I will give this a negative star if I can. They have the worst employees with the worst follow up and customer service. I went there a year ago and asked for price ranges just to get an idea and the response from the sales person was arrogantly saying "I can't give you a range. It's expensive". After all I have been through...we have spent so much money with them for all of our doors and knobs. The handles are falling off the doors in the back of the house and they never showed up to fix them sad promised. Eventually had to pay our handyman to fix them. Now our very expensive front doors ha ent closed properly. Spoke to the owner and they still never came to fix them. Kw they are scraping up and all the finish is coming off scraping against each other. Today the doors won't close. We shopped around for a Hurricane door for months. One person came and measured. Only showed one style of hurricane door. I went and talked to Alex came the next to measure the door and gave lots of choice of doors. We order the door in Hurricane season and we got it before the ship date. I am disgusted by the service I received today on the phone. I purchased an $1100 outdoor tempered glass door on a fiberglass frame and had it finally picked up last week to install. Once I realized that the door frame was ordered as well without need for it, I contacted them to attempt to return it. The owner Julia continuously denied my request to return a piece that wasn't used since I only needed the actual door. I understand the frame only added $100-$150 to the price but if I don't need it then it doesn't matter how small the amount is, I should be able to return it. SHE LITERALLY TOLD ME "IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU'RE DESPERATE FOR MONEY." I am appalled at how this place is still in business. If I was desperate for money, would I have just spent $1100 on a door? I don't think so. I could've gone to FPG, or Home Depot but I chose a neighborhood store because I felt supporting local businesses was the right thing to do. I will literally never recommend them to anyone and never use them again. I am disgusted with the use of their derogatory comments towards paying customers. Zero stars if it were possible. Called to have them come and provide an estimate. He arrived and just mentioned a price. No written estimate and kept looking at me from top to bottom. Yes, it was an old house I was remodeling. Appeared to have thought that I couldn't afford his doors. To hell with Mr Doorman! Unprofessional, obstinate man that doesn't realize customers as myself multiplied by others of my kind will run him out of business. Very poor service, or better yet; none at all. Pete answers phones doesn't behave like he's working for his money. Blew me off on phone asked for pics and NO REPLY. I followed up and he reprimanded me saying he had given me a reply on the phone. He didn't, he asked to see pics via email. No reply. These folks are lacking customer service. They're outrageously expensive and arrogant. I do not recommend them at all. 2nd time I purchase from here. Definitely the best prices and quality in all Miami. I first ordered a frosted glass door for my hallway bathroom to allow light to filter since I have no windows in the hall. I believe it took about a month since it was special order. I recently ordered my entrance impact doors and I couldn't be more satisfied. I gave the deposit and the door was ready 2 months later just like they promised since it was a special order as well. Daimy from Mr.Doorman was very helpful with the measurements and all aspects of the order. She sent someone right away to confirm the measurements I gave her. The installation team was great and worked very fast! They cleaned up and hauled the old doors away. I also ordered a custom fire rated door that should be ready by the end of this month. read more

First the good (and there is a lot of good): 1- The quality of work is exceptional- and Miami is not known for good workmanship. 2- Their products are very good. I had them install both exterior impact and interior doors. Very pleased. 3- Their workers are courteous, punctual and neat. The rest: 1- It will take time to get your doors. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!After spending $3600 it's been an incredibly awful experience!!! This company is so unprofessional its not even funny! Alex(the owner) showed up at my house to do an install with his entire family like they were on a picnic! They brought the door on the back of a pick-up and was already damaged before they even started.The transom they brought didn't fit and they had already taken out the existing transom. It has been several months and have not received the correct transom to date. I have talked to the owner on several occasions (Alex) and he has not warrantied any of his work! read more

Bought a door and had installed. It took a couple of weeks for the door to arrive, but they came today early and worked clean and professionally to get the job done right. Their customer service rep is an angry and bitter person. If you call for answers to a question they get super pissy right away. I understand that they might have good prices (maybe) but you're better off spending just that little bit extra $ someplace else so you never have to deal with the in house grouch. read more

This contractor deserves a 0 rating. He has taken months to complete a project that was scheduled to take 2 weeks. He is full of lame excuses, puts blame on other people and does sub-standard work. A word to the wise stay away from this company. read more

OK experience, could have been better. Purchased a fiber glass door for the house entry. Yuneysi, the sales person was great. She was patient, not pushy, gave us choices and answered all our questions. However, we had a different type of experience with the installation. When the day of the installation came, the installer installed the door, but then he was about to leave when we noticed had not patched the area above the frame with plaster. We brought it to his attention, he apologized, applied the plaster and left. After he left, we noticed several gaps that he did not seal well with the caulk around the frame, and at the bottom of the threshold. We had to buy caulk and finish sealing the door with caulk ourselves. One week later, we noticed the metallic threshold began to make a squeaky sound and did not feel solid. Called the company, but we had to wait a couple of months because of COVID-19. When businesses began to open, it took us several emails and a handful of phone calls to complain and have someone come and inspect the door. In one occasion they did not show up for the appointment, and did not call to cancel or re-schedule. Fact of the matter was that the original installer failed to put the PVC piece that came with the threshold to make it solid. The new installer came and fixed the problem, three months after the original installation date. In conclusion, they need to hire better, more competent and professional installers, and they also need to improve their customer service and follow up. In the end not a bad experience, but could have been better. read more

Horrible!!! I called this company to schedule someone to come out to my apartment to repair a closet door and some other interior doors I am having issues with. The woman who called me back was the worse! She was rude for the most part and you could tell she was annoyed with my questions, with Zero customer service skills, she must have repeated the service charge fee at least 8 times, even when I was not even asking about that, wanted to quote me for the job without even sending someone to look at the doors and even after I told her I didn't mind to pay for the service call, constantly interrupting me wouldn't even let me speak. It was as if all she cared about was the $$$ they would be charging me. Do your business a huge favor...fire this person or retrain her, or else you will lose a lot of customers! You sure lost me and I was ready and willing to hire you but not after that experience! read more

I called the company, scheduled a visit to my house. Alex, the owner, came on time took measures for my the doors and the windows. He is very knowledgeable. He gave me recommendations and options. He even adjusted a door that I had installed recently; which was not closing right. No charge. On the same day I went to his office. He showed me the doors and windows. I picked the one I liked. He asked for 75% down payment. I would not give no more than 35% to any contractor, but with Alex it feels like family. I am still waiting for his call to schedule an installation day. I will share my experience with you once the job is done. I will support that with few photos. The job is done. I have to take out some stars these is a 3 star job in Miami Standard. They installed the doors and windows, they can't patch of cover any damage on the whole around the Windows or doors. For what's they charge, you expect a perfect job. Most likely I will not hire them again. I have to clean after them. They installers were very friendly and respectful though. read more

We ordered a beautiful impact fiberglass entry door in Modern Mahogany semigloss which Mr Door Man came and installed back in Jan. 2017. It hasn't been a year many areas of the semi-glass and the paint have faded, some areas even show red color marker like spots as if they tried to use it to do the cover ups. At the time of ordering they suggested us to pay more for the better paint by Sherwin Williams to have it to last longer. We left several messages to the office to the owner Julia since Jan. 2018 with never a return on my phone calls. I was able to finally get a chance to talk to her over the phone in March, she had her husband, Alex, came to our house to ck it out, he told us that this problem shouldn't happen, he was going to send the painter to come to repaint it again. One wk went by with no hearing from them, I made numerous calls spoken with the office assistant Marcy, and sent the same email number of times with no response. You think buying from a smaller co. will get a better personalized service, well definitely NOT from this co.! Alex is never in the office, Julia is constantly busy with ONLY the new customers, the office assistant works as an answering machine, don't expect you will get any kind of response from them if you paid them in full. read more
