Turns out it was a great suggestion that enabled us to save money on floors and spend that planned money on new appliances in our new, 20-yr old house. We had our vinyl floors installed in 2018. Originally we were going to go with an engineered hardwood or laminate but due to dogs and potential water issues, Mike suggested we use a multilayered vinyl. It was a great suggestion. Although installation took a little longer than expected, we're in love with our floors and the price. We came back three years later in 2021 and had the rest of our carpet replaced with new carpet. The latest installers were VERY quick and did a great job. Again, price was exceptional.

I want to write a fair review, so I'll include all the pros and cons from our experience with floor…read moregallery. When we first came into the store, I loved the floor collections there. They have a lot to offer if you are as picky as me. Mike was great and helpful at assisting us with floor collections and brought 4 different samples to our house the next day for measurements. However, we didn't know that nightmare began after we signed the contract. We decided to go with vinyls for all upstairs floor. Mike told us that his team will start on the next Monday, latest the Tuesday. However, he NEVER called on Monday to update me on his team's schedule. So I had to call him and heard him saying " I was just about to call you". The team didn't show up on Monday, they came Tuesday morning around 8am. Things went well the first day, demo was fast. The second day, the team came around same time, but they slowed down a lot, and left the house an hour earlier compared to Tuesday. Same thing with the third day, they left one hour earlier and say they will come back to finish the rest on Friday. After they left and finished on Friday, floor looked nice at first. But then we started to find many detail problems. Up until this point, we NEVER hear anything from Mike to ask if we were satisfied with the work. Our floor was not level, and we could feel the bumps and floor was moving and making sounds. So we contacted Mike and had him and his worker to come in and talk about the problems. On the day, we had to reschedule, so I called Mike to reschedule. He said he will ask his guy first and call me back shorty. 3 HOURs later, I still DIDN'T hear anything from him, and our new appointment is in 30 mins. So I texted him with attitude of course ( it's been more than one time he supposed to update me, but he didn't!) Then Mike and the worker came to check the floor. And they told me " cuz our floor is CHEAP, so that's why it's not level!" And Mike was blaming on his worker in front of me saying that the worker didn't update him or me and decided on his own of what to do with our floor. We gave them permission to float our floor when necessary at the beginning and they decided not to use it and came back to tell me our floor is cheap! The team came back to fix the floor the following week. They just decided to float EVERYWHERE this time. I don't even know if that's necessary. They used a total of 15 bags of float. It took the team another 4 days to finish the floor and came back extra 2 times to fix the minor details and the side. We had not hear from Mike at all since he came and told me our house floor is cheap. And all he ever contacted us was to have his check! The quality of the floor is great, the work was not to our satisfaction, but the encountering experience with Mike was bad! And supposed to be 3 days of work( according to Mike), it took them 8 days to finish. I'm not going to say everyone have the experience like us, but just make sure if you decide to work with Mike, call him first and ask what is going on first, so you can plan your time as you needed. And make sure check on all the detail works.

I had a large, approximately 5' x 7' tempered glass Solex window explode early on a Saturday evening. A different company had been making numerous excuses for not getting a replacement window. When that other company finally showed up with glass that didn't fit after waiting almost a month, I canceled them and called Century Glass & Interiors. Maybritt was so helpful on the phone and told me that Solex glass was available though the other company claimed it was no longer being made. Joe came out and took measurements the day after the other company showed up with the wrong size glass. He was very precise in taking measurements in all areas of the window. About a week later, the glass arrived and the installation went very smoothly. Joe took the time to add extra caulking and they cleaned up all the broken glass that was still in the frame. They did an absolutely excellent job and I definitely would use this business again. I highly recommend them.

When we first became in the market for new counters, we remembered seeing this stone yard when driving down Rt. 6 towards Alvin. Prior to arriving, we had thought that we wanted Quartz. It wasn't until we met George and he talked to us (passionately) about natural stone, did we decide that real stone was the way to go. We looked around the yard and wasn't 100% in love with the selection but were told a new shipment was going to arrive soon. I stopped back in a few days and fell in LOVE with a Quartzite slab. We bought 2 slabs because George explained this would result in NO SEAMS. Yes, it cost more but our counters are GORGEOUS and now we have extra stone to do the bathroom vanity! Victor, Rick and Rodolfo installed our countertops. They were so professional and friendly! Brenda was great and answered any questions quickly. George was awesome and loves what he does. We had a slight concern with the counters shortly after they were installed but George and his team QUICKLY came out to remedy the concern, adding to call them if we had any questions/concerns in the future. But it was the cutting a square of it as a welcome mat that was the cherry on top, along with not being able to tell they had even been there.
