Wonderful instructors who are creative with the workouts, fully engaged with the participants and work us all really hard but in a great way. They really know their stuff. Customer service is friendly, low-key and responsive. And loads of parking and a place for coffee nearby. Space was immaculately clean, modern/sleek look. Lori has 6 Reformer boards so the class even when fullI imagine is still personal. Intro class was a half hour to get one used to the feel of the board, as well as using it without damaging yourself or the equipment. It was surprisingly different and FUN. TOUGH, YES absolutely but it also didn't feel like I was there for 30 minutes. I'm anticipating tomorrow hating myself for it, but not before I committed to a 6 week package to make sure it is right for me. DEFINITELY low impact but a very good/challenging workout too!!!!!

She bent over backwards to accommodate my needs and schedule. Prompt response even late at night to walk me through the system to book my next session. Friendly ladies in the small class and very clean facility. Can't say enough ... so glad I found her. Oh and parking in back! I don't usually enjoy working out but the time flies. The studio just got a new makeover with updated flooring and paint and is a calm soothing space in a small storefront across from the beach on Ventnor ave. They also offer Pilates, barre and aerial yoga but I've only done the heated hot yoga. The room gets quite warm but not as hot as some other studios I have been to in my travels (Which is a good thing). If you're looking for a therapeutic healing form of yoga that's physically demanding and spiritually rewarding, Mary Ann's studio is the oasis you're looking for- I highly recommend this place.

We have always worked out at this location anytime we visited the Island, and for the past few…read moreyears we saw a slow decline in the appearance of the facility. Last year we decided to train in AC due to the cleanliness of the gym, but the commute was an issue so when we discovered this location was under new ownership this year and we decided to give it a try. To our surprise, they did a great job cleaning up the place and rearranging the equipment. Not only was it cleaner, it was so much easier to navigate the weight room. They still need to update the locker rooms, fix the turf on the roof top and patch the drywall, but they are moving in the right direction. I could tell the new owners actually cared about the condition of the facility and took pride in the what they were doing. The equipment is more than satisfactory, but there are simple upgrades like new stretching mats that would make a huge difference. I look forward to returning next year to see what additional changes they make over the off-season.
