Frank said that the car had a broken mirror and a bad tire, etc. Basically, he refused to install an engine. I asked Almar to install an engine, not tires or mirrors. After my oil change, they forgot to put my engine splash shield back on properly. The very next day, while picking my mom up from the airport, I heard a loud crash while driving. I pulled over and saw the shield dragging on the pavement. I had to lie on the hot ground and try to pop it back into place myself. In the process, I cut my hand and still had to deal with it falling off two more times before I even got home. In over 10 years of car ownership, I've never had something like this happen. Later that night, I got a notification that my oil had been overfilled. When I brought the car back the next day, they admitted that the bolts for the splash shield were never put in, and yes--they had overfilled the oil. But the worst part? Three weeks later, I took my car to the dealership and found out that the oil cap had not been put on properly, and my car had been leaking oil the entire time. Absolutely nothing was done right, and no manager ever contacted me about any of this. I've truly never had such a bad experience with car service in my life. I'll never go back to Valvoline, and I highly recommend others avoid them as well. Also my dealership is significantly cheaper.
