After a light dinner, we all agreed (that's my family and I) to go for dessert, especially knowing about the many places that have newly opened in Alum Rock.
Upon entrance into Supreme desserts, we were greeted with a very friendly waitress, and the service was impeccable. The menu offered many choices , however I was immediately drawn to the 'Red Velvet Waffles' not having tried something like that before.
We ordered a mango sorbet, the waffles that I was so very excited to try, and a chocolate Sundae, however I was slightly disappointed at the fact that we had to pay for water, which is quite rare in a dessert parlour.
The red velvet waffles were very light and fluffy, with the right amount of sweetness and just heavenly to eat. However the other desserts were not as 'supreme' as the name suggested. The mango sorbet was boring, and had too much cream inside, and the chocolate Sundae contained brownies that were too chewy, ice cream that was too sweet and slightly stale wafer pieces at the bottom. If you are planning to come here, I'd suggest to not go for any of the - ice cream only - desserts.
They must be applauded on their great service, and their waffles though! read more
