I am in an absolutely euphoric state right now. I went to Kaitlyn at Moxie Massage and told her I was stressed. She knew what to do. After a 90 minute Swedish Massage, I am in a state of absolute bliss. Her techniques were absolutely on point. Her conversation was nice, but it was also completely comfortable when I just needed to focus on the massage in silence. Overall she was able to pinpoint all of the areas that my body was holding my stress. She's amazing at what she does and I almost am hesitant to hit the Post Review button because I don't want her to get overly booked, but I guess I need to be unselfish for your sake and for hers. Margie and Heather are 10/10 I have an extremely busy schedule and I can't book to far in advance. They typically have same day appointment openings when I need them. Margie at Moxie Massage is great! She found the areas that were sore and tight, worked them with just the right amount of pressure, and checked in with me regularly to see how I was doing. I have visited several other establishments in Springfield, but none of them have offered the level of service I received at Moxi! Not only was the experience relating, but it was friendly and personable too. Far to often business owners are not recognized for Exceptional service and only receive feed back on the bad. I booked an appointment for my husband as an anniversary present. I booked a Saturday appointment as he works during the week. Come time of the appointment, door is locked and no one is answering calls or texts. Pretty upset I paid $75 for poor service. I will be booking elsewhere. read more

Great massage by Connie, extremely poor management by owner! My daughter ordered me a massage online before Christmas and her credit card was charged, but I have yet to receive a gift certificate. She has attempted to contact them but phone always goes to voicemail and no one ever respond to messages left. I had a similar problem awhile back when attempting to schedule a massage never got a return call. This would be a great business if the owner would stick to providing service and hire a manager. Heather, your response just provides more proof of your lack of professionalism when it comes to management. Also learn to read! I haven't been to your shop in awhile but when I was there I received several great massages from Connie! My daughter ordered me a gift certificate for Christmas to my SURPRISE, but still nothing. I was in town for work and was able to find this place for a lunch massage. They were friendly, an easy walk from the hotel and the atmosphere is lovely inside. This massage shop is hidden amongst the hustle and bustle of downtown Springfield. After meeting Heather, the owner and massage therapist, in the mall while she was doing chair massages for Rogers and Hollands Jewelers guests, I decided to give her a try. After standing all day, a massage was the perfect thing for my achy back. Heather was able to give me suggestions on what type of massage would be best to alleviate my pain. The massage was fantastic, and I have been going back on a regular basis to keep my body in-line and as a great way to relax. Well I was going to try and buy a gift certificate for a friend to go here, but after reading the reviews and seeing the way an upset customer was slammed for their feelings by the owner or manager or whatever Heather was, I just don't feel comfortable even sending my friend in there. She works in and I have worked in the customer service field and I don't care how outrageous the customers claims are, the management should ALWAYS be nice and professional. Even the best businesses in the world have off days and sometimes things slip thru the cracks. It's not right to attack the customer when you cannot say for certain what happened on their end. So just so you are aware Heather, that person's bad review in this case didn't cost you a customer, your reaction to it did! read more

Edit: just left my Swedish couples massage and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!! Comfortable, warm, and friendly. Definitely the best in town, highly recommend! Massaged based on your preference (I don't prefer super deep tissue massages, and it was perfect for me!) Can't wait to go back for another in the future! read more

I wish there was a negative rating review. This was the worse customer service I have ever received. Heather cancelled on me 30 mins before my massage so I reschedule for another day. On my rescheduled appointment Heather was an HOUR late and give me no noticed. After she arrived an hour late, she said if we hurry she could only do half of my package and didn't offer anything for me having to wait for her. Since I had purchased a 3 hour package and I didn't want her to rush through the services so she could make her next appointment, I asked for a refund. She made a big deal about me asking for a refund because she had to go to an ATM. She did not apologize one time for the hassle she had put me through and started giving me attitude because I asked for my money back. read more

This place is very unprofessional and such a joke. First off, you cant call, you have to text the owner Heather on her personal phone. I tried to make an appointment on a Saturday. When I did, I scheduled a couples massage for our anniversary at 11. We showed up and the lady in there asked if Heather had gotten a hold of me, which she hadn't. The lady told me she had been trying all morning to contact her and couldn't get ahold of her, told me she probably got drunk last night. Like?! So the lady told me if we wanted to leave and go eat she would get ahold of us if Heather contacted her. Nothing. Nothing from Heather. Nothing from the lady that took my number and said she'd let me know. I honestly have no idea how this place is still open. Even the inside of the place is small and doesn't look like what you'd expect. HEATHER needs to step it up and actually act like a business owner if she expects her joke of a place to stay open.
