Best lil bottle shop for unique natural wines! One of the best selections of natural wines in the Denver area. Selection is extensive, and the staff is generally knowledgable. read more

"One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer" - George Thorogood and the Destroyers (1977), John Lee Hooker (1966), Amos Milburn and The Aladdin Chickenshackers (1953) Denver Biscuit Company was overflowing with customers so we stopped in here to kill some time, and what a great idea that turned out to be. It's hard to be a semi-serious mixologist in Hawaii. We don't have an extensive selection of fine rums (unless it's locally made), bitters, Bols and all manner of elusive mixes. Every time a cocktail calls for something other than the straight liquor itself, it's impossible to find in Hawaii, so Mr B's surprised me with a great collection of floral-infused booziness and liquors (my favorites) I ended up buying a bottle of Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur for about $45, which is the going price. Don't ask me what I am going to make with it. I don't know yet. SELECTION: very large and extensive, and they have their own Mr B's labeled wine. PRICE: Fair prices. About the same prices here retail as compared to our local Costco. SERVICE: very friendly guy at the counter. Located in the Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, Colorado. read more

Admittedly maybe I'm just not that sophisticated? I stopped by Mr. B's to grab a bottle of wine. For my budget I can normally grab a quality bottle of wine between $12-$20. I'm sure the wine they feature is worthy of the prices but most were in the high-end, $40 and up. Yes, there were a few in the low moderate range but the majority were high. Anyway, staff was very courteous. I was just surprised of the prices. The store is fully stocked so there is great variety read more

Mr B's Wine & Spirits - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

Really enjoyed their location in Stanley Marketplace. One of the better businesses in the whole complex. Staff was friendly and helpful although I thought it was random that some Anglo guy called me señorita but whatever. I got a cool book here about rosé which the counter dude highly recommended and was discounted about $5 off the list price. My bf enjoyed their tequila selection including many high end brands and they also had a nice selection of Colorado wine and spirits including whiskeys and bourbons. Lots of reasonably priced wines in the $12-$15 range on the lower shelves. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Mr B's Wine & Spirits - Signage - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

I'm not sure I realized this was Mr. B's but once I did realize it, it was zero surprise to me. Not knowing it when I walked it even brings further credibility to their reputation and who they are. I've been here a few times and what stands out is this: the staff knows what they are talking about, the staff will provide outstanding recommendations, and the store itself carries brands that you cannot find or probably won't find in other liquor stores. Case in point, my last experience was all about cider for my wife. I told them she likes dry, he gave me a couple options, pointed out what he'd get, and I went with it. Not only did he absolutely nail it but when I searched for this brand, it was not one you'd readily find. It was a really nice treat to have sometime you like that most likely you'd never had before. Kudos all the around to the staff. read more

Friendly staffs and great selections! I went in for a bottle of wine couple days ago and then went back to checkout their spirits. I was not disappointed! Great find! read more

Finally NW Aurora has a liquor store that doesn't use cardboard boxes as shelves! Seriously. What is up with all the shady liquor stores around this neighborhood? Mr. B's is a welcome addition to Stanley and to NW Aurora. It's not a huge store, but they have a good selection of beer, wine, and liquor. And they have a Scotch vault. I think it was an old vault to store explosives. The scotch selection is really good if you're looking for something north of $60. I would like to see a little more selection in the $40-$50 range, because scotch is such an expensive hobby. But I can't complain. I have picked up some amazing Scotches: Two Gordon Macphails and Suntory Toki. All at discounted prices. Best of all, Mr. B's has hosted several free scotch tastings, and I think the plan is do so at least every two or three weeks. This is a great way to introduce beginners and avid scotch drinkers to bottles that they may never have considered before. I know I tend to lean toward highland and peaty scotches, but I have had some great ones during the first couple tastings. Storm is very knowledgeable about almost every product in the Scotch vault. And when he hasn't tried something, he is not afraid to tell you that. read more

Best liquor store ever. I live nearby and frequent here on occasion and always leave with what I need, I feel covid safe and prices are affordable. During covid, they took the necessary precautions with limited occupants, people at the door checking i.d's just all in all a classy place. They have ice cream in the freezer if you live nearby and need a sweet treat. In addition I love the staff. They are always helpful abs friendly. They do have parking spaces in the garage behind them off of 22nd street so being in a busy area, that is one less thing to worry about. read more

We had 2 separate purchases first was a bourbon, and I got the employee recommendation. Next was a Wine purchase, and both times the employees were friendly and helpful. read more

I can only speak to the beer selection and customer service, but I think both are great. I typically work at Stanley Marketplace once every two weeks and browse their selection, texting the wife the options, and then buying later that day. They're one of the few locations I know that has been known to carry Sorachi Ace. Their staff makes excellent recommendations when you need one. They're currently only allowing 6 or 8 customers in at a time due to covid restrictions. The staff are always attentive when someone arrives and then you get waved in once they check the aisles. read more

It's a good thing we don't live near Stanley Marketplace where Mr B's Wine & Spirits is located, because my husband made a beeline for this place as we were exploring and wouldn't leave until I agreed to gift him with something to add to his whiskey collection. Even as a someone who rarely drinks alcohol, I can certainly appreciate Mr B's. The store feels intimate in decor and expansive in choice and selection. I didn't get too much of a chance to check out the red wine collection (my alcoholic beverage of choice), but we spent a considerable amount of time in the whiskey section in the back where there was also a scotch tasting. With the array of available whiskeys, my husband had no trouble finding ones he wanted to take home with him. The challenge came in picking just one, but we left with a gorgeous bottle of bourbon whiskey from a Colorado distillery that made my husband's day. In fact, he's happily sipping the whiskey as I write this review. Thank you Mr. B's! read more

Why are some of the men who work here so condescending? This is the third time I've been in and have been turned off by the way some of them speak to customers. They asked a woman to "not let her kid run around like that" in the store which I completely understand but it was the delivery for me. You're in Stanley Marketplace which is family friendly and in Central Park? I come here because I have to but selection is small and everything is overpriced. I once asked if they carried a certain wine and one of the guys scoffed at me- we wouldn't carry that here (it was the Prisoner Cabernet which is certainly not a cheap bottle of wine). Great but no need to make me feel bad for asking? Head to Colorado Beverage Company on Central Park Blvd for better selection, prices and better attitude. read more

Such a cool spot inside Stanley marketplace. Awesome variety of unique liquors wine and beer. We loved chatting with Goose - he was so helpful and kind. Has a wealth of knowledge on just about everything. Such a fun visit at Mr B's! read more

Mr B's is an awesome addition to Stanley Marketplace! The store is super-cool. Make sure you check out the scotch vault and aviation-themed decor. I let Jared know a few wines I liked, and he gave me tons of excellent suggestions suited to my tastes. He even offered less expensive alternatives to labels I planned to get. I also found some hard-to-find bourbon I was looking for...score! They have a great selection and a convenient location. read more

This is one of the very best wine and spirit shops in all of Denver. As you know there are a lot of local and craft liquor stores in town... Mr B's staff will guide you through the selections and always work hard to help make great picks within each section. I can always find a good bottle at any price! This makes buying gifts or bringing home something great to add to dinner easy. The selection is top notch and I have been more than satisfied with every purchase. They seem to rotate sale items which makes for a good value in new discoveries too. The best part of this experience buying booze is the great service they offer! If you want good advice buying a new flavor then this is going to be exactly where you want to shop. They are also loyal to their repeat customers and offer a reward system, as well as regular tasting opportunities. Lucky for me we live close by so we can walk over and bring something great home, but whats best about this location is that alcohol can be consumed on site. Grab a bottle and some food from any of the businesses and find a seat in the communal area and pop the top and enjoy! read more

I went into the store looking for the makings of a Manhattan--my hubby's favorite drink. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I'd go there every time if I lived in Denver. I live in Reno, NV, but the staff was friendly and great! Definitely recommend them! read more

Mr. B's isn't just the best liquor store in Denver. It's one of the best liquor stores anywhere in the country. Their combination of beer selection, customer service, and all-around booze knowledge is unparalleled. The staff will always help you find the perfect drink for any occasion, whether you are looking for a rare, barrel-aged beer for a beer aficianado, a locally brewed craft lager for your dad who typically only drinks Miller Lite, or a cheap crowd-pleasing wine for a dinner party. It's an absolute must-stop for anyone looking for the best products that Denver has to offer in beer, wine, and liquor. In addition to their top-notch product selection, Mr. B's contributes to the Denver booze culture in so many other ways. They collaborate on brewing beers with some of the top breweries across the state and country, which are consistently excellent. They regularly host special release events, during which you will may find rare beer and liquor releases that you won't find on shelves anywhere else. They even host festivals to showcase unique products such as raw, natural wines. Mr. B's is one of the cornerstones of what makes Denver such a great community and destination for booze enthusiasts. read more

Anytime I'm feeling like getting my drink on, I head over to Mr B's and allow their team to figure the rest out. They consistently offer up advice on great mixed drink pairings and specialty wines among their extensive selection. They also have a rewards program which is nice. Would recommend in the future and have already recommended to friends/family. read more

Like a kid in a candy store, I love exploring wine/spirit shops around town and beyond. Mr B's is up there on the list in terms of carrying different products and offering a unique experience for their customers. Once you get your bearings within the Stanley, it's full speed ahead to Mr B's. It's close to the middle of everything, and I'm not just saying that because my radar gleans towards wine. It's really close to the middle of the airport hangar-turned-mall. They have a little bit of everything: wine, beer (on the shelves and cold in the fridge), spirits, mixers, even airplane sized bottles behind the counter. There's also canned wine or single cans/bottles of beer if you're drinking for one. It's very convenient if you're leaving Stanley and headed to a picnic or party... stop right in on your way out! Or if you live nearby, it's likely the nicest liquor store within miles, so make it a destination on its own. Pricing is on the higher end, so don't expect the yellow sticky tagged booze here. Most of their brands are well-known enough and probably won't be found on a dusty clearance shelf anytime soon. Bonus for Hitching Post rose! read more

the bearded man at the register went from laughing with his co workers to giving me a dry and uninterested attitude when I checked out. my friend was asked to join a rewards program and I was not. While I frequent the downtown spot more, this location is always great when I am in the area! I love the selection and the people are fun and friendly. They helped me pick out a couple of great bottles of wine since I had a tasting event and the rule was to bring "foreign" bottles (not my specialty). Each one was a crowd pleaser! If you're in the area, stop in, you can't go wrong! read more

Such a beautiful shop! Staff always points me in the right direction! Awesome rewards program. I won't shop anywhere else!

Awesome selection of wine, beer, and spirits. I love their vault but my wallet and wife do not! Employees are awesome and very friendly. And the Dums Dums keep my toddler happy while I shop. I was running some errands and went in to buy some wine for dinner. My nephew was with me and as I was purchasing the wine they asked for my nephew's I.D. First of all, he's not of age and secondly, he didn't have his ID. Since he didn't have his ID I wasn't allowed to purchase wine. I was told this was "store policy". I've never experienced anything like this. If I had my 4 and 2 yr old daughter with me are they getting ID'd as well? This seemed very unreasonable along with their prices. I've bought wine here numerous times and I won't be going back. read more

They have a very unique whiskey/bourbon selection- not huge, but different bottles than the average store around here. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Loved the selections he helped me make once I tasted. Will be back! read more

If we could give this place no stars, we would. We purchased alcohol from this store and a woman who worked there yelled at us about parking in their designated area. We explained that we purchased liquor from there store and she continued to scream at us. She swore at us, waved at us aggressively, and continued to yell at us even though we were leaving. When I politely told her "there is no reason to be rude we are leaving", she screamed at us and told us we were rude. If you like really rude people and really overpriced liquor, this is the place for you. read more

Who is Mr B and how do I become his best friend? For someone who likes to imbibe on the regular, this spot is where it's at. Located right in the middle of Stanley Marketplace, Mr B's feels boutiquey but laid back. Their giant rosé collection caught my eye first--these guys have an amazing assortment of my summer sip of choice. They also have all of the different types of Underwood canned wines--another fad that I will whole heartedly support. They've got a selection of local kombucha and some great sodas in stock, on the off chance that you're not feeling boozy just yet. I didn't check out the beer/spirits section as thoroughly as I did the vino, but from what I could tell, their selection was fabulous. There were two gentlemen working who were quick to offer help and suggestions. They also mentioned that a wine club was in the works, which I would be all about. From their Facebook page it looks like the also do tastings (they had a scotch tasting about a month ago), and I would love to see some mixology classes here! Such a great addition to the Stan Fam in Aurora--I'll most definitely be back! read more

Located inside the Stanley Marketplace hides Mr.B's. As a big craft beer fan, I can always seem to find something new to try and enjoy. I'm a big Pipeworks fan and if you stop by on the right day you might find Ninja V. Unicorn. If you follow their Facebook they consistently post new items they get in. They have great whisky selections as well and if you sign up for their mailer and you can find out about wine and whisky tastings. Staff has always been friendly and always spot on with recommendations. Don't change a thing Mr.B! read more

Mr. B's is one of my favorite beer stops. It is tucked away in the Stanley Marketplace and I stop in every time we are there. They have a nice selection of beer, wine, and liquor. I will usually grab a 6 pack of beer and my wife grabs a bottle of wine. I can't speak to the wine or liquor, but they have such a nice variety of beer. Whenever I am in the mood to try something new this is where I go. Plus, they carry beer from 4Noses which isn't too common in Aurora for some reason. Also, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they are always willing to offer suggestions or recommendations. They will continue to get my business and I highly recommend you check this place out. read more

This is your best option for unique beer, wine, or spirits on the east side of town. I can't wait to never shop here again. I had a 45 minute interview with 'the staff' that had me sitting down & them (all guys) standing up with their dicks in my face for 45 minutes. I spent 45 minutes interviewing to have the 'manager' call me the wrong name at the end of it. Owner seemed nice. Avoid at all costs is you dislike toxic men. The ballpark location seemed to have multiplied the toxicity & the small dick energy. Seriously disappointing after thinking they had a good selection. read more
