I would not recommend Moveo Performance for physical therapy. This is an anonymous review. A couple years ago, I sustained an ACL injury. Not knowing what had happened, I went to Moveo Performance. Dr. Suarez misdiagnosed the injury, told me I could do therapy there to fix my knee, and failed to recommend that I get any imaging done. For 2 months I was doing physical therapy at Moveo thinking my knee would get better, but nothing improved. Dr. Suarez failed to perform proper assessment and grossly mishandled my care. When I finally did imaging (on recommendation from a family member) the surgeon informed me that surgery would be necessary, and that by delaying my surgery for so long, I could have further damaged surrounding tissue. The entire time Dr. Suarez would've happily continued scheduling me and taking my money. If nobody had informed me to get imaging and go to a qualified doctor, I have no doubt I would've continued to do therapy with a torn ACL at Moveo. I can't speak for the other staff there, but Dr. Suarez is very aware of the business/marketing aspect of physical therapy and put scheduling/profits above individual needs. Whether he is selfish or incompetent I'm not sure. Just be aware that if he can get you in his door he will. As a doctor of physical therapy, he was unable to recognize simple protocol related to knee injuries or provide any useful insight into managing an unknown knee injury. I wouldn't be so bothered by this except for the fact that he had me do therapy for no reason and charged me for it. He also likes to incorporate a lot of gimmicks into his practice to make you think he's really advanced (again he's a great salesperson). read more
