The scheduler put us down for the wrong date. Y'all are lucky our lease wasn't up. We got a confirmation email with the correct date but whoever put us down on their official schedule has the wrong date for us. read more

I hired this company for a move on 3/15. Along with the misquote of price and wrong truck size sent for the job, they broke a piece of furniture and tried to hide it. I contacted them 2 days after the move and was assured I would be sent a check to which never arrived. I was then told I would receive a cash app or Zelle, again that never arrived. I will never use this company again and will be filing a dispute with my credit card company. read more

I hired them to move furniture and a concrete statue that belonged to my deceased mother. The movers were nice and courteous but didn't seem to know what was required. I had called to confirm everything the day before so I was confused. I called the "office" and was told moving the statue would require almost double the original price. I asked the nice movers to leave and hired Tuck who got the job done for less. read more

We just had Xpress movers give us a hand with a move and we were very pleased by the service provided. They called prior to arrival to let us know they were on the way. They assessed the move needs upon arrival, and then got busy making it all happen. When arriving at the destination, they took great care in getting our furniture and boxes moved in neatly and orderly. Everything arrived safely with no problems. Im overwhelmed at how professional, courteous, empathic and efficient my movers were. I can only hope to work with these same movers if I ever need to use this service again. An Unorganized procrastinator with hoarder tendencies, My experience with Xpress was beyond all expectations. Each of the three employees with whom I interacted was courteous, efficient and empathic wrt my panic-stricken state. And they were expert movers, proactively taking precautions with my items as they saw the need and transported them safely to their destination. They have been the MOST positive customer service experience I've had in MONTHS. read more

Xpress Movers did a wonderful job. They worked together, they were professional and friendly. They were the only moving company that actually came out to my house to give me a quote. They have one flat rate and not all the mileage and other confusing rates that the competition was offering. I will definitely use them again and would and have referred them to others! I would highly recommend Xpress Movers! I had never used professional movers before and was a little nervous about all the logistics but they were outstanding! This was a big move for me from VA to NYC and I had other moving companies say they would not even bother trying to move someone into Manhattan because it's such a headache. (Admittedly it's not an easy move but Xpress Movers were up to the task!) I cannot say enough good things about James and Thomas. They showed up on my moving day right on time (and even called to say they were on their way). They worked quickly and effficiently and took very good care to wrap all my furniture in moving pads and shrink wrap. I had a lot of things for a one bedroom apartment and they did not once comment on how many boxes there were (despite it being a flat rate fee). The next day they showed up RIGHT on time in Manhattan. They carried all my heavy furniture up a flight of very narrow stairs and brought everything in without a scratch. My things were well cared for, and I owe it to them for taking away the stress on this part of the move. I had called other moving companies and they were nearly twice as expensive and not a flat rate fee. I would definitely use these guys again and would definitely ask for James and Thomas! read more

you will never find a better moving company. this company has helped me with all my moving and storage needs for over 10 years and i have had consistent, courteous, professional and kindness shown to me that is beyond words. i honestly feel like they are part of my family. i am truly blessed to have had their help in what has been some difficult moves. for instance--- my last move was from virginia to texas. these kind (beyond belief) people drove me to my new location with a 26ft. penske truck (penske is the best also) and it was one of the most pleasant trips i've ever taken with an a++++ young man who drove me here. he then flew back to virginia from houston once he got me settled in. you will not in any way be disappointed in your decision to have an unbelievable moving experience with xpress movers.---cross my heart--- read more

I called Xpress Movers for a quote regarding an upcoming move. The customer service rep was polite and professional. He was able to work with my limited time frame and scheduled me the same day. I was very satisfied with my quote because the other local moving companies weren't flexible with their rates. Last minute moves can be pricey and Xpress gave me a quote that was fair and within my budget. The Movers were punctual, friendly and organized. They were very thorough and even cleaned some of the miscellaneous debris on the floor that I made from packing. These guys are the best professional movers I've ever used. I had a very very heavy solid wood desk/cabinet to be moved from Orange to Staunton, VA. They put pads around it and then wrapped in this huge plastic wrap. They were so careful with both pieces bringing em up a flight of stairs and taking the time to place it exactly were I wanted it and setting it up. $289 for a 74 mile trip 2-ways. Very happy, I even tipped them an extra $20 each for all they're patience and professionalism. The value was above what they charged. read more
