So on a whim, I decided to use GrubHub to deliver food and found this restaurant. I looked up their…read morewebsite and reviews online and decided to try it out. I'm always on the hunt for a good Chinese restaurant as someone who is Chinese American and grew up near San Francisco. Food: Fried pork with salted fish over rice was 5/5. Delicious, savory, and just hit the spot. The pork was thinly sliced and tender. Though I could subtly taste the salted fish in the sauce, I did not see any pieces of the salted fish which was a bit disappointing. However, the ginger and scallions and peppers added a beautiful heat to the dish. (It made me think of a milder version of a Cantonese dish with steamed ground pork, water chestnuts and salted fish but less fish flavor). Kam Heong chicken with rice was also tasty. They used white meat which is not my favorite but it wasn't dry. The lemongrass really shines in the dish. I've never had it before any where else so I googled what was in it and ordered it since it sounded good. Has a bit of heat to it too which I always like. I had read another review where they said it was like home style cooking and I have to agree. Definitely some unique dishes that cannot be found anywhere else around here. Pricing seemed reasonable too which is always a plus. I will have to order more from them soon! I love finding a new Asian place to eat in Tulsa! Excited to try more Malaysian-Chinese dishes!

Like hundreds of cities in America, Tulsa is home to lots of East Asian restaurants. Everything…read morefrom your quick takeout to upscale hibachi. Yet and still, there are few restaurants that consistently deliver on 3 of the most important consumer qualities: ambiance, food, and service. As a local Asian Fusion restaurant that embraces both cuisine and ambiance, Roka sets itself apart from most Asian restaurants with their cutting-edge menu items, inviting happy hour deals and consistent service. I didn't eat out often growing up but I vividly remember passing Roka & fantasizing what it's like inside given it's one of a kind design. I was first impressed by their fried rice when ordering out in 2015 but this review is regarding my visit on October 25th, 2025. A dear friend of mine invited me out on a Saturday and I suggested Roka, one of the most reliable restaurants in town. We arrived around 4pm and, to my surprise, there was plenty of seating available. We were sat by the host and our server came shortly after. I can't recall her name but she did have great suggestions and delivered quality service. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken (reg) while my friend ordered the Sweet & Sour (sm.). The meal arrived in almost record time! I was delighted to look at our colorful, carefully assembled, plates. My meal had a considerable serving size and an even better taste. The chicken was soft, tender and juicy. With compliments from the peppers & rice, I couldn't have been more satisfied. My friend (who is picky) wasn't a fan of the mix of peppers & pineapple but I think she liked it more than she cared to admit. Overall, I had the most pleasant afternoon at Roka thanks to the everpleasing service and most tranquil of settings. It's important to show appreciation to the institutions that you enjoy, which is why I will continue to support/enjoy! Roka provides a welcoming venue, satisfactory menu items and superb service upon every visit which sets itself apart from most other Asian restaurants and above chains like P.F. Changs or Hibachis. If you're in the mood for an affordable upscale dinner with great vibes, this is the place to visit.

I usually end up coming alone for a happy hour bite in the late…read moreafternoon because they have a few fresh roll options that are well discounted, apps, and drinks, and sometimes I just want to enjoy a decent bite alone before heading into an evening of networking or family stuff. It's also a great spot for date night, friends meet up, etc. prime location for a before a show at the TPAC meal, and not far from the ONEOK field either. Service tends to be a little slow. Food is great, so if you have time to spare a bit, it's worth it, especially when ordering happy hour. The servers tend to be less chatty and friendly, but still professional. The environment is fun. My prefect happy hour here looks like the tempura fries with a golden driller roll. Throw a drink on if you want. When I was drinking, the lotus was a fun drink.

We also ordered the tempura sweet potato fries, which had way too much breading and really didn't taste like tempura. One person in our group ordered a gin and tonic and could barely taste any gin in the drink. Our server was friendly, but unfortunately didn't seem very knowledgeable about the happy hour menu or the drink selections, which made ordering a little frustrating. Overall, the food, drinks and experience just didn't meet our expectations. There are too many other good options in Tulsa, so unfortunately we won't be back.

My favorite boba spot in Oklahoma and in North Carolina! Please come open up a spot here in Raleigh…read morebecause nothing comes even close. I recommend the Thai tea and Taro! Make sure you read the menu on the TV for instructions on how to order - basically pick the size, the type of drink you want (milk tea or smoothie or slushee) then flavor, then add-ons. Price is insanely low too, I can get two larges here for basically the same cost of one large anywhere else. Local businesses for the win!

The boba tea scene in Tulsa is really lacking. It's just not thriving like other cities. It's…read morereally struggling. Could it be a lack of investment or is it Tulsa itself? Maybe a little bit of both? Hey Boba reminds me of the boba tea shops in San Antonio, TX. It's privately owned and not a franchise. Because of this reason, there is no regulation on the products the shop uses. If you are used to milk tea from popular boba tea franchises like Tapioca Lounge, Sharetea, Gongcha, Tiger Sugar, and even Kung Fu Tea, then I am sorry to say...the milk tea at Hey Boba and similar privately owned boba tea shops taste "diluted" and sometimes "powdery." Hey Boba tea does not taste powdery though, but does taste diluted. I want to support local businesses which is why I gave it a 4 stars. For me, the best boba tea shop in Tulsa is Kung Fu Tea even though Kung Fu Tea is my least favorite out of all the boba tea franchises.
