Not just adobada! They make the best tacos in town! I stopped riding my motorcycle to get tacos in Tijuana once I found Mr. Adobada. Their meat is fresh and their truck is CLEAN. They will take the time to make your tacos just how you like them. They have free beans, grilled onions and grilled peppers. Although they also sell carne asada fries and California burritos, their menu is authentic very well served. I lived in Mexico half my life and these tacos are on par with the best tacos I had in my village. Just look for the red food truck and also try their Birria food truck. Good for groups, to go and catering too

My best friend and I were craving some tacos for the night. We stumbled upon this location, what caught our attention were these nice patio lights they had for decor. We get there and the vibe was very welcoming and uplifting with good music playing. I went ahead and placed my order of 3 tacos de adobada w/everything, 2 tacos de tripa extra cooked w/everything and a agua de jamaica. When I get called to get my food and requested their spiciest salsa which was mango habanero. I sat down and prepared my tacos with lime and salsa. That first bite I take was intense, so much flavor from the adobada meat and that burst from the mango habanero salsa. It was heaven in my mouth, I didn't want it to end. But unfortunately my stomach couldn't take anymore tacos after the five I ate. I'm going again today for round two though hehe! I highly recommend this location! I wish avocados weren't so expensive. Cause that would have made the tacos whole. Also, great prices!

The food was pretty good, the horchata was the bomb but Me and friends all got horrible food poisoning. This is the only meat we ate all day, we had fruit for breakfast then this in the late afternoon and by night time we were throwing up.

This has definitely become my go-to Taco Truck. I am in love with the Adobada Tacos. Tuesdays are my favorite because it's Taco Tuesday and the Adobada tacos are $0.99 each. The sauces are amazing and I love how you get the grilled onions and peppers. Right down the street from that Tacos El gordo place but so much better. 5 Stars.

Mr.Fries. Cheese isn't even melted and the meat is cold .

The owner of the food truck is the worst person ever ! she's RUDE to her employees ! Never keeps business professional, always has to talk bad about people and makes rumors ! She doesn't care about her client's satisfaction just the money. the food here is disgusting and the place is always DIRTY ! please don't waste your time at this location ! I was excited to eat here but was very disappointed.

Just as good as tacos El Gordo without the wait - you can order over the phone and just pick them up.

Just be more patient and mindful that they're doing the best they can Food 5/5 -mixed(surtido) and cheek(cachete) tacos, meat is TENDER. I honestly can't taste the difference between the two, I just knew I wanted to keep eating them(even after eating 3). Sturdy tortillas so the tacos weren't falling apart as I was eating, I also really liked that each table had two squeeze bottles of salsa, so convenient -orden/order, if you come here, you have to order this soup with the head meat. It's the essence that sums up the restaurant, it's a little peppery with the sweetness from the diced onions and meaty goodness. It comes with about 4 tortillas and there's a lot of meat in the soup to be made into more tacos Ambiance 5/5 -restaurant was full of people eating food happily(obviously the food was delicious) and there was a guy that sang for donations and vendors that came through selling trinkets, just a mixing pot of life and happy place to eat

You have to try this place!…read more It's one of my family's favorite seafood spots. I've had the pulpo tostada and taco multiple times and they're always amazing, super fresh and never overcooked. I usually get the macho sauce on the side so I can spice it up to my level lol. My family has also tried the tuna tostada, micheladas, chilaquiles, and even Dino nuggets for the kids, everything has been consistently great every time we go. The service is always on point, the ambiance is nice, and it's in a great central location. We usually stop by Wood Market afterward to grab a few things. Highly recommend! definitely a spot we'll keep coming back to. Also, shoutout to the Convoy location, it's just as good!

Even though we were a bit late for the breakfast menu, they still let us order the Smoked fish, Gobernador, and Pork Belly-quiles. I loved the flavors, and it had just the right amount of spice I prefer. I also had a Mango-rita that snuck up on me in a good way. We each tried all three plates, and all agreed they were sumptuous. Everyone running the restaurant was super friendly and accommodating to special diet needs as well. I'm glad we tried this establishment. It was quite busy that day, but there was still plenty of parking, and they had booths to sit and enjoy the experience. Portions were large - we all had leftovers to take home. I would love to come back and try more of the menu!

I'm from Virginia and i have always said…read more**"i don't like tacos" it wasn't until my recent trip to San Diego that i ate my words (literally). These tacos were delicious, juicy, packed, and crafted so wonderfully. The people were very nice, and i loved that they had the salsas at the table with chili oil. I had never thought that chili oil would be good with tacos? But it works! The carne asada here is the star of the show. We had a al pastor one and it was ok but not better than the carne. This place was so good we came twice on our trip (we had wanted to try new restaurants every day but this place was so good we had to come again) - now we did go to Tacos el Gordo and all I'll say is if you love carne asada go to Chulas, but if you like a pork taco go to Tacos el Gordo! **One of my main issues with tacos is that the tortillas are thin/dry? I'm a handmade kind of tortilla person don't like the banderitas brand style of tortillas - now they said they didn't make these by hand but they're definitely not the prepackaged ones.

First, I ordered an adobada taco. The meat wasn't cooked properly on the trompo why ? :( then they threw it on the grill and ended up burning it. That completely defeats the point of even having a trompo if you're just going to burn the meat afterward. It had a bitter, burnt taste. Next, I got a carne asada taco, and it was completely overcooked and dry:(honestly, drier than the Mojave Desert. The tortilla was hard and didn't taste fresh at all. Nothing about the tacos tasted like the quality I remember. The customer service was just as disappointing. I stood in front of the carne asada guy for about 5 minutes before he even acknowledged me. What made that worse was that there were no other customers there t wasn't busy at all. The workers seemed more focused on talking and laughing with each other than paying attention to the food or the customers. I even think I saw what might've been the owner there, which makes this even more frustrating because this place used to be good. It feels like they're letting it go downhill. I'm giving this a one-star review, but I'm being honest when I say I actually want this place to get better. I'll give them one more chance in the future, but as of right now, this was a really bad experience.
