The owner came to my house and explained everything in detail. The project manager, Jenny, was very helpful and came to the job site each day. The crew cleaned up at the end of the day and the work was completed on time. I would highly recommend Trinity. Barbara C.

I found Trinity Home renovations through Yelp and used the Yelp platform for roofing to book an…read moreestimate for our roof. John (the owner) contacted me right away. I found this process pretty easy and would highly recommend Yelp for booking estimates. We ended up getting three local roofer quotes through Yelp but ultimately decided on John and his company due to their price, level of professionalism, and explanation of the roofing process. What we also appreciated was that he was not a pushy salesperson, he explained to me the process of the roofing process in simple terms. We also liked that he had lots of proven references from reviews printed out and he also had a piece of literature he gave that he mentioned his wife wrote so people who weren't in the industry would understand the whole process. For us, that really helped. I had did my research before about GAF certified contractors in the area and knowing that they were a Master Elite level contractor gave us confidence they would do a good job and offer the best warranty. Throughout the process, John and Jenny communicated to us well and even when we had trouble deciding on our shingle color, they delivered three sample colors of actual shingles so we could decide. We ended up going with a color that John helped us pick up since we trusted his judgment. The rain had delayed our start date on the roof but John and Jenny always communicated us if the date was pushed back and John always personally answered his cell phone whenever we needed to get a hold of them. Jenny dealt with our tear off and replacement of our roof and it took 2 days. They cleaned our lawn in-between and got rid of the dumpster afterwards very efficiently. My husband dealt with the roofing team and they were very knowledgeable, professional and diligent. Our chimney was very old so they arranged to consult with a masonry before working on it. We have no complaints and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to get their roof done. We also needed to get a chimney cap and a duct vent replaced and they added it to our roof cost at a very affordable price. We are thoroughly pleased with our new roof!

Had a horrible experience with Patriot. We hired them to replace our soffit, fascia, and gutters…read more The person who quoted the job only included material and labor for about half the work to be completed. After several change orders and numerous calls on my part to get the correct materials to complete the job, the total cost of the project was almost double what was originally quoted. Now less than a year after the work was completed, there are several spots where the soffits are falling away from the fascia and they are not willing to send someone to fix their work. We have had several home renovation projects recently and have hired several different contractors. Patriot has been by far the worst we have dealt with. They ended up being our most expensive option after all the change orders, they had poor communication, poor planning, and we received little to no resolution once their quoting error was discovered. To top it off, now that their work is failing, they are not sending anyone to fix it and make it right. My lessons learned from this experience: Get multiple quotes and take one of the middle options. Hire a contractor that has their own workers, no subcontractors. You might pay a little more for the work to be done, but it will be done right.

I had water damage due to a burst water pipe. My insurance company recommended Patriot for drywall,…read morepaint, flooring, vanity, and moldings. First issue with them was the time it took them to complete the job. A maybe two-week job took more than 6 months! They use and rely mainly on sub-contractors. Next issue: About 40% of the drywall that was supposed to be replaced as per contract was not done. Of the 4 rooms and 3 closets to be drywalled as per contract, 2 rooms and 0 closets were actually done. We agreed to eliminate the amount that I overspent on flooring by not drywalling 2 closets. Then Dan said that "the 3rd closet won't be drywalled because the inside of the front door was painted". Yes, he actually said that! The foyer and the bathroom were not drywalled although the contract specified drywalling those areas. Next issue: Door moldings. The contract called for new moldings but all the old ones were put back on - all 210 board feet. They said caulking the old nail holes costs as much as new molding. Give me a break!! Before they put the old molding back on, I sorted out and took all the old nails out. I might add that I painted all the baseboard heat vents and covers in all 4 rooms myself - ca. 56 feet. Then Dan and Jeremy called and said they will pay me an additional ca. $150.00. I NEVER SAW IT. I feel they owe me the $150.00 plus a fair reimbursement for the work not done per the contract (drywall 2 rooms and new door moldings). Also, there was no final walk-through or inspection and no final paperwork! I don't bother calling them anymore because they won't call back. Dave R.
