So this was two eggs with hash browns and sausage links but it was so good I ate it all before I thought about a picture.

Ok so long story short I had 3 hours to kill and nowhere else to go. One of the guys on base recommended this place so I checked it out. I had breakfast and lunch both during my stay here. The breakfast was ok. I got the 2 egg plate with hash browns and sausage links. The eggs were pretty good, hash browns could be cooked a little longer but the sausage links were fire. The service was great they are very attentive and even came by to give me more drink. Stopped several times to check on the food and myself. Lunch is what made this a 5 star. I ordered the steak quesadilla with fries. The fries were obviously fresh, hot, and had the perfect flavor. The steak quesadilla was on point. It had steak and other things I don't even know. It did have a little kick to it so if you are sensitive to heat I wouldn't get it. Overall I'm very satisfied with this place and would come back.

This is the updated menu. Taken on: 1/16/2025 They're prices have Doubled from the previous menu.

Grilled chicken pita w/ fries was good. Nice and hot. Outdoor/indoor dining. Service was good.

Don't think twice just come here. 10/10 all around! the food was amazing super tasty, service was awesome, and the ambiance is cozy. Keyara was a great server, super friendly. I ordered the steak pita because I saw a review recommending it and it was insanely good. My buddy ordered the burger and loved it. Next time I'm gonna try the flounder sand which! Thanks guys at Mr. Gs, god bless!

Mr g's is super underrated it is one of my favorite places to go for lunch. It's a small hole in the wall place with delicious food. I really love the philly steak pita, hamburger steak, and their hush puppies. The service and staff are always so nice and attentive. You order at the front sit down and they bring you the food. Overall one of my favorite go-tos for lunch.

This is a local place, quite honestly it's a little hole in the wall. Great food and prices here, for the most part the prices have not went increased when they first open. The owner may not be personable since he is really focus on taking orders, communicating with the kitchen and making sure everyone gets their food relatively quickly. The waiter/runner it's amazing, always checking on the customers to make sure the drinks are filled to the top, clean napkins are available because you can get drink with their crispy and spicy wings, burger or steak hoagie. If you are coming into Charlotte and are nearby the airport, you should definitely stop here.

Hidden Charlotte Gem. I was introduced to Mr G's recently and ordered a fried flounder sandwich with onion rings. It was so delicious!! Their service is quick and their waitress is really nice. I'd advise to call your order in if it is peak lunch hours during the work week bc it can get busy.

Lots of parking but I did have to do a U turn to get back to the restaurant. This was an old chain restaurant building so the drive through area isn't used. The building is dated and in need of repair but that isn't their fault as I am sure they are renting it. The food. Decent menu with steamed, grilled and fried options. I went with the small low country boil which was plenty. It was good. Could have soaked a bit if it was in fact boiled to pick up more of the flavor. I got a side bowl of gumbo. Interesting as it didn't come over rice. It was ok but let remember I worked in Louisiana for a decade plus so I can be a Cajun food snob. Service was awesome. Very friendly and the checked on me a couple of times. A huge majority of the customers get it to go. They have picnic tables inside to eat at and that is what I chose. Friendly service and decent food so a good option if in the area.

Highly recommend! Great food and very reasonable pricing for what you get! Now this is a low…read morecountry boil so it's not a saucy shrimp bowl (I forgot that). The food is made to order and very fresh. We got there about 30 minutes before closing but still received great service. We got the low country boil with shrimp potatoes and corn and subbed out sausage for more corn. The potatoes were cooked perfect which says a lot and the shrimp was delicious and corn on was not mushy. I have also gotten a fish sandwiche here and it was delicious. Definitely worth checking out !

First of all, to anyone who expects airport food to be Michelin quality, you need to get out more…read more This is a burger bar. It's not the best burger ever but as someone who has a fragile stomach when it comes to fast food - it's great! It hits the spot and doesn't interrupt my travels later. But what makes it the best is the incredible staff. It's a tough gig and they're friendly and fast. I've been here a couple of times and they are always on the ball with all the chaos that comes along with a restaurant at an international airport. And I need to add that today, one of my servers, Meghan, was above and beyond. She got everything ordered and served efficiently. Giving subtle tips when needed and was personable to boot! I'll definitely be back.

this was an ASTONISHINGLY good burger like wow…read more I knew what I was getting into when I saw the toppings, and decided to add a fried egg on top of it, but my goodness the one thing that I think could've been better about this burger were the buns - they were a bit too soft, which made them kind of blend in to the rest of the burger rather than stand out. also they might've been a bit too small to contain the rest of the burger. the only other thing I have is I wish there was a bit more mayo on here other than that, the inside of this burger was all-time good starting with the patty - this might be the best beef patty I've ever had in a burger It was so incredibly thick, thick enough that it rivals and maybe even surpasses the thickness of a double burger with two separate beef patties. In addition to that, I had the option to pick how I wanted it cooked - where I picked medium - and this was absolutely an incredible decision because this patty was so perfectly juicy without being too soft A lot of places will automatically cook your burger well-done for food safety reasons, but I'm really glad I was able to customize this to be medium - and this resulted in an unforgettable experience - especially when you think about how incredibly thick this was the bacon was also so good - it was incredibly crispy - and had deep flavor to it. I was quite impressed that the jalapeno bacon actually managed to have some spice to it. In addition, the pieces were large, and there were 6 of them in total, which meant each bite of the burger was given a beautiful-tasting crisp texture The fried egg added as a perfect topper to the patty - it was somewhat leaking, but combined so well with the rest of the burger to add just that additional soft egg-like flavor that I love. Giving props to myself on that fantastic addition even the lettuce and onions were really good in this burger! if all of this wasn't enough - it also came with a side of tater tots - and a lot of them While I wish these were warmer, and slightly more oily, I did absoutely love the crunch of the breading on these, along with the soft interior these tots were a great break from the traditional default fries that typically come with a burger i do wish they had their own dipping sauce rather than the default kraft mayo in a tube This meal was especially impressive because it didn't cost *that* much (about 20 dollars in total) but the portion size was quite massive The burger, and especially the meat, was pretty huge - big enough that I couldn't eat it with just one hand at the start I would have to say the entire meal lands over 2000 calories - which is quite impressive this meal was so good that even though i was in a pretty suboptimal eating environment (an airport lounge seat with no table) it was still incredible

We had reservations but it wasn't overly busy so I don't think they were necessary for that day and time but I would definitely recommend on busier times. I love the fact that this is more of a tapas style restaurant so you can order and taste a ton of options. Plates are generally around $14-22 per plate and they have enough for three or four (tapas style). We started with crab dip and oysters on the half shell (raw). The crab dip was rich and creamy and served with buttered crusty, buttered bread. The oysters were amazing too but a little nuance about these: they are listed by region (e.g. West Coast, Mid-Atlantic, etc.) and not listed as they type of oyster. Oysters vary greatly within a single region so I would encourage you to ask what specific oysters they serve for each region (they will look it up and tell you) to make sure you know what you are getting. We also ordered the calamari, small salad (unlisted option for the salad listed on the menu) and poke bowl to share. We went in hungry and probably ordered too much because this was all to start off. Everything was really good and worth ordering. For my "entree" or ordered the trout which comes with lentils and broccolini. This dish was fantastic and highly recommended. The trout was perfectly cooked and delicious. Our waitress, Tiffany, was amazing and did a great job. Additionally, this is the perfect spot for a "dinner and a show" since it is right beside the Knight theater. Parking is easily accessible at the Green Garage right across the street.

This restaurant is very nicely designed. It's visually appealing with tables indoors, a bar area, and an outside dining area. The hostess and my server were professional and extremely nice and made my dining experience very pleasant. The reason I am giving three stars instead of four or more comes down to value. Seafood is expensive, I get that. But I don't know that there's much value to be had here. Portion sizes are small relative to what you're paying for. And in my opinion, while the freshness and the quality of the seafood may be there, the flavor is not. I have no doubt that the quality of the seafood here is good. But I did not enjoy anything I ordered. I wasn't put off by the food, but I wish I had wanted to savor each bit. I ordered the cajun grilled oysters and the miso sablefish. I thought both were too salty and despite paying over $40 for the meal, I left still a bit hungry.

We came in on a weeknight at dinner time with no reservation, so we had to sit at the bar (which was just fine). The space is very upscale but comfortable. Service was impeccable. The bartender (Kevin?) was engaging and attentive, as were others working behind the bar. They make you kind of feel like regulars, and that vibe led to good conversations with other patrons. The drink menu is impressive, with the usual classics but also many variants on them; all of which sounded really good. My business partner had the Ube Sour. The flavors, including Sweet Potato powder, where unique and really good. I had a Vesper that was prepared perfectly. Pricing on the wines by the glass were very good and the selection was excellent. My business partner had the Seafood Pasta with squid ink spaghetti. He loved it and the spicy tomato sauce. There was plenty of perfectly cooked seafood. I had the roasted Sea Bass with Broccolini. So good! But what really got me was an add-on side of Seafood Mashed Potatoes. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was wonderful enough to be an entree by itself. Shrimp and Langostinos in an incredible cream sauce over buttery mashed potatoes (see pic). Desserts were also excellent. My business partner had what I think was a coconut crema, which he loved. I had two scoops of house made ice cream (vanilla and pistachio) with berries; also very, very good. I mentioned attention to details at the start. An example of this watching staff behind the bar polishing glasses. Polishing, not just washing. I watched one person spend almost 5 minutes polishing a single champagne class; constantly checking it for spots before putting in on the shelf. That's attention to detail!

When I questioned it, the manager came over and actually told me it was my fault for not clearing my cookies and cache on their website. Let that sink in. No warning. No accountability. No apology from management. No attempt to fix it. Just blame the customer and move on. If your website is showing incorrect pricing, that's a business problem, not something customers should be penalized for. Expecting people to troubleshoot your website before ordering food is honestly ridiculous!! This wasn't just about the money because I've spent hundreds here... it was the complete lack of professionalism and customer service. Do yourself a favor and double-check EVERYTHING before you order here... apparently their online menu can't be trusted and management doesn't care one bit! Also celebrating a birthday and the lack of accountability was DISGUSTING. I'll spend my money at a better establishment in the future
