Climate control works and I never feel unsafe going here even at night knowing that I'm on camera and everything is gated. They have several different size units from ones you can fit RVs inside to the small ones with offices where you can run your small business they also have climate controlled and not climate controlled to meet your needs when I found them. They were the best price in the area and I randomly check to make sure that I'm not missing a deal somewhere else and they still continue to beat everyone in the area.

I thought that was odd and called multiple times - it was very hard to get ahold of someone and when I finally did, I was told a manager would be in touch and they never called. I got tired of calling and decided to eat the cost. Today, September 30th, I received ANOTHER email that my unit price had now gone up to $235 per month. I called and was essentially told I could move to a smaller unit but the price wouldn't change. I've had this unit less than 1 year and I'm so disappointed with the lack of customer service and the predatory pricing tactics. ---- October 1, 2025 Update --- Although I still stand by my previous sentiment, I'd like to add an update that Erin is SO HELPFUL!! Been renting the unit for a year or two. 10'x10' unit started off paying around $80 including insurance they require. About two years later, they raised the fee twice and I'm now paying $135/mo. The first raise, they said they were making updates to units. They added new locks to the doors for added security. From office staff was nice when I did interact with them. Not a bad place to rent from, just not happy about how much the monthly cost increased. Moving my stuff to a storage place closer to my house and cheaper, although I'm sure the new place will raise their fees as well.

A friend recommended I try Morningstar Storage, so I decided to give them a chance. When I got there I was welcomed by Ashanti, who poor thing was about to take her lunch! Had I not been in such a hurry I would have come back at a later time, but I truly needed to unload my car! She was so gracious about the inconvenience, and took real good care of me! Showed me a few options for different sizes so I could the right one! Walked me through the rates that happened to be great as they currently have specials on all of their units! She got me all signed up, and out the door in record time! I even offered to get her her lunch for cutting into her lunch time and even though she declined I appreciate how efficient she was! I highly recommend, this storage facility, they are climate controlled and offer insurance! Keep in mind you do need to pay for admin fess and potentially a lock, so don't get sticker shocked on your first months rent! It should be a one time thing so don't worry! You have 24/7 access as they provide gate codes for you! Go pay Ashanti a visit and get yourself a nice clean storage unit!

The storage facility manager cut the lock on my unit to allow someone to "deliver" [something?] to it without calling me and asking first. Explicitly in breach of their own contract. After realizing that the contents of my unit didn't seem in line with what was being delivered, they checked the guys paperwork and realized it was the wrong unit. Maybe. They gave me new locks, but seem to completely miss the fact that 1. Per their own contract, they are not permitted to access the unit for reasons like this. 2. It's not acceptable to cut someone's unit open because some random delivery person says they need to put something in it.

Sure, the move in price was great, that rate increases. I then transferred to a smaller unit to save some money, and that has increased twice. I guess I would say it's fine for short term but really sucks for long term.
