Looks amazing and posh-like from outside. So I knew things were different in this new place. There wasn't a line when went there and had few of our friends inside waiting for us at a table. Biggest change I noticed was space and the staff. There are lots of staff inside and all in uniform. Interior design is pretty sleek. It's hard to believe this place is in Ladypool Road. Should be somewhere in city centre or broad street because many people should try this place. You'd think there would be lack of customers but walking out in the end there was a huge line outside. The previous place was popular and many people were suggesting a bigger place, but from what I saw they might need even bigger place. They're extending the back to add more capacity to this place. Still in development, so soon would hold more people. Obviously Heavenly Desserts are good at what they do and quite popular. I just ate before coming here and didn't want go for big dessert or waffle (the regular I get). Got crepe which comes with strawberries, scoop of vannila ice cream and strawberry sauce. I figured crepe would be light and small, how wrong I was. Was biggest crepe I had. Anyways It was delicious and place was buzzing. Everyone seemed to be having great time with their friends. It does get a little noisy but we sat in a big group section so it's to be expected. The two main staff (manager and assitant I think) were amazing and polite. The assitant manager was polite when showing people to their seats and as we were leaving, he was outside talking to the kids who were in line with their parents. That's awesome, and the whole experience from stepping in to the end was amazing. So gets 5 Stars from me. Try get yourself down here sometime. They do variety of deserts. The girl who served us wasn't interested if we were there or not. which put a damper on things when she demanded to have the menu back from me even though i was still looking at what drink to order. Staff need to be trained to be more polite and friendly. She was more interested in chatting to her work colleague than serving us. Apart from that this place has very tasty deserts at affordable prices! The fruity flavoured ones are my favourite! I have started visiting this place regularly now and will keep visiting them! Everything inside represents luxury from the decoration the furniture. It's very plush. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. The staff here are friendly but also seem to give the cold shoulder at times. They have separate male and female toilets, with a disabled toilet and baby changer room. The interior has been done to a high standard with different types of seating for different groups of people. If you don't fancy something straight off the menu you can go up to the main cake stands or ice cream counter. That way you can see what you're going to have and make a decision that way. All deserts come with a choice of cream, ice cream or warm custard. Some deserts even come with melted chocolate, jam or double cream. A lot of choice of what to hace on the menus, from waffles, crepes, sundaes, cake etc. I was a little disappointed by the portion sizes and my experience was short lived. Tap water is free and needed with consuming so much sugar but milkshakes and other drinks are on offer too. Sadly they don't have a car park so you'd need to walk there or park on road outside after 6pm. It has a very good location being in the centre of West Brom town.

I had also ordered a beetroot smoothie and was repeatedly asked if i wanted it made with frozen yogurt or soft serve. I wasn't sure what soft serve was so i asked the waiter to explain himself and he just kept saying its soft serve. i had no idea what it was. Then my friend pointed out its like a Mr Whippy van style ice -cream. Why couldn't he just say that? So i chose frozen yogurt. The smoothie was nice but i would prefer to have it with our any frozen yogurt or soft serve. There is a lot of choice with savoury options, a small selection of cakes, lots of different toppings for the pancakes, crepes and waffles. Price wise i think its very expensive. We had 1 Crepe, a small black coffee and smoothie for £14.00. Even for Harborne that is slightly too high, especially when this is aimed more at parents with children. As soon as I saw the first photos of Paradice being added to Yelp, that was it - I HAD to go. A trip to Harborne for work was planned and I knew a trip to the Gelateria had to be a part of the day. After doing some work in Boston Tea Party in the morning, an ice cream was just what the Doctor ordered after my massive lunch as an afternoon pick-me-up. The venue is just up from the Junction and has entrances on both sides (both Vivian and High Street) and is bright, airy and large. One side has a small children's soft play area (to keep the kids busy) and the other has a selection of booths and chairs for visiting groups. After a long look at the selection (which is rather generous to say the least), I opted to go for the (now) legendary "Hello Kitty" mixed with cola millions flavour in a medium tub (£3.40). The gelato is lovely. Light, fluffy and packed full of flavour - it dances on the palate (even when it's long gone). I didn't feel aggrieved at the price for two scoops at all (and if I had, had more of an appetite might have opted for 3). The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. I was offered tasters of different flavours to try before I chose and you could sense that they love their jobs (which is important, especially in the service industry). I will definitely be back to try more of their selection. I believe their Ferrero Rocher flavour is already calling me...
