    Beef pho $13
    Joanna H.

Cute, clean, communal restaurant with friendly staff. Beef pho cost $13 and was a huge serving with good proportions of all ingredients; the beef chunks were large, thin and tender and there were oodles of noodles which were super silky. Crispy, hot pork and prawn spring rolls come in 3's for $7. Great interior with small tables for 2 or larger tables for groups. Restaurant is situated across from Mascot train station though parking is a bit tricky as most streets surrounding are one way. Cheap, easy and comforting!

Great place for having a quick Vietnamese dinner. Pork ribs were really too fat but Pho soup was amazing. I also loved the place, really nicely arranged! Service was Ok, as you could expect from an asian fast-food restaurants

The so called fried rice, was basically some rice with a few bits of I think it may have been the ends of shallots and of course I had to pay for some prawns in it. They would have made at least $19 on the rice alone. What an utter wrought. A take away for me is somewhat of a luxury these days and not something I indulge myself in very much at all. What a rotten way to run a business not giving a f.......... about customers or how they spoil their meals. Shame on the Chef and the owners. Paying $50 for two items and neither were edible is a darn disgrace in anyones eyes. Sad thing is, they all keep getting away with it.

We really had no idea what to get, so ordered a full order of steamed pork dumplings, a chicken pancake, and a order of fried noodle with beef. Everything came out as it was ready and was piping hot, perfect for the cool evening. The chicken pancake was my favorite, it reminded me of a burrito but with a delicate wrap. The noodles and dumplings were also very good! In what I believe is northern Chinese fashion, both had a slightly thicker feel than I am used to but I loved how it gave the noodles such a unique chew and made the dish feel so substantial. This is definitely worth a visit if you are in the Sydney area, but do not confuse it with Chinese Noodle Restaurant next door!

I looked yo book online, several times were open so several of us walked about 2km, passed by 100s of great restaurants to find Chin Chins closed for a private function. Instead of having an amazing meal we had to find a pub that was still serving food and an ok dinner. I doubt I'll ever come back!!

But it definitely got a lot more crowded after 7pm and the music was pretty loud. The vibe overall was amazing though! The food was definitely the highlight of the visit! We ordered the pork belly drunken noodle and BBQ King Salmon wrapped in banana leaf. I love the mixture of flavors and how good it was! We also ordered the crispy salt and pepper bug tails from the large plate and it was really tasty! I love the balance of the flavors in all the food! I didn't order the drinks, but my friends did and they said it was really good too! It was more on the sweeter side, but overall, was still really good! This place is definitely worth the hype! Go and visit them while you're in Sydney!
