Lifesaving pit stop for some yummy grub and AC break! The two female servers here are always so friendly, patient, knowledgeable and accommodating! The food here is so good too! The best! If you are in Yuma , you must eat at Mr Fish. Ask any local. I've only had fish to go, and it is hot and delicious. Love mine with malt vinegar. Clam strips were so fresh and sweet. Clam chowder was some of the best I've tasted. Expect to wait they hand cook everything and the kitchen is only so big. Cash is king in Yuma at most of the local establishments. Lines are longest during snowbird season, but so worth the wait. read more

Amazing food and service has been had here every time I have visited. I usually have the one piece dinner with coleslaw. The fish is always moist and the coleslaw is actually edible. Tbh I am not usually a fan of the slaw anywhere but I can actually handle a couple of bites. read more

First of all, I'm from Newfoundland, so I know something about fish and chips and good deep fried fish in general. Two pieces fish and chip meal. Two pieces of Alaska cod with fries, cole slaw, tartar sauce, and a lemon wedge. The fish is coated in a breading type batter as opposed to a beer batter or tempura batter and not too thick. A little more oil in the bottom than expected but the fish was not greasy and was fresh, flaky, and cooked perfectly. Both pieces were larger than the palm of my hand, a good size making a two piece a great sized meal. Fries are commercial seasoned fries as opposed to hand cut. A fair portion, cooked just right and not greasy. Tartar sauce was okay but IMHO could use some more pickle and pickle juice to enhance the flavor profile. Cole slaw was tasty, more sweet than vinegar, and appropriately chilled. Cost: $13.75 +T&T; a good value Fish taco A piece of Alaska cod on a corn tortilla with creama sauce, cabbage, and salsa on the side. The fish was again perfectly cooked and is bigger than the tortilla can hold, which is not a complaint! Creama is smooth and the cabbage is crisp and doesn't overwhelm the balance of the bite. The salsa is mild to medium and adds a little spice without going into the hot range. Price: $3.90 +T&T; a great value. Service is excellent: efficient and polite without being intrusive or seeming artificial. I was offered a to-go cup for the remainder of my soda which was appreciated. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, bright inside, and has space to maneuver mobility devices inside to the tables. I saw the staff take devices and park them out of the way once the guests were seated. Well done! There's malt vinegar on the table in addition to the usual S&P and ketchup. Cash, card, or q-code scan for payment (my bank declined the payment using the code scan). I'll be back for sure. read more

So... Everything tasted good. But everything tasted the same. Everything is deep fried. Which is a lot. But if you like that sort of thing. Then sure. Not too fond of not seeing a menu. The place is extremely busy as it's a popular spot. I respect that. But I felt rushed and pressured (Not by anyone) but because the only time I had a chance to look at the menu was when I got to the resister. And because it's busy, there is a line. There is no updated menu online. I wanted zucchini fries. But not for that price. The employees are very very nice. And it's a great environment. Phone ordered a couple 2 piece combos, and some popcorn shrimp around 5pm. It was insanely hectic for a Thursday but I'm glad the local companies are getting the business!!! I paid up, and waited around 5 minutes for the To-Go food. Dine in wait at the time was 10 minutes. All staff knew their mission and executed it flawlessly! The cod is nice and flaky, had a nice Ka-POW from the tartar sauce, but what really impressed me was the popcorn shrimp and cocktail sauce! That sauce had the perfect ZING to it!! Our first time in Yuma & at Mr Fish & chips. We chose to try Mr Fish thanks to a recommendation from a local. We tried it out for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. Hubby ordered the 2 piece Cod & the pieces were huge honestly he should have ordered only 1-piece. I tried the fish taco & a lobster taco. This place was suggested by a co-worker that had been here before. The staff took our order as soon as we were ready and were not pushy as we stood back from the counter to review the menu. My co-worker ordered the calamari rings as an appetizer and they came out a few minutes before the meals did. They were good, but not battered with the same stuff the fish and shrimp was. We both ordered the fish and shrimp with with fries. He did get the sweet potato fries and I got the regular fries. The food was hot and tasted wonderful! As far as fish and chips, joints are concerned. This isn't a bad choice. The staff is all family. Imagine that! A family but are able to work together. The portion sizes are adequate, and the quality of the fishes pretty darn good. My only criticism would be their chicken wings. We were there with our little old fifteen year old dog who became the centre of attention for the seniors in attendance.
