Where the problem lies is after purchasing our items we loaded up in the car after taking a photo of a liquor we have been searing for for months and the owner stumbled out (seemingly drunk) and was taking photos and accusing us of stealing form the store. We offered to show him our items and receipts to which his reply was "fu*k you fu*king bit*c". I was a scary experience as he was slurring, spitting and was almost in the window of our car yelling at us for something that was untrue.

They've got a pretty good selection of Colorado micro brews especially considering that it's a smaller place, and they tend to have some good seasonal ones. The only boxed wine I've seen there is Franzia, and I don't think they have that refrigerated. But if you're buying a box of Franzia, as Matt P. would say, "How about if you just give me $5 and I'll kick you in the nuts? It's the same thing."

I have never been in there and couldn't find what I was looking for - helpful hint here is talk to the shop owners if you are looking for something specific....it is likely behind the register! Both of the owners (brothers) are always courteous, ask how my family is doing (and actually remember our last conversation) and make sure I get the coldest beer/wine available. For those complaining about the condition of the store, you have to understand the original shops on that block were made by and for the community prior to gentrification - this liquor store included. Unfortunately, many of the businesses on the block are long gone (who remembers the Chinese spot where that bakery is now, or the funeral home where the gelato place is, or the abandoned soul food place in the white house near the fish shop, or the mechanic shop where the cross fit is?)...wish the neighborhood I grew up in was still the same. The liquor store owners are a hardworking family and should be supported by the neighborhood they live and work in. I'd had to see this spot vanish like the other places I mentioned.
