I was hoping that this was gonna be a great company to work with as they got back to me pretty fast with a fair quote and an appointment date & time. So on the day of my appointment, which was scheduled for 8:30 am, the workers did not show up on time and they did not call to let me know they were running late. For me, this is unacceptable because it tells a lot about the company's work ethics. My husband called the owner and explained our dilemma and said that we were very sorry but we do not want to go forward with his job because if this is the way they start off we're not comfortable with the rest of the job. The owner was apologetic, but that was not enough for us as it turns out I did find a great replacement and I guess I learned lesson than that even though a person gets great reviews, being being on time is the key going forward. Or as the expression goes 50% of the job is just showing up on time. I gave three stars because the owner did call us back and apologize. Otherwise had he not, I would've given zero stars. read more

Gomez stopped by for a bid and was ready to start working on the project right away on a Saturday. They helped to patch a big entertainment center sized hole that the previous owners left behind for us, also helped to dismantle and remove temporary structures and shelves that was all around the garage, helped to bring down a shelf in the garage to line up with others etc. In short, they are ready to take any work and deliver on it fast. Kudos to Fidel, Gomez's uncle I assume, who ran the work for two days. He was easy to communicate with. I contacted 6 different general contractors to get a variety of smaller projects done, and they were the only ones who even responded - and in less than an hour to boot! They got me on the schedule within a few days, did the work, and it turned out better than I expected. Specifically, I had some rough drywall edges under the end of my counter that I wanted moulding over to clean it up; a new fan installed to replace the old broken one in my spare bedroom; two smoke alarms installed (I don't mess with electricity due to some bad experiences as a kid); and a big drywall hole under my bathroom sinks from previous poor plumbing work by Roto Rooter fixed up. Moulding and drywall repair exceeded my expectations, smoke alarm install was quick and easy, and fan assembly and install also went smoothly and works perfectly now. Price was very affordable for Orange County, and all the work was done in less than a day. Also worth noting that they were very concerned with cleanliness - lined the whole work and walking area with plastic sheeting and masking tape, cleaned up completely at end, friendly - it was a very good experience. We did a complete bathroom remodel. Demo was the worst part as expected, but after all the demo was done it was pretty smooth. The only thing that we didn't like was that when we were told someone would be there at 8am and they would show up at 11 am. They did clean up every day fairly well.
