My brother John was born April 20, 1064 and died March 6, 2023. Mom and Dad named him after President Kennedy. He was brilliant, caring, loving, humorous and kind always an amazing teacher. He is deeply missed every day; every holiday by his family and friends. He would be with us today if "neglect in medical after care" had been priority after minor surgery. I am not afraid to put it out there because it is the truth. He suffered and complained to the doctor for 3 months after minor surgery of swelling to the knee and all the doctor would do is tell him heat and ice. Heat feeds an infection. His doctor failed to diagnose the infection until the infection reached his heart causing a heart attack. The doctor excused his death as heart attack resulting from heart problems. My point in posting this is simply if a doctor or surgeon does not listen to your complaints or pain trust your judgement and don't trust him with your life. Neglect of after-care can mean the difference of life or death. I am not fooled. The heart attack was as a result of negligence when medical failed the patient. My brother is missed every day. I love you my brother; my friend.
