Unfortunately, it turns out the original Mr. Bill is no longer involved or around and those that have replaced him are not living up to his great reputation. They rescheduled twice, no showed once, and when they finally came were late, did not come prepared to do the inspection they were hired to do. When asked for the records for work they had previously done on the property they could not produce. I will never recommend them again. Our well pump failed on a Monday waited until Friday to get a quote from a competitor who needed to talk to his "sales guy" before giving an absurd quote. Then after asking around we were recommended to call Mr Bill who could give us a quote immediately over the phone for a much much more reasonable price. I felt taken advantage of and would not do business with these guys again. He told me the pump controller was bad and he had one I could buy from them so I drove up to Arlington and bought it and installed it. It didn't work. He then told me if I had them install a new pump system with tank they would refund me for the unused controller. I said OK. They came and installed the new system (7k) but then he would not refund for the unused controller stating there are no returns on electrical devices, even though he had already made this offer prior to hiring them. I thought that was a very lame move and bad business. If you weren't sure it was a controller problem you shouldn't have sold it to me, and if you weren't gonna refund it when it wasn't the controller you should've made that clear instead of saying that you would. What am I gonna do with a pump controller? He said you can sell it on eBay for half of what I paid them two days earlier for it. Wow great idea! Thanks for that. To cap things off when they pulled the old greasy pump and wires out, they just left them in the yard along with the tank box. The system works fine, but I was left with a bad taste in my mouth, junk in my yard to clean up and an extra $900 controller I have no use for. I worked with Mr Bill senior 15 years ago and it was wonderful so I gave him several referrals and went back but Mr Bill Junior is quite arrogant and definitely not customer friendly. I think he easily could've saved me quite a bit on this job with a couple of suggestions and better communication but he seems far more interested in what's convenient for him and makes him more money. read more

Honest and reliable service. We were having an emergency water issue, and other companies quoted us $17,400 to replace our well pump. Bill came out to trouble shoot, found a wire that was grounded out, and repaired it. It took him over an hour in the pouring rain to find the problem and fix it. Recently purchased a new home, and the original company I had out for the inspection was quoting me $40k between new pump system to get rid of failed bacteria and "engineer" work to get rid of failed arsenic. It smelled bad to me, so I called around for a few second opinions and Bill was not only quick to respond, but he was thorough in going through the estimate I was given and explaining how much of it was necessary and how much was fluff. When he came out after closing, he spent a lot of time troubleshooting and figuring out the well system that had developed onsite over the years and talked me through what he had learned, what he suggested and why. During the inspection he explained each step of his process (very educational!) and advised me of indicators to watch for that might indicate my system is in trouble. He was able to quickly replace a control box (he had one in his vehicle) after showing me the damaged one I had. Truly I would not even give him one star. He did text when he was on his way, but 3 times before he was actually on his way. Arrived Very late and then because we live on a farm and have extra vehicles and tools in our yard and animals he left. He said he was coming right back but once gone he texted and said he would not be helping me, apparently in his words it looked like we live on an Indian Reservation, that DOES NOT insult or offend me buddy!!!!, I am more offended that I almost gave work to a man who still thinks like this or at the very least gives that impression.All the extra cars ,he felt it was a low class property and wasn't for him. Luckily a friend returned our call and was able to look at a picture we sent and he and my other half fixed it via a phone call. Might be a nice guy , others experiences may be different, I choose to believe the best in everyone and I hope that this is just our experience and it was just a bad day. Mr Bill's Well Drilling & Pump Service literally saved me several thousand dollars today. I am selling my house and the buyers hired a company to conduct a well system inspection. The report came back saying my pressure tank was water logged and needed to be replaced and also the motor control cover for the submersible pump and all he fittings needed to be replaced. The estimate for the said work was over $2,000.00 pus labor. I called Bill for a second opinion, he talked me through several tests over the phone, and then came out for a service call to look at the tank. He found the pressure tank needed some air, other than that the tank, and the system was working fine. If you need your well inspected and service call Mr Bill. He is honest and professional and doesn't try to scare you into buying a lot of unnecessary equipment if your system is working. read more

I recommend Mr Bill's Well and pump. I needed to replace my well pump. I took pictures of the old pump and requested several quotes from businesses. Bill answered my email right away and we soon talked on the phone. He told me details about what I needed and came out to my property to confirm everything. DO NOT USE MR. BILL'S! I cannot emphasize this enough. We hired him to upgrade our existing well to service two homes that are being built on our property. He up-sold us on equipment in order to provide both homes with enough water and water pressure. This required us to build a very large well house to hold all of the equipment. He required additional electrical for a heater in order to warrantee his install. When it was all said and done, we spent an extra $15k. Then we get notified by the health department that our well does not have a certified seal. Mr. Bill filled out the well log where he listed that he did not know if a well seal existed. Yet he continued to make costly suggestions for a well that we were never going to be able to use for its intended purpose. He should have known. This is supposed to be his area of expertise. Now we have to spend an additional $13k to dig and house a new well. Nearly $30k spent for his mistake! He will not accept responsibility for his mistake. I have consulted with many people in the well industry and Snohomish county. It's clear to them that this is his issue. In addition to this epic screw up, he did not do a clean install. The equipment is haphazardly put together. We need to have someone clean up his sloppy install. Plus, his attitude was awful. He's extremely rude to the customer and the crew working onsite (even before this issue came to light). Please learn from my mistake. You can do so much better with another well provider...Mr. Bill has zero customer service skills, he is not an expert in his field, his prices are inflated and his final product is sloppy. We had 'Mr Bill's Well Drilling & Pump Service' out to replace two well pressure tanks in a house we recently purchased in Camano.  He showed up with his son and immediately seemed annoyed with the existing setup despite his company's stickers being all over the old equipment.  The installation did not go as expected.  He connected the electrical incorrectly and caused our breakers to flip and a part to be replaced.  He deflected the blame for this and said it was due to the existing set up instead of his work.  After the installation completed the water quality was noticeably bad in smell and taste.  I texted him about this for well over a week and his responses were short, sarcastic, & borderline unprofessional.  He suggested turning off one of the wells instead of going back out to confirm he connected to the correct wells.  I asked why he didn't test both wells to confirm which had the better quality water, he called this test an 'annoyance test' and said "Nothing is free" then asked why I didn't ask for it initially.  My expectation was that the person we had out to perform this service would have suggested this test. This was not the case.  There is a lot more I can say about this company to reflect their poor level of service. If you have made it this far I think you get the idea. I asked local Arlington Facebook communities for recommendations for a well pump repair place. Overwhelmingly, Mr Bill's was named over and over again so I called. At first, I was put off by the casualness of his scheduling. He wanted to come by "Monday or Tuesday sometime..." to look at our system. I work, live, and die by a strict schedule and pressured him to commit to a time. He never showed up for that appointment and when I called, he admitted to forgetting about it. At this time you are probably wondering why the 5-stars, and I can totally understand that. I happen to believe that people can rise above a bad first impression. So I gave him a second chance naturally. I'm in customer service myself, and *&%# happens even when we don't intend it to. He told me he would come by any evening I wanted after work in his off hours and he'd look at our well. He came that night. It was a very long visit and I was blown away by the amount of time he spent here. My husband and I didn't just get a estimate for repair, but also an education on our entire well and water situation for the whole house and property. This went so far above and beyond anything we expected. Since we weren't the original installers, and the 3rd home owner, this was so valuable to us. It had all just been a mystery before his visit. We felt the estimate for replacing our pump was more than fair and actually less than what we were stressing out about what it might be. The repair itself, again, he took his time and explained in detail what was happening every step of the way. You could tell he enjoyed it too....talking about his work. That is the kind of person anyone should hope to hire, someone with passion for doing a good and thorough job. The bonus here is the educating and building confidence in your customer, then they'll call you back. Mr Bill's did that here. The yard was cleaned up, no evidence that they had been there. We have such great water supply and pressure, even better than before. I will always recommend Mr Bill's and would call them again in a minute....and actually look forward to their visit. read more

We called Mr. Bill for some help dealing with smelly well water from our faucets. He is local and we drive by the business every day, so we gave him a try. We scheduled an appointment and he arrived ahead of schedule. The well needed to be shocked with a bleach solution to help clean out the pipes. He completed the shock process, replaced the water filter, and was on his way in less than an hour. No extra charges, no BS - just honest work and a fair price. as first-time customers, we know who to call when we have any issues with our well or water system. read more

Bill is very high priced and I feel he took advantage of a young couple who didn't know much about their well. Back story. I had a well installed at a home in Arlington, Mr Bill bid on installing the pressure tank and plumbing. He described the parts and method he would use as we talked about the job. His bid was much more than his competitors at the time so I chose someone else and they used the same brand parts and method as he had described to me. A few years later I sold that house in 2016 and the buyer happened to hire Mr. Bill for a "well inspection". He charged them $700! to look at it and then he said the filter needed to be relocated, which of course he would do for another $700! They agreed, but shouldn't have. The filter was installed in the right spot as he had described. I think service guys should get a fair price for their labor, but his prices seemed predatory to me. In addition, moving the filter wasn't necessary in the first place. Putting that aside, moving the filter was less than an hours work. The plumbing was PVC pipe so cutting it and moving it was just two couplers and a 12" patch pipe. Since the buyers paid for it, it doesn't impact me but I hate to see people being taken advantage of. In this case I think Bill did take advantage of them since they didn't know anything about wells. I wonder if that is also why he doesn't accept credit cards? Cash only. I wonder if he is worried about not getting paid after folks figure out they've been taken advantage? I'm not sure, but every reputable service company I've dealt with accepts debit or credit cards. read more

Mr Bill Bevers ripped me off. He quoted me a range between $2,800 to $3,400 on the phone. The price was to include a brand new well pump costing $1,700. Instead of getting a brand new pump, he decided to just replace the motor, which was $1,000 less than a whole new pump. Then he changed me $450 for wire. $700 +$450=$1,150 $1,700-$1,150=$550 So my bill should have been $550 less. Instead he tacked the difference onto the labor charging me $2,880 for 2 hours of labor. That is a whopping $1,440 an hour. My total bill was over $3,800, instead of the max of $3,400 total he quoted me. I told him I was a single mom on a budget. He did not have to take advantage of me, but he did. DON'T USE MR. BILL BEVER'S SERVICE. HE WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. HE IS NOT AN HONEST MAN. OMG - Mr Bill's Well Service wrote a note by the sticker they put on my well tank. My pump was originally at 205' according to county records, his note says he put the pump at 165'. That's 40 feet higher than what it is supposed to be. He charged me for 205' of wire and 40' of pipe is missing. Must be why my water slowed down so much during the draught we had this last summer. He comes across as such an honest man. read more

Mr Bill's is a family owned & operated company by father and son. We had them out to look at installing a water treatment system for our home on a well. We bought the house recently but it had been built in 1984. Mr Bill's had done work on the home previously some years earlier. Bill Jr came out quickly, explained thoroughly what he could do to help and provided a reasonable quote for the service. He installed it quickly as well. A couple days after the install our pump stopped working and our tank was empty of water. I called Bill Jr again and he came over the next morning and got the pump working again within about 30min time approximately and that was without charge. I would recommend them for responsiveness, integrity, fair pricing and hard work to ensure your satisfaction. read more

We just bought a house with a well and were having some problems with it. I called Bill & he came out right away. He established that the well needed to be pumped out to clear out the sediment that had built up at the bottom of the well. He referred us to a local company to come pump it out. We called them & they will be out Tuesday. He didn't even charge us for his trip out to the house or his time. I give Mr. Bill's a 5 star rating. I appreciated his being quick to come out, and his treating us fairly. I had called 3 other local well companies that day.
