Used Moxie for a recent pack and move. Both crews were professional and efficient. Items were…read morepacked carefully and everything made it from point A to point B in tact. I have no gripes with the movers themselves. The lower rating is due to a few things. Biggest issue - During the packing portion of the move, their crews used a strong, elastic, workout type band to tie back the front gate. That would have been fine other than the fact that the band they used and how they placed it on the fence/gate pulled the gate beyond the limits of the hinge and broke the frame of the gate. Things happen. I wasn't too worried about it until Moxie told me it wasn't their responsibility to fix because it was an old gate that had been repaired previously. They said "This is part of having old fixtures at your house and we are not liable for such issues." So buyer beware. If you have an older home or belongings, they are not responsible for any damage, even if they are the ones that bend it until it breaks. If you want broken stuff and a lecture these are apparently your guys. These next two I was overlooking until the gate incident happened, but since I'm already here... The booking process is confusing. You call in to speak with a rep and then you need to fill out the paperwork yourself on their website. That wasn't mentioned as a next step on the call so I spent several days waiting for follow up from them. It wasn't until I followed up that I was made aware of this process. Finally, the crew mentioned that there were a few items left at the old house, but that it wasn't much. I said that was fine without seeing what was left since it was the end of the day - my mistake. There was quite a bit left, like multiple trips over several days to get everything out which was frustrating to deal with given our personal circumstances. So that's it. If you have a new house and all new stuff you're probably fine. Not sure what their definition of old is though, so proceed with caution. All in all, poor customer service with a side of condescension...chef's kiss.
