Nothing is more nerve-racking than having a new, AMAZE fitting suit that you need for a wedding (that you're a groomsman in and is less than a week out) tailored at a new-to-you dry cleaner/tailor. Maybe shame on me for not having a local go-to cleaner already, right? A bit dramatic you say? Maybe, but being vertically-challenged, that was the exact situation I found myself in a few months ago - These great fitting dress pants I just picked up and needed for a wedding, needed new hems and fast! After calling around to a handful of cleaners and being told 'No, our tailor is only here during weekdays, between 8a and 3p', I landed on Granada Hills Cleaners. When I asked about getting pants tailored, the man (I would find out later is the owner/operator) said 'Sure, bring them in...' So that's what I did, mid-afternoon on a Saturday! When I walked through the door, Mike saw the dress pants in my hand and said '28 or 29 inseam? I think 29 would be better, you don't want them to be too short and remember you're gonna have shoes on too so they will sit just right.' He was friendly and even humored me and let me put on the pants and shoes so he could measure my inseam - And wouldn't you know it, he was right on and showed me the tape. As soon as I saw that, Mike had earned a customer! I had the newly hemmed pants within a few days and the whole suit was cleaned and looking super sharp with plenty of time to spare! Since then, we've taken shirts and dresses for cleaning/pressing and other pants for hems and they've all come out great! If you're looking for a friendly, dependable local cleaner/tailor, go see Mike at Granada Hills Cleaners... You won't be disappointed! read more

Great prices but sometimes they just press your clothes and call them clean. I had a top that had a but of mustard. When I got it back it was still uncleaned (mustard I could puck off with my fingernail) but well pressed. read more

I have been knowing Mike for years and years lol! This is the ONLY cleaners that my whole family will go to hands down! Mike is like family. He has furnished custom blinds to my our home and his prices seem to never change! He does excellent work! I recommended everyone to go to GHC!! read more

I brought here 5 jackets for dry cleaning. The price given was fair and reasonable, and they were ready on time! The owner was nice and approachable as well. Will go back for all our dry cleaning needs! read more

Very reasonable prices; nice owner. My blouse cost $4 here as opposed to $16 at Fazio!

This review is strictly related to alterations. I was in a pinch and needed to get a few items altered for my honeymoon. Since this dry cleaners was so close to my home I figured to give it a try. When I first inquired about getting my outfits altered the male owner asked me how much I needed the items taken in. I gave him a rough estimate for each item and he said why don't you come back when my wife is here. So I waited the seven hours and returned to deal with his wife. Right from the start, she was not friendly but had me try on each item and pinned it with safety pins to my desired fit. The initial process of pining my clothes went seamless but it wasn't until she wrote my ticket up that I knew I was being screwed. I was completely shocked at her pricing. I had a few items that needed about an inch taken in at the bust and waist area. I was completely shocked by the amount, but since I needed the items to be done before my honeymoon and didn't have time to shop around for another alteration place I paid the ridiculous amount. Worst part was that after I picked up my items (a day before my honeymoon) some of them were still too big. I have attached a photo of their pricing for my articles of clothing. I had one long dress that needed the hem taken up about an inch and one strap repaired. I also had one strapless dress and jumper that needed to be taken in. The total for the three items came to $64.50!! Simply ridiculous since this job required minimal work to be done. Just go somewhere else. read more

Granada Hills Cleaners - Laundry Services Near Me - Granada Hills, California

For being in business for so long you should be able to take out simple stains. I came home and took them off with toothbrush

There is no better place to take any clothing item for cleaning. I've taken silks, wools, linens, and just about any fabric I can think of to be cleaned, and everything comes out beautifully and nicely pressed. Fast, friendly and dependable service! Been going there for many years with very high end items to everyday items. I'm NEVER disappointed, and there is no one else that can top the price and workmanship then them! read more

This is a family, locally owned and operated business. I've been using Granada Hills Cleaners since I moved to this neighborhood in 2008. I've occasionally used other cleaners, but I always come back to this place because they give the best service, they're the friendliest, and their prices are very reasonable. The owner is a very nice and honest person. He knows all of his clients and remembers them by name. It's always nice to have a little chat with him and get to know about his lovely family. They also do wonderful and precise alterations at a good price. They are absolutely the BEST! read more

My favorite cleaners ever. Best prices and the owner Mike is an amazing down to earth dude. He remembered my car and had my shirt out ready before i even stepped into the building to pick it up! Just wow read more

The proprietor is always in the store as far as I have experienced, he's friendly and loves to provide great service, I went in for a tailor and he told me it would cost more than just moving the buttons. While I would have refused had it been a formal jacket, but even then it's fairly priced. He moved my buttons on my cheap summer jacket and provided a cleaning and starching to boot! Two days, awesome fit, clean jacket, nothing better. read more

They do a good job. I've been coming here for about 10 years and never have I had any issues. I typically take my suits, shirts, and nicer jeans and they continue to look like new, so I'm happy with the service. Overall, I recommend :) read more

If you need good dry cleaning at a fair price, Granada Hills Cleaners is for you. Pros: Their prices are extremely competitive. Clothes are nicely presented when picked up. The owner is very knowledgeable. Cons: Getting in and out of the parking lot absolutely sucks since they opened a DMV in the same shopping center. The owner can be a bit grumpy. All in all, a solid choice for dry cleaning services! read more

I've came here twice, with what I thought were impossible missions. The first was my prized Babe Ruth jersey, I accidentally stained it with proxy. Brought it here and they removed the stain! Thank you! To make things crazier, candle wax fell on my denim jacket and I did the mistake of trying to scrub it, my jacket was a horrible mess. Brought it here hoping they'd take it, and they did. Returned 2 days later and it was brand new, better then before! Will continue coming here, awesome staff! read more

Mike is a great guy and offers stupendous service. All my clothes were perfectly clean. I have found my new dry cleaner!

After going to this cleaners and experiencing their outstanding customer service I don't think I will ever be able to go to another dry cleaners again. I needed my husbands suit done last minute and out of the 8 different places I called they were the only one who considered doing it for me. They treat you like family and thats very rare to find. read more

Just an awesome dry cleaners. Been going for years and won't go anywhere else. I tried Kenns and just felt ripped off. Mike is the owner and he knows his customers by name and greets you when you come in - love that kind of hospitality. I have to say, I am so impressed with Granada Hills Cleaners that I have to write a review to show my appreciation to Mike the owner, besides being friendly he is the best at his profession.
