menu and all the details (and I had a LOT of details for him!). He and his manager Tyler made it happen and it went off without a hitch. Not only did they cater a 100 guest buffet at an outdoor venue at a park in October, but they made food that was not even normally on their menu. We had asked if they could make some specialty Greek food for our wedding (my Wife's family is Greek), and Dave enthusiastically took it on. For weeks after the wedding, our guests kept mentioning how delicious all the food was. Even my wife's side of the family, who know authentic Greek food. We had souvlaki, rice with tomato sauce, potatoes with oregano, "village" Greek salad, and a bunch of other delicious items. Of course we had to include the world famous potato chips w warm gorgonzola gravy (which is on their normal menu). Warning! That gorg gravy is addictive. The food was absolutely what we wanted, the service was exquisite, and the presentation was super sexy! I highly recommend TCG for your event, big or small!

I would so like to have given the food from this restaurant five stars. Unfortunately I placed this…read moreorder to be delivered on Saturday which was the day before Valentine's Day. It was breakfast, lunch and dinner for two that was restaurant style food. Mike loves to go out to dinner and really misses that kind of food. So I thought that this would be a special thing for him and when I explained it to him after he really thought it was a great idea. Unfortunately the food was supposed to come Saturday between one and four in the afternoon and it didn't. So I went out and bought seafood and a bunch of desserts and goodies that he likes so that he would have something on Valentine's Day as the meals were his gift. So I spent a lot of money on the seafood and other goodies and lo and behold on Valentine's Day, which was the next day, we went out in the morning for a drive. When we got back there was a box on the front step from Edible Creations. I don't know how long it was out there but fortunately it was a cold day so we weren't worry about food spoiling. Unfortunately we had seafood to cook and eat while it was still fresh. We took the meals and desserts from and put them in our back hallway which is quite cold. And we took the next couple of days to eat all of it despite the fact that we did have leftover seafood so it was kind of a little mixed up thing going on. I have to say that that food I ordered was absolutely delicious. The quantity of food as far as the meal sizes was amazing. I ordered two breakfasts which included pancakes, sausage, eggs and home fries. It was perfect for a meal for one. Mike ate part of mine which is typical and he really enjoyed the breakfast. After breakfast we had cinnamon rolls that I had ordered. Mike is a big fan of cinnamon rolls. These were absolutely amazing. And they were six full-size cinnamon rolls. When I ordered six and I think that was the minimum you could order I expected to have small catered buffet size pastries. They instead were a full-size cinnamon roll covered in caramel and nuts. He was absolutely crazy about them and I liked them as well. I ordered him a chicken pot pie for lunch. I don't like chicken pot pie but he loves it so this was a great way for me to get him what he likes without having to cook it. It was a full 9 inch or 10 inch pie. It was about 2 inches thick and so thick that it took ages in the oven at a low heat for it to heat through, it was fully cooked. For dessert for his lunch I ordered apple turnovers. Again I was expecting to get small catered size turnovers which would've been fine because I had to order six again. They were full size turnovers and they were just incredible. I didn't expect to get this much food in this quality of food not having tried them before. And for dinner I ordered Thanksgiving dinner for Mike which he loves and chicken Parm and pasta for me. They were two full meals. I ate some of mine for dinner and Mike ate the rest of the following day. I had to cut up the chicken pot pie and put it into meal size bags in the freezer so that Mike could take them out and enjoy them whenever he wanted them. The quality of the food was absolutely amazing. I can't say it enough. And the price was just incredible. With tax it was $117 for all of that oh and I forgot the individual cheesecakes that we got for dessert after dinner. I ordered those separately and they were delicious. If you order more than $50 worth they will deliver for free and they only deliver three days a week so you have to be careful for that. Their website is easy to negotiate. I just wish there was some communication. They didn't deliver it the day they were supposed to and they never notified me. They delivered it the next day and left it on the front step not even knowing if I was going to be home. Not one word have I heard from them since then apologizing for the delay. I just don't understand it. But I would definitely sort this out and order from them again and again and again.
