I'd check every of those areas for a tripped gfci. I've seen a bathroom gfci be the reason the outdoor plugs aren't working. He was able to come over just a few hours later (on a Sunday afternoon), and in about 20 minutes had pinpointed the problem - a nest of mice hiding in a small space accessible via a crevice in the hardyboard planks on the exterior of the house, right below our fireplace. He then ran to the hardware store to pick up the supplies for the job, and returned and worked for a couple of hours in the snow and cold, cleaning out the critters and their nastiness, re-planking, and sealing everything up well with caulk (original builder had not done a great job). He is very friendly and professional, and I think his pricing was quite reasonable for what we got in return. We will be giving Pete a call next time we need a hand (will be soon as we do need help with our sink too!), and will be letting our neighbors know about him!

They were one of the first to reply and set up a consultation. I set up an appointment. Received a phone call that I missed. I called them right back and a man answered rudely asking why I was calling... I politely explained I was returning their phone call and he still questioned me as why I was calling, short tempered. They were very specific to need to meet at my residency and needing my address apparently to meet but I was fine with meeting them at a close destination. They arrived on time, and I quickly realized the man I spoke to on the phone that was very rude was the guy that was pitching that he would be the GC of our job. He was persistent that he wanted to speak to my husband, as if I am not capable of making a decision if they are someone we would like to hire. I feel like he was overselling his capabilities of doing our job and he walked into that consultation as of needing to show me he was the boss. I need a GC that's capable of communication and fulfilling the job. Their tactic was very skeptical. I will give it to them, that they were quick to try to pick up a job, and they arrived on time and I was able to have a cordial short conversation with them to know they were not going to be our general contractor. He gave me a ball park bid. The price was higher than what I felt they were capable of, and higher than most other contractors. They also claimed they had a reputation with the local banks, but they wanted us to be the dealer. Maybe good for small out of pocket jobs??? But definitely not new construction builds that may require a lender, unless you are doing an owner build. Overall, based on my brief experience with them. Don't waist your time or money. Lack of trust in their ability to complete a job smoothly. This review is based off their communication skills.
