Thanks to the treatments I received at Terry Physical Therapy, I feel much better than I have felt in the past two years. The prescribed treatments recommended by the staff at Terry Physical Therapy, the quality of care by the therapists there, and the attention to detail by the staff at all times have all been exceptional, and I am extremely grateful! This is exactly what Mr. Fortino Gonzalez and his awesome team of professionals exemplify everyday and The company motto is the "GOOD KARMA". Good karma is exemplified everyday and all day long. I believe that if you possess good karma in you, you're drawn to people who have same quality. When I met Mr Gonzalez at a Veterans symposium, I felt reassured at his confidence while talking to him. He was a vendor at the event. I took a couple of the pens he handed out. I've long suffered from shoulder and hip problems; steroid shots were exhausted; surgery is out of the question. The pain woke me up at night and was exhausting. Soon I had the opportunity to chose a physical therapist. I remembered the pens and chose McAllen Physical Therapy written on them. I arrived and noticed that the "GOOD KARMA" starts from the front reception area and radiates through all employees. I was apprehensive at first before I went there, but became relaxed by the smiling demeanor and the warm friendly disposition of the staff. At the intake, Mr Gonzalez explained that his method of treatment is nonstandard textbook method. He believes that the analogy of "MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION" is a better approach. If the TRANSMISSION is bad, the MOTOR won't power. He set on activating the dormant muscles that helps the major muscles to work efficiently. So that is the fixing of the TRANSMISSION. Then the MOTOR will be tuned to work better. McAllen Physical Therapy does not promise what can't be achieved. Mr. Gonzalez and his awesome team are in accord with keeping the standards and methods, and he makes sure that they're doing so. This method is called, "POWERING UP WITHOUT POWERING DOWN" in the US Armed Forces leadership. He oversees the accuracy of their work without any micromanagement, and the trainers are confident at their work. The results are incredibly awesome. I can now reach into upper cabinets and walk more than a block without excruciating pain. The MOTOR is not perfect, but is operational. Moreover, I don't have to pop pain killer meds anymore. I owe a heartfelt gratitude to Mr Gonzalez at McAllen Physical Therapy and his team of GOOD KARMA employees.

I've gone to three different therapy offices over the years, and unfortunately, none of them were able to truly help or resolve my pain. My doctor recommended VHH Family, and I'm so grateful they did. From the moment I walked in, the experience was completely different. Sowmiya provided absolutely amazing, phenomenal care. She didn't just focus on my pain she took the time to get to know me as a person. That meant so much to me. For the first time, I didn't feel like just another patient or number. I felt heard, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. Although I'm still in the healing process, I can truly feel the improvement happening in a healthy and effective way. Sowmiya uses techniques that actually make a difference, and she even taught me how to manage my pain at home, which has helped me so much in my daily life. Her assistant, Ariana, is just as incredible. She has some of the best customer service I've ever experienced always kind, attentive, and supportive. The two of them make an amazing team, and you can really see how well they work together to provide the best care possible. At the other therapy offices I've been to, it always felt rushed like "go here, do this, okay you're done." I honestly don't think they even knew who I was. But here, it's completely different. Was told I would have a return call from Billing specialist and it's now been three weeks and five messages left with front desk staff for Billing.. Called the office today they cannot schedule me because I'm still waiting to hear from a billing specialist who doesn't return calls nor follows through when they tell the patient they will call. Unprofessional. Grievance filed with state and insurance on this facility.
