Several items were damaged or missing, including a king bed, a queen mattress, a dining table base and arm chairs. At first they let me know they were going to resolve the issue but months went by and communication from the company was inconsistent and delayed. They never provided me with a claims process or resolution. Storage charges were also erroneously billed for months after services ended. Despite filing complaints with FDACS, the company has not fully addressed the damages, and I am now pursuing small claims court for reimbursement. I do not recommend Top Notch Movers based on my experience.

As usual, I called around and searched for the best movers. Prices were ridiculous, even for the well-known local companies. I was quoted $199/hr, plus an additional charge for gas mileage used, plus etc etc etc. This was the same for every company I called, though the price per hour changed. I was even quoted $1000! Wtf?! I explained in detail to each company that I was moving within 10 miles. I had a 1/1, with only a sectional, coffee table, small entertainment center, 62 in TV, large dresser with mirror and Queen mattress with box spring, and of course my boxes of clothes and dishware which was already packed in 9 boxes. These people were crazy if they thought I was going to pay $500/hr and up for my stuff. I even told them my dog and his crate were coming with me. Needless to say, the moving process was an added stress I didn't need. Off my rant, I just happened to come upon Move Me Joe. And like all the other companies I contacted them via their online form, and someone contacted me. I received a call from Wolfgang who told me he couldn't quote me, and this is where I got suspicious, until he came to my place to evaluate. Still unsure and nervous, I agreed. Well, Wolfgang came and looked at the place. After about 15-30 or so, he looked at me and said, "this is an easy job. No hidden fees. No games. Let me tell you how much." I was quoted $99/hr, with an hour added for gas traveled. That was it. I can't tell you how long my mouth stayed open or how long I was staring at the man waiting for a catch. He looked at me and said that was it. I didn't believe and kept trying to pull information from him, hoping he would slip up with extra hidden fees, but he stayed true to his word. I hesitantly set my date and left it at that. Well, a couple weeks later plans changed and I had to cancel. Easy. I called them and told them I didkt need their services anymore. I wasn't charged for the evaluation or anything. Fast forward a month later and plans changed again. This time I was completely ass out. I had to move out my apartment one weekend, and had no one booked. I was now scrambling at the last minute, and we all know how that can be. I went through the process of searching various companies again with no luck. I happen to fall back on Move me Joe. Kim was SUPER at booking me, even last minute! She called to confirm the day before. Wolfgang and his crew came out, and hauled my stuff and even set it up at my new place. They started at 0915 ish and didn't end til about 11ish I think? I literally paid $275 for everything. No BS! I gave the men their tips and thanked them. This company is my Boynton Beach mover's secret. I'm so happy I was able to find them. Oh, and the added bonus? They give you a discount when you pay in cash.

Waited all day and was told that they couldnt move me today,but on September 5th..They were 2 hours late..The owner said "No need to empty underwear drawers, we will bubble wrap it and take it on the truck". When the movers came they told me I had to empty my dresser..I said in a very kind way, "I was told not to bother to empty if just underwear"They came and said "We will not move furniture that is not emptied", with an attitude and they turned around and left..So they screwed me yesterday, and screwed me today..Nasty owner..nasty movers..no consistency..Company has no leader..A must skip...

So I had to stay home from work two days to get that delivered because he didn't show up the first day that he told me that he would even though I told him that I had to get to work by 2 PM. After I unpacked my stuff I realize that they also lost an entire bag of shoes. I called them to let them know that my shoes are missing. They told me they would call me back once they spoke to the driver, I haven't heard a word out of them since. This is absolutely crazy, especially since they overcharged me. I explained that i was moving from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom apartment. I was given an estimate for 2 movers at $100/hour The job would take 4 hours. . I was sent an invoice via email and told that I did not have to pay until movers completed the job. This was more than 2 months previous to my scheduled move date. I spoke and texted with "Jason" at least 15 times previous to my move. Confirmed and reconfirmed several times the size of my current and future apartments. The day before my move, I spoke with Jason again. Everything was good to go. He said the movers would pull up to my place at 7:30am. Day of move: Only 1 mover showed up with a truck entirely way too small at 9am. He said he expected his other mover to show up anytime. He said that I told "Jason" that 1 had a 1 bedroom apartment and was moving to a 1 bedroom apartment. I would never say that. I have never in my life lived in a 1 bedroom apartment. I was clearly upset. He said that I had a one-bedroom apartment and that's what was up on the board. he argued with me about this for about 25 minutes. He threatened to leave and refund my money because he wasn't moving a two-bedroom apartment by himself. I had already paid for and showed him the invoice of two movers at $100 an hour. He didn't want to hear any of this. Finally he calmed down, I calmed down and I had to leave to go to get my keys to my new place. My friend was there to oversee things. By the time I got back from getting my keys, the other movers still had not shown up. So this one mover filled the entire truck with most of my belongings. I asked him why he was not wrapping any of my furniture because Jason said that everything would be wrapped in plastic. He was basically just stacking Furniture and boxes on top of each other with no protection. He explained to me that they only wrapped Furniture when you're going upstairs. Makes zero sense to me since Jason had already told me that everything would be wrapped. When we arrived at my new apartment, he just kept unloading stuff and dropping it wherever he felt like dropping it. Boxes were clearly labeled for the bedroom or kitchen or dining room. I had to keep telling him that this or that box belongs in a different place. He unloaded the truck and said he had to go back for the rest. He left and when he got to my apartment to get the rest of the things, I went back there to see what was left. I told him to make sure that he grabbed all of the boxes in the laundry room, and anything left. I went to my new apartment once again. I spoke with him later on to see how things were going and he said he was waiting to hear from the owner to find out how much they needed to charge me extra because they had to come back and get the rest of my stuff. I paid for two movers at $100 an hour, only one mover showed up and he didn't bring a truck big enough. Yet, they were charging me more money and basically we're not going to bring me my things until I agreed to pay more money. He showed up at my place around 4 pm with 2 more movers who unloaded for dressers and a bed and a few boxes. I asked him if he grabbed absolutely everything including the box that was in the laundry room, a box that had brooms, mops, Etc in it, my vacuum cleaner and other things. He insisted that he did grab those things. He did not. They were still at my apartment. So he lied. At one point when he was packing the truck with the 1st load, I asked his name. He hesitated, and then said his name was Frank. Later on, I asked him again, he said a different name. Shady. so I ended up having to pay an extra $400 when they only had one mover until 4 in the afternoon. after they left, I found all kinds of things that were broken, marked up, ruined etc. all my flower arrangements were ruined. he lied and said that he got everything out of the apartment, I went back and he missed a whole bunch of things. That I had to pack the car up by myself. This is the worst moving experience I've ever had. I will never use these guys again. They ripped me off, lied to me, tried to tell me that I only ordered for a one-bedroom move instead of a two-bedroom when I know what I told them. they were just extremely Shady. I contacted the owner by text message and told him what was going on and he tried to tell me that I actually made out money-wise because if there had been two movers that would have cost me a lot more money. Makes zero sense to me. If there were 2 movers, it would've taken less time. Beware. I don't think all these reviews were done by people that this company actually moved.
