Very professional! I had my pants tailored and a notch added to my belt. Services were completed within the day at the agreed time and received in excellent condition. I now have a pair of pants and a belt that feels secure around my hips and waist, and the hems of the pant legs were shortened perfectly. Will recommend to others and visit again for tailoring services. read more

Great quality work. I expect nothing less from someone who's been doing this for over 40 years. Mr Luis is attentive, kind, skilled, and gives fair pricing. He works from a home office, so he's able to support longer hours and give competitive pricing. The home office also includes a private dressing area, so you're able to try on the items before and after. The item that was tailored was a rayon dress, purchased from a consignment shop. the elastic had been pulled out from the shoulders, and the bodice was too large. He cut down the bodice to fit much better, and even ensured the elastic on the shoulders was cut so I could bring down the shoulders and wear it like a strapless dress. Great forethought on his part! I'm definitely bringing future items to Mr. Luis. read more

Amazing work! Very knowledgeable about the style and what the fit should be. He made the suit look even more expensive and the turn around was fast. Will be returning with other pieces that need some work. read more

Amazing tailoring service, so quick, so clean so fresh! Been here 3 times already and definitely taking more clothes soon

I suggested this place to my husband and I regret it. The first red flag was when he said I looked like my husband's mother, and he was not joking. I looked past it and kept encouraging my husband to use him, until I had to deal with the man in person. I don't know what his problem with me was, but do not bring your stuff here. I dropped off my husband's shirts and the owner was rude to me from the start. When I came back the next morning with a sample shirt, he pushed me for money before he had sewn a single stitch. No courtesy, no customer service, just demands. I decided to take the shirts elsewhere because four days for a basic stitch is slow and he was extremely overpriced. When I came to pick them up he yelled at me on the street, in front of my child, and told me not to come back, all because I chose to go somewhere else after how he treated me. I was polite every single time. Yelling at a woman with her child standing there tells you what you need to know about this business. There are shops nearby that charge less and treat people like customers. Go to one of them. read more

Needed a last minute emergency alteration for a wedding. Bridesmaid switch 4 hours before a wedding. I called him and he stated that he'll do what he could. Showed up and it took him 15 minutes plus he steamed the dress made sure there was no wrinkles. Very friendly and a good price considering the emergency. Lifesaver. Thank you. Your reviews speak for themselves. read more

Mr Luis got my two suits ready within 1 day. Amazing Job and very happy with how they came out

I know inflation has hit everyone, but wow! $65 for bottom dress hem and shoulder strap adjustment is pretty steep. My usual place charges $20 for each of these but were fully booked, so being in a pinch and after reading several great reviews, I decided to come to Mr. Luis. My biggest issue is this mans very dry bland attitude from beginning to end. He comes off as very rude and like you are bugging him with your business. I also had an issue where my dress was stained in several places straight out of the bag and when I mentioned this to Mr. Luis, I was hit with extremely defensive phone call about how in 30+ years they have never had a complaint like this and I stained it myself. It looked like someone was eating fries while completing the alterations. That's what I get for not trying it on in the shop before leaving. Lesson learned. Will your clothing be tailored correctly, yes, but don't expect any type of warm welcoming treatment from someone you are about to hand your money to. read more

Wish I could zero stars...Mr. Luis is beyond RUDE, over priced to a ridiculous amount much higher than a normal shop and above all the "back yard " shop he runs his business in is a DISCUSTING MESS!!!!(Bugs included...) Do not be fooled by his positive reviews ....This business is beyond bad. Wasted my time, and gas to get there only to be completely and totally disappointed. I don't even know how his sewing ability is....could not leave my clothing there. GOOD GRIEF! read more

Mr Luis is a true professional, I needed my pants hemmed on a Sunday and not many tailors were open and the ones that were open were a bit expensive. I called Mr Luis and he said come now, I went and got my pants hemmed in 10 minutes, I am quite happy with his work. Thanks, I will for sure come back! read more

Looked online for a tailor near me and this business came up. Hours of the business said it was open and was 9 minutes away. I needed 2 pairs of jeans hemmed so I drove there only to realize once I got there it is a house address. Ok, no problem, maybe this guy works out of his house. Weird, but ok. Called 2 times from out front and no answer. Waste of time. 20 minutes later, after I drove away, he calls me back and tells me it's appointment only. So, beware it's a business out of someone's house AND it's appointment only. Nowhere on the Google listing does it state either one. Waste of time. read more

Had an absolutely terrible experience at this place!! Do not come here! The trim was NOT good. I came here because my pants are too long and he didn't even trim them short enough so that my pants won't fall to the floor!! He was late for 20min for our agreed pick up time and blamed ME for showing up at 5:30pm instead of 6pm when we AGREED to meet at 6! I mean! If you can't make it at 5:30pm why agree to it IN THE FIRST PLACE??!! There was also no apology! This place is horrible. Period. He is rude as hell too!!!!! read more

Luis tailored pants and a sequin shirt for me that I needed in a timely manner for a video shoot. He adjusted everything just as requested, and on time. Totally recommend him for reasonable pricing and excellent tailoring. Thanks, Luis! read more

had a button up tailor which was an XL before and had made it into a cropped medium the way I wanted it. I loved it! would recommend!

This was my first time getting anything tailored. I called Mr Luis and he responded back to me and took care of me within 10 minutes! Not only was he quick at responding but he told me it would be done in 2 days just to get a call in 1 day saying it was done early! This man was very kind and very helpful. Will definitely come back to do more and I recommend anyone else to come here and get their items tailored. Thank you Mr Luis! read more

Great customer service and quick turnaround. So far, I've used Mr. Luis a couple of times and I haven't been disappointed. I needed alterations on a dress for the next day and he came through. Mr Luis is the best! He has great customer service and great clean work and best of all time efficient! Every time he doesn't disappoint. I have referred a few family member to him and the all love his work. Definitely recommend! read more

Super convenient for me as his a block away. However, he definitely needs to work on his customer service. I had no issue picking up at his time however he came off as rude about it.He should also learn to be a little more flexible with his pick up times , 6pm only is not feasible for everyone and if you can't make it that day and can the next it shouldn't be too big of an issue. He is super dry and bland when, I went to pick up not so much as a smile and I tried to have a convo and he just sent me on my way lol I would say I go to most of my places because of convenience and customer service. He definitely lacks the customer service part. read more

Mr. Luis is by far a superior tailor! I had a two pairs of pants that another spot had done terribly wrong. Mr. Luis was able to do a same day service and fix both pairs in less than 1 hr! They are now 100% perfect fit. I will definitely be using him in the future and refer others read more

Luis (known to me as Armando) is a great and professional tailor. My suits have great fits & in my business that is always a super plus! I highly recommend him for any of your tailoring and alteration needs! Did you know in addition to this, that he is in high demand from some of our fave Hollywood stars!!?? Tis true! Thanks Luis for always being so professional and the quality work! read more

The job was completed, but the prices were above average and it wasn't worth the extra coordination it takes to arrange a meeting with someone working from their home. I chose a home business expecting to sacrifice the convenience of a storefront (consistent shop hours, customer service) to save some money on the work, but it was more expensive than what a chain business charges and less customer service. read more

Great response time. Turnaround time was quick-2days. Left voicemail in the late evening received call back early the next morning.. Quality of work was excellent. Would rate 5 star if it wasn't for the limited and dry in person interaction. read more

Ok soooooooooooo. I asked for a dress to be shortened, taken in on the sides at the bottom to give it the mermaid look, and have straps adjusted. He charged me 110 bucks. Not to mention when I picked up the dress it still had safety pins all on the side of it because the dress was not finished! I drove back to him and he said to give him half an hour. I was pleasant with him because he apologized and I was ok with it. It was a new dress that had tags attached. The tags were up by the arm where there was no work needed. I've never had a tailor take off the tags and throw them away. Ever. I wanted to keep the tags JuST In CaSE. So anyways he didn't offer a discount or anything for my dress being given back to be without the work done on it. The straps he measured at the place were cut too short. Im so disappointed and feel ripped off. I'll never ever go to him again. I'm giving two stars and not one because his sister and him are nice people. Sorry Mr. Luis but don't tell me that people never ask for the tags back. I'm not people. Every tailor doesn't rip them off. 110 bucks! For simple work. I think because I was a new client he tried to get the most out of me. read more

I want to start by saying a big thank you to Mr. Luis! I tend to procrastinate and I was in need of a last minute alteration. Mr. Luis was the only tailor in my area with 5 Star reviews and I can see why now. The reviews speak for his work. Mr. Luis was very professional, understood what I was looking to get done and knew the time frame i was working with. Overall, the work and service from Mr. Luis was exceptional. I highly recommend anyone in need of alterations to get it in touch with Mr. Luis. Thank you again! read more
