Needless to say I was in shock. Understanding my angst Melissa at Dixon Moving adjusted my move schedule at the last minute and worked to find me storage and took care of all the logistics. There was no way my head was in the right space to deal with this - and Mellisa took care of all of it. When I ended up moving - the crew was quick, polite and respectful of my property. When the movers arrived, every box was packed and ready to go. Based on that, I was quoted around $600 and told the move would take about three hours. I specifically asked about unexpected charges and was told that as long as everything was packed, there wouldn't be surprises. Instead, the movers spent hours opening and repacking boxes I had already packed -- work I never requested or authorized. My final bill came to $1,455.84, nearly three times the quote. I understand estimates can shift, but an $850+ jump isn't reasonable by any standard. If I'd known it could cost anywhere near $1,500, I never would have booked. Worse than the bill was what happened after: multiple emails and calls just to get a response, and when I finally did, I was offered a small refund that didn't come close to addressing the issue. Poor communication, no transparency, broken commitments, and indifference once they had my money. I would not recommend Good Greek.

I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door, and I noticed team members actively informing shoppers about the blue-tag promotion so no one missed out on the savings. This Goodwill feels like a hidden gem. Between the quality of the inventory, the organized layout, and the welcoming staff, it's worth the drive in my opinion. As an added bonus, it's only about five minutes from a great Dominican restaurant, making it easy to turn a thrifting trip into a fun afternoon outing.

I had to move my widowed elderly mom from south Florida to upstate NY close to where I live. It was very stressful for me because I work a lot of hours in my NYC job and barely had time to break away to move her up to NY. I took 3 trips back to back and packed up all her belongings, which was about 26 big boxes (no furniture since she was renting a furnished apt.). I was gonna UPS or FED EX but the costs were too expensive. Me renting a U-HAUL and driving myself was not an option because of me not being able to miss work anymore after already using 3 weeks to go down to S. Florida. I was thinking to just donate everything but that would break my moms heart. Somebody recommended Marquis (Moving Gods). If you are looking for a GREAT Moving Company, look no further than Moving Gods. I was in a big pinch, when my original moving company dropped the ball on my scheduled move from storage. To avoid additional monthly charges on my storage units, I searched for someone to quickly bail me out of my situation. I found Moving Gods through Yelp, and they responded to my request for pricing immediately. I spoke with the owner Marquis, and he offered to help me as soon as the guys were finished with their scheduled appointments that day. Marquis and Vidal drove to PSL from West Palm in rush hour traffic, performed a 3 hour move, and far exceeded my expectations . I hired Moving Gods to do a huge move from New York to Florida. These men surpassed any expectations I could've ever had. The communication about what I desired for my belongings was amazing. Every mover I had come into contact with was very helpful and hands on. He took the entire desk apart, when there was no reason to do so and the desk is now permanently damaged. The doors on our china cabinet were taken off and he had to come back to try to repair that as well. The doors still do not open and close smoothly and evenly. Don't even try to get him on the phone. He hides behind his assistant/girlfriend Michelle. Be smart, avoid this company like the plague!
