    Selection a little limited, prices were on par for Denver. Staff was nice. All good, 1/2 mile from home, why not?

    Half the reason I go here is to see the dogs! They add so much character to the store. Selection is decent, though could be better.

    Ordered online for pickup. Called me to advise an item I had ordered was not in stock [only…read morementioning 1 item]. The item I ordered included both a bottle of bourdon and 2 premium glasses. They offered the same bottle but no glasses (obviously a less expense item) for the same price I already prepaid with my credit card. I countered with an item that was also on my ordert that was slightly more expensive. They said no. I canceled my order and created a new order (as was discussed with a store representative]. As I was picking up my order at the store, I asked if they would get it ready shortly after I placed my revised order online. After roughly 10 minutes I called the store as there online portal was still showing the store has yet to recieve my order. They informed me they had recieved my revised order shortly after it was placed. At this tiem I was informed that another item was not in stiock - this item was on the original order. I was not informed on the first call and only when I called to check the status of my revised order was I informed another item was not in stock. Had to cancel this order as well. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOT WANTING TO DO WHATS BEST FOR THE CUSTOMER. OKAY FOR ME TO PURCHASE SOMETHING OF LESSER VALUE FOR THE SAME PRICE, BUT THEY WERE UNWILLING TO TO DO THE SAME.

I have been going to this liquor store for over 20 years but because of their poor customer service. A friend and I went into Chambers Place Liquors on 6/25/24 and the entire incident took place within a 10-minute time frame. I bought a case of beer and a jar of coconut cream and a jar of Cream Dark Chocolate Coffee moonshine for a total of $97.26. I bought them to surprise my sister because we enjoy the new flavored moonshine and we each try to find and surprise each other with new flavors. The clerk placed the 2 jars in a small bag and the beer had a handle. As soon as we walked out the door the bag slipped, right outside the door. I asked my friend to please go back inside with the crushed jar and tell them what happened and ask them to replace it. Long story short, we were told that it was our fault, and they would not replace it. Because I worked in state government for over 30 years, I am a firm believer in providing and receiving good customer service. Honestly, I was so shocked when the manager said it was our fault and just shrugged that I walked out wondering what type of manager thinks the best option is to risk losing a customer, not to mention a 25+ year customer, for a $20 jar of moonshine. I did drop the bag, but we didn't leave and come back, we literally walked out the door and the bag slipped from my arms, we only made it to the sidewalk! I'm especially pissed because I really wanted to try the coconut cream, and of course that's the jar that broke!
