I would like to start off by saying this store is immaculate and had an amazing selection and I had no problems with the store itself. Where the problem lies is after purchasing our items we loaded up in the car after taking a photo of a liquor we have been searing for for months and the owner stumbled out (seemingly drunk) and was taking photos and accusing us of stealing form the store. We offered to show him our items and receipts to which his reply was "fu*k you fu*king bit*c". I was a scary experience as he was slurring, spitting and was almost in the window of our car yelling at us for something that was untrue. read more

Wife and I call this store Shang-gri-la. It looks small on the outside, but it's HUGE on the inside. Employees are super nice, prices are relatively similar to other liquor stores. Amazing store read more

Today was the first time I've been to CBC. They have a wonderful selection of wine, beer and hard liquor. The staff if friendly and helpful. They have tastings on Friday and Saturday. I love it! read more

Incredible selection of local and non local craft beer including iconic beer from all over the US. I've always wanted to try Heady Topper and Focal Banger from Alchemist and thanks to these guys I was able to. Be sure to check out the back fridge for specialty beer. The staff was equally impressive. They were able to provide solid recommendations on beer & wine and you can tell that they are passionate about what they do. If I lived full time in this part of town I'm certain this would be my regular haunt. A beautiful store with an amazing selection of good and proper wines. What does that mean? Well, to me it means you can find a decent selection of everyday, drinkable wines at an affordable price (& maybe find a new one, too), as well as party wines- the kind you want to bring as a hostess gift for a special event. Literally the worst shopping experience over ever had. The manager nico stared at me and my friend as if we were stealing. It was seriously the most uncomfortable experience I've ever had. We even tried to joke with nico and he still treated us as if we were criminals. And the other employee Jen was staring my friend down the whole time. This store is NOT BLACK PEOPLE FRIENDLY. UPDATE 7/17/19: I have received messages from employees at this store that were dismissive of my experience and accused me of "trying to make everything about race" instead of apologizing for a misunderstanding or being accountable for their lack of professionalism. Im appalled. Im simply here to share my experience so that no other consumer has to go through this. You guys seriously need to do better. read more

I have gone here for years, and find the service to be top notch, the ambiance to be bright, energizing, and inviting, and the food selections are surprisingly good for a local shop. All of that without mentioning they have 40 doors of cooler space, chilled wine, hard to find beers, fancy liquor and liqueurs, an excellent wine selection, and knowledgeable staff to help me find exactly what I am looking for at a reasonable price! read more

Called a TON of liquor stores between Wyoming and Missouri looking for a bottle of whiskey that I really wanted. Talked to a manager yesterday who said they had 3 bottles, and said that she would set one to the side for me to pick up the next day. Got a call today saying that the bottle that I had reserved had been sold by another manager. Was about to make a 5.5 hour drive to pick up this bottle. So glad that I didn't. But if they say they will set something aside for you, don't believe it. Sold it out from under me. Glad I don't live near this place. read more

Looked all around Denver and Aurora for one of my favorite craft beers and was starting to be disappointed when I called Colorado Beverage Company. The woman talked to on the phone said they had it! Went and grabbed a good sized stash and definitely will be back to grab more stock when I need it! read more

Best liquor store I've been to anywhere. The owner is a great guy who has fulfilled on every special request I've ever asked. I want a case of hard to get watermelon hefeweizen? DONE. I want a case of something they have run out of and don't plan to carry? YUP. Now it's in-stock all the time. The team is always so happy when you walk in and super knowledgeable about all the types of alcohol that you might enjoy. Worth the trip from anywhere in Denver to find an awesome micro brew or interesting bourbon. read more

Having lived in Stapleton for 14 years this was by far the best experience not only at a liquor store but any retail establishment in the neighborhood. Mike (owner) spent over an hour walking me through the different varieties of wine and helped me choose the perfect gift for a client as well as an excellent wine for my wife. read more

Went in to see if they had a particular beer my husband likes and they did! They also had a sign on the cooler door reading all Sam Adam's 12 pack on sale $14.99 regularly $17.99. This made our day so we grabbed 4 of the 12 packs of Sam Adam's Octoberfest and went up to the register where they rang up $17.99. We told the guy at the register about the sign, hes new and had to ask the lady working with him to check. The lady walks to the back and comes back with a different sign and tells us a different beer is on sale. My husband walked back with her and showed her the sign we looked at, she took it down and made a phone call (I'm assuming to her boss) and then tells us Octoberfest isnt part of the sale...no mention of that on the sale sign! My husband took a picture of the sale sign. Wish I knew how to post it here.very unsatisfied by this establishment and will not be back. Also telling everyone I know not to shop here. read more
