Do not purchase a new vehicle from Toyota of Fox Lake. They advertise the SmartPath price but then…read moreadd on a $2495 Pro Pack Protection. They'll tell you it's a lifetime appearance protection warranty but when you review the paperwork after purchase you'll see it's only a 5 year Assurant warranty. If you make the unfortunate mistake of purchasing a vehicle here, make sure you do a walk around before you leave the lot. When we got home we found a large, deep scratch that wasn't on the vehicle before they took it to apply the ceramic coating. We also found paint defects they should have found while applying the coating. When trying to cancel the Pro Pack Protection I was told I cannot cancel it but they'll throw in a $20 paint pen so I can fix the scratch myself. While trying to remedy the situation they reached out via text after I called and left a message, I was then transferred from person to person and they would frequently not respond. Save yourself the frustration and purchase from a dealer that doesn't play these games. Edit: Hi Jennie, after being ignored then finally bounced to someone else I've still yet to receive a response.

This place is a joke. Ever since the new owners took over it's been terrible. I've been doing…read morebusiness with this dealership since 2011. Never had any issues. I've bought and sold multiple vehicles from this dealer. Back in January I brought my car in for an oil change which took over an hour and a half. When I went to say something the service manager gave me my keys and said I'll take care of the bill. I thought it was a nice gesture until I drove my car at night and noticed my headlights were pointed towards the ground and I could barely see ahead of me. When I finally got around to readjusting my headlights I noticed the passenger headlamp assembly completely broken. All mounts were broken. I hand wash my car all the time in the summer so I know for a fact that was never broken. When hand washing my car in the spring I noticed hundreds of stress cracks in my paint, on my bumper, just below the passenger headlight. Toyota hit something with my car and tried to hide it. They even adjusted my driver side headlight to match the broken passenger headlight. This dealership is the only place I take my car so I know they did it. When I called the general manager and asked if there were cameras in the service area he said he would check and call me back. Of course he never called me back. It's crazy to think they would risk losing a customer over a $300 headlamp. Do not do business with this very unprofessional company. My parents also just bought a brand new RAV 4 and they added something that my parents never agreed to. They were able to get a hold of the owner and a check was cut to make it right but because of their shenanigans they lost another customer. It's business decisions like this that make car buying so miserable. Stay away from this dealership. Nothing but sc artists.

The car needed the battery replaced less than 2 months after driving off the lot, the mechanic they have on site lied about what needed to be replaced. After bringing my car to a trusted mechanic, they found multiple leaks, broken hoses, worn brake pads, and THE INCORRECT SPARK PLUGS INSTALLED. After voicing my displeasure online, I have been harassed by management constantly calling my phone to the point where I had to block their number. They are crooks who aren't even competent at fixing cars.

I'm sorry to say but it dosent surprise me you can't find me in your records. I would love to come to a resolution but I know for a fact that it will take a lot of negotiations and time to get anywhere with Raymond Chevy on car repairs. 5 years ago I dealt directly with you on my wife's Kia that died at 98,000 miles. We brought the car in still 2000 miles under the warranty and the service department said that we have to do an oil consumption test that took us over the 100,000 miles mark and I was then told that the warranty was up and you could do nothing for us. It took me involving legal counsel to get Raymond Kia to honor the warranty and replace the engine. And yes I dealt directly with you sir. I am truly sorry to leave a review like I did but my review stands. Your service department is not trustworthy and honorable in how they take care of customers. And before anything else is said, yes my wife and I have purchased several cars from Raymond. We also will take our business for new cars elsewhere. If you would like to discuss, you have my information. Organize your records, find my contact information and call me. That is how good and quality customers service is supposed to work. Your customers shouldn't have to chase you down. I do still have your contact info as well as email but the ball is your court to fix this. Not mine.
