I asked for proof or photos, but he just talked in circles, using a bunch of technical words to confuse me. It felt like he was making up issues just to raise the price. He said, "I already opened it up, so I have to charge you either way," and then mentioned a new fee--conveniently just under $100. I ended up paying more than double what he originally quoted, and my computer still wasn't fully working when I picked it up. It honestly felt like a scam. The colors were off and looked terrible, and it had a chin at the bottom. I went back and paid $250 for a proper oled iPhone screen. I was happy with it. I even went back to him weeks later for a screen protector. Everything looked and worked great for 3 months until it didn't. The screen started to glitch when I set it to full brightness then it started to flash and glitch with any movement. Finally my screen just failed. When I asked for it back to go elsewhere, my iPad mini wasn't in the store to get it back. SOL. Jesse said he can only compensate me with an apology and that he was swamped with devices.
