We asked for our money and our parts. We were not able to get a refund. Only after we made it clear we would not leave the shop without our parts, we were able to at least get our parts so that we could try to fix it our self which we did. I texted, but received a text back saying that I was probably looking for the person's son, and should text this other number. I texted the other number, and after some back and forth, Mike (or Mike's son? I'm really not sure) he described what he believed the dryer's problem to be, quoted a price, and we scheduled an appointment. The communication/scheduling process was quite strange and overly complex. However, he was prompt, worked quickly and efficiently, and was very kind and considerate. The dryer's working again! He said that he would text me a payment link at some vague time in the future, which was once again strange. I mean it certainly worked out, but it's an odd, disorganized way to conduct business. Really odd to be on two extreme ends of the service spectrum like that.
