Really delicious (I'm from Buffalo so I can attest to its quality, despite it not using bleu cheese, which I actually appreciated) and definitely something I would order again. I got the chicken caesar salad, which came with some tasty croutons and fairly large parmesan shavings, and was again impressed. One of my coworkers got a taco trio, which looked really tasty, and then my other coworker and I split the BBQ chicken flatbread, which was also fantastic. We were able to get some seats outside on their really nice outdoor patio, though the interior had a lot of nice looking seating accommodations of all sorts as well, none of which felt like it was cramped or busy by any means. The Dill Pickle Chips were great; lightly breaded, not too heavy, and well cooked! They came with jalapeño ranch, which I didn't try. The fries were okay and the smash burger was great! It might have had too many onions on it, but they were good and the cheese was nice and melted, but not dripping all over the plate. The tavern is housed in a historic building that is over 100 years old. The building itself was worth the trip. The food, however, was the real highlight. I had an exceptionally good Shepherds Pie while my wife enjoyed the Irish Kettle dinner that came with corned beef, bangers, rashers. Cabbage, and potatoes cooked in a Guinness based broth. It was outstanding. Service was very good. It was a delightful evening.
