I called yesterday afternoon to schedule service. Service was scheduled for 3PM today. Cole arrived an hour ealier, because he was free, and in the neighborhood. 5 minutes after we meet, Cole diagnoses the issue to either the gas solenoids, or the gas to the dryer is shut off. He asks before replacing any parts... Is the gas valve going to the dryer turned on? The gas valve going to the dryer was not turned on. A contractor mistakingly turned that valve off a few days ago. It was worth paying the diagnostic fee, not just because Cole resolved our issue in less time than I can hold my breath, but because I'm not stressing about finding a good appliance repair service anymore.

He said I know your washer... I may have a pump in my van... send a picture of model number to make sure I'll bring it out tomorrow send me directions to your ranch. The next day he came out looked at the washer and said it's the pump. He was meticulous in taking the washer apart. Front seal of the door, top the top off ... then panel in front of the washer. Asked for a small pot to catch water from the pump. Then removed the old pump and installed the new one and put the washer back togeather . Turn it on and made it pumped water out. Armando was professional, prompt, he ssid i order the correct pump... There are pumps that are cheaper and they dont last for a few year then they brake down.
