Oh my gosh. How have I not know this place existed sooner?! They have a whole separate dedicated gluten free menu. And it's HUGE. I've never seen so many options to eat anywhere. Sandwiches. Pasta. Breakfast. They have French toast!! To non-gf people it might not seem like much, but this was the most normal I have felt eating out in so long. My server was amazing. She had one of the owners come over and explain they have dedicated fryers, grill tops, and prep space for gf foods. I got mozz sticks (because I couldn't resist) a Turkey BLT club, and tots. I love this place. I love the Swedish meatballs they have, which is what I usually get. The Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken was excellent! My girlfriend got a Philly steak sub which was good. The staff is also super friendly and has been every time we have come here, and I don't think I really ever go a minute without being offered a refill. They did however, run out my chocolate cream pie. But that's okay, I still love them anyways . They are always clean too which is a huge plus in my book. I have Ciliac so finding restaurants that are truly gluten free is tough. When I asked for a gluten free menu I was shocked to have, not a one sheet piece of paper with a few items typed on it, but a 3 PAGE laminated full menu all gluten free. Oh the choices!!!! The staff was incredible. One of the managers came out and explained their separate kitchen system so I could be completely assured there would not be cross contamination. When the waiter brought out our order I noticed my plate was in a separate hand being kept away from my gluten eating friend's plates. AND, the French Toast was soooooo good. My friend and I both drove 40 minutes to meet at Mr Mike's Grill based on the gluten free menu and the rave reviews of their gluten free dishes. And they did not disappoint! First off, the owner came over and talked to us about their dedicated fryers and equipment for the gluten free dishes. She also said that if we had additional allergies such as dairy they would try to work with us as best as they could. The gluten free menu was huge! They stopped serving breakfast by the time we arrived at 1pm but we already decided to come back to try it. I ordered a chicken quesadilla while my friend ordered the chicken tenders with crinkle fries. The quesadilla was delicious, I couldn't tell the difference with the tortilla. It was a little crispy around the edges in a good way. My cousin loved the chicken tenders. I ended up getting their gluten free pierogis to go. They were so good! Was in the neighborhood visiting someone and I needed a breakfast place. Glad I chose this one. Staff was super friendly and courteous. I tried the Polish breakfast which consisted of eggs, potato pancakes and a slice of kielbasa. Definitely the right choice. I would definitely return if I ever fond myself back on this side of town. This place isn't like a normal coney or grille restaurant. It's amazing ! My daughter loves the Buffalo chicken and claims to be the professional taste tester for all restaurants:) (she's not, but she's a teenager who's incredibly picky) try their chili and put it on anything! My husband and I ventured here for lunch one day. This restaurant has been around for quite some time and appears to have several regulars. The waitress was nice and attentive and quickly took our order. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. The dish could have been better in my opinion. The meatballs were from frozen, and there wasn't enough sauce on the spaghetti. I asked for more sauce and added a little sweetener and topped with some parmesan. The spaghetti definitely tasted better. My husband had the chicken quesadilla with rice. He didn't have any issues with the quesadilla. The chicken was plentiful and well seasoned. He was disappointed with the rice. It was just plain unseasoned white rice. He expected something similar to rice side dish at mexican restaurant. I started getting a craving for prime rib a few weeks ago because I hadn't had any for months so I looked on Yelp to see if I could find any places around that weren't terribly expensive and offered prime rib. This place popped up and when I skimmed through the reviews and pictures I found a reference to them having prime rib. I drove past it on a Monday and saw the sign in the window that said they had prime rib on the weekend so obviously I was too late until this next weekend. I still had the craving so I went to another place that I found, Richards restaurant, which had a prime rib sandwich for $9.99 with two sides and a huge slab of prime rib. I was very happy with what I got but still wanted to come in and try the prime rib here. I called and asked how much it was and was told they had three sizes portions which ranged from $13 or $14 and up. I didn't remember to come here the next weekend but the weekend after I did come on a Friday night and while the prime rib was good, it was cooked more medium than rare even though I asked for medium rare, which usually comes out pretty pink. See my photo. I'm sure it was prime rib but it came across more like a tender steak then a slab of prime rib. I didn't complain because the meat had good flavor and was tender but the size didn't seem any bigger than what I had gotten Richards for three or four dollars less. The meal also came with a choice of potato or rice and I chose the rice which was nothing special. There was no vegetable. There was a choice of soup or salad and I got the lemon rice soup which was fine. It also came with garlic bread which was one of the best garlic breads I've had my whole trip. I liked this place is fine and the service was good but I would probably stick with the other place because of the proximity and price. In fact I did get back to Richards one other time and was just as happy with my prime rib the second time as I had been the first. read more
