I needed physical therapy because my sciatica pain had gotten to the point where it had become painful for me to even take a few steps without experiencing extreme pain. Thanks to the treatments I received at Terry Physical Therapy, I feel much better than I have felt in the past two years. The prescribed treatments recommended by the staff at Terry Physical Therapy, the quality of care by the therapists there, and the attention to detail by the staff at all times have all been exceptional, and I am extremely grateful! I can walk much better now, I feel much less pain while walking and standing that I can now return to my prior routine of walking daily for my better half. Was told I would have a return call from Billing specialist and it's now been three weeks and five messages left with front desk staff for Billing.. Called the office today they cannot schedule me because I'm still waiting to hear from a billing specialist who doesn't return calls nor follows through when they tell the patient they will call. Unprofessional. Grievance filed with state and insurance on this facility.

I have been recently treated by Frank Garza at Pure Physical Therapy. When I met Frank I had…read moreextreme pain in my lower back, tight hips along with lower sciatic nerve pain. Just after 2 sessions I felt huge shifts physically and energetically. Frank has excellent intuition and insight of where the pain is originating from. He has a big compassionate heart and TRUELY cares about his patients--he gives everyone his undivided attention during their treatments. What I also loved is Frank emailed me photos of the exercises we went over during treatment. If you are more comfortable being treated by a female practitioner Frank's wife Amy is also a PT. She is great, super sweet and very knowledgable. She provided me with massage therapy and gave me some insight on my condition along with some yoga exercises. They both treat you with respect and answer all of your questions. I have no pain and a lot more flexibility due to their knowledge and kindness. Unlike most Physical Therapists I have been to in the past Frank did a lot more work with me both hands on and with the exercises he taught me. Oh and I can't forget to mention how AMAZING the staff is here. They are so friendly..that was the first thing I noticed. The facility is also very clean. Overall, Frank did an Amazing job putting my back together! I was in a lot of pain and now I have Zero pain!! My back feels great and I have more range of motion in my hips and waist. Most importantly, I now feel confident in performing normal every day exercises and my usual workout. Wow thank you Frank and Amy! I would recommend their healing work to all and anyone. Called me October 15, 7days later to tell me they verified my insurance & I was out-of-network but they submitted a request for evalualtion & visits. Asked how long would that take & was told 7 to 10 days!. I had to wait over a month for the doctors appointment & NOW over 2 weeks just to get "possible" APPROVAL/AUTHORIZATION. This is exactly what Mr. Fortino Gonzalez and his awesome team of professionals exemplify everyday and The company motto is the "GOOD KARMA". Good karma is exemplified everyday and all day long. I believe that if you possess good karma in you, you're drawn to people who have same quality. When I met Mr Gonzalez at a Veterans symposium, I felt reassured at his confidence while talking to him. He was a vendor at the event. I took a couple of the pens he handed out. I've long suffered from shoulder and hip problems; steroid shots were exhausted; surgery is out of the question. The pain woke me up at night and was exhausting. Soon I had the opportunity to chose a physical therapist. I remembered the pens and chose McAllen Physical Therapy written on them. I arrived and noticed that the "GOOD KARMA" starts from the front reception area and radiates through all employees. I was apprehensive at first before I went there, but became relaxed by the smiling demeanor and the warm friendly disposition of the staff. At the intake, Mr Gonzalez explained that his method of treatment is nonstandard textbook method. He believes that the analogy of "MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION" is a better approach. If the TRANSMISSION is bad, the MOTOR won't power. He set on activating the dormant muscles that helps the major muscles to work efficiently. So that is the fixing of the TRANSMISSION. Then the MOTOR will be tuned to work better. McAllen Physical Therapy does not promise what can't be achieved. Mr. Gonzalez and his awesome team are in accord with keeping the standards and methods, and he makes sure that they're doing so. This method is called, "POWERING UP WITHOUT POWERING DOWN" in the US Armed Forces leadership. He oversees the accuracy of their work without any micromanagement, and the trainers are confident at their work. The results are incredibly awesome. I can now reach into upper cabinets and walk more than a block without excruciating pain. The MOTOR is not perfect, but is operational. Moreover, I don't have to pop pain killer meds anymore. I owe a heartfelt gratitude to Mr Gonzalez at McAllen Physical Therapy and his team of GOOD KARMA employees.

Most SLPs and OTs are assistants and few clinics have actual pathologist that are drunk with power and the business owner's need their signatures to collect and bill for services. The SLP at the Mission office showed her true colors when she refused to patent train me on an AAC device software program because she was uncomfortable working with me. Her feelings were more important that the client's needs which was my son. All of this started when I complained to his insurance about them not providing me documentation, a report and changed and shorten his approved therapies. I was merely advocating for my son. Total Rehab Kids has 5 clinics and they're making a lot of $$$ wish they were equally caring about their clients. We're all a number to them on a conveyor belt. Shame on their business ethics and selling their souls for profit. Cest la vie! Patient abandonment and lack of continuation of services.
