I've been working with Taya for the last couple of months, and I'm pleased to say that this has…read morebeen such a pleasant experience for me. I didn't know exactly what I would be getting myself into, I had already been doing a lot of inner work on myself and had dramatically changed my diet before talking to Taya but I felt like I still felt like I was missing something... turns out that something was Taya! She has BLOWN MY MIND with all the information she's shared with me. Also, in the past I would have been intimidated to sign up for something like this out of fear of being judged but Taya is such a kind and easy person to work with, she's never made me feel uncomfortable or bad about anything. I could go on and on about how awesome she is but at this point, I think anyone reading this should just find out for themselves how great she is. If you're ready for a fun experience and life changing knowledge, don't wait any longer- just do it!

Having completed the 12-week fitness and wellness introductory course with Taya (people, it's…read morepronounced Tay-uh, not Tie-uh) I'm surprised with my results and I'd do it again in an instant.  In fact, I'll be a return client in the future.  It wasn't what I expected, but don't let that persuade you into not trying.  Initially, I wanted to lose weight... That was it.  My goal with her was 30 pounds in the 12 weeks.  An aggressive goal, but for me was reasonable.   Some quick advice:  Heading into this, I did research, interviewed other coaches, and outlined a clear idea of what I expected.  I communicated that with Taya prior to starting, and she provided her expectations and outlined her course with me so I'd know what to expect from her.   The first few weeks were informative, and goal formative and oriented.  We did some "soul-searching" to find out exactly what my mindset and will power were prepared for. From there, we branched out into some of life's basic fundamentals and foundations for myself, to focus our energy on staying the course, and continuing towards my goal.  Along the way, she posed challenges requiring me to spend time weekly developing good habits and fundamentals for going forward each week, and not just with fitness and nutrition, but with emotional and character development.  (NOTE: you get out of this based on the effort you put into it, just like life. If you're looking for her to fix your issues, at least discuss that with her prior, but my experience was she provides the foundations and support, and I provided the necessary effort. If you're looking for a counselor or parent figure, probably not the program you really need.) I was surprised how quickly the 12 weeks went, and looking back I'm proud of myself and my rapid results. In the end, I'm down 17 pounds overall.  However, doing BMI calculations, I also found I'm down 4.6% body fat, I've gained 18 pounds of lean muscle, I'm using holes on belts I've never used in 3-4 years, my jeans fall off without a belt, I've lost several inches around my mid-section, and I've seen noticeable losses in my face, neck, arms, legs.... you get the idea.  By my calculations, If  I had not gained one pound of muscle, I would be down 35 pounds  over the 12 weeks.  Now, obviously results will vary, and I was motivated and followed her workout and diet recommendations closely, but I'm completely happy with my progress so far, and the habits we've developed I will continue to build on going forward.   If it's confidence you want, she's your lady.  If it's getting healthy, losing weight, a mindset change for fitness or wellness, nutrition facts, introspective help with yourself, or any number of similar issues, your time will be rewarded by working with Taya!  Additionally, she's REAL... what that means is, she's not a slave driver, but on the other hand, she's not gonna coddle you and tell you you're doing fine when you aren't.  Your investment will be rewarded with someone who's invested in you as long as YOU stay invested in YOURSELF.   Side note for the GUYS:  She's beautiful, right?  She smiles at you, she speaks like a lady, and she's polite.  Mind your manners and don't assume ANYTHING!  She's intelligent and doesn't want your "swerve" or your attitude.  She's REAL.  Be the same, and treat the experience with the same effort she does and you'll be rewarded with the experience!   I needed Taya's perspective, ideas, accountability, and effort with my process, and you won't be disappointed.   Best of luck, Ryan C.

What was frustrating to me is that some of the advice I received was useful and some of it was baloney! The first appointment was spent with the provider talking on and on and making generic recommendations, we didn't even go through my medical history! Then a few red flags popped up (recommended expensive, $300+, not covered by insurance DUTCH testing for "estrogen dominance" and other distractions to waste your money), and a real push for me to start seeing an ND even though I didn't want to. I'm just glad I checked with my gynecologist about the usefulness of the test (it's not useful) before wasting my money! I did find the staff to be kind and personable, hence the two stars instead of one. They may be helpful if you are looking to incorporate more veggies in your diet, but not for any management of actual medical conditions.

I thought a nutritionist would lecture me on not eating enough vegetables and make me feel guilty for eating a doughnut occasionally; boy was I wrong! They don't just choose a diet and tell you it's what you need to do! So happy that they are my partner in creating the best version of myself.

This is a long overdue review for Teresa. In short, yes, absolutely, if you're feeling burned out,…read moreconfused, and unhappy about your job, please talk to her! I found Theresa randomly from an event on Yelp and I am glad I did. Last year, I paid around $800 for her Career Fulfillment Program with the Career Clarity Course. It looks like she has since revamped this program and doubled the price and added more coaching sessions--probably due to inflation and the current job market--but I would still recommend her services hands down with no reservation. For comparison, I had ran into a random internet career/life coach on social media a few months prior and that coach wanted to charge me $10,000 to help me find a new career in a completely different industry, supposedly without having to sacrifice pay. That felt unrealistic and scammy. Compared to scammy social media coach, Teresa's prices are reasonable and a great value and her program delivers results. Personally, I did not need help from Teresa with resume writing or interviewing. I was just feeling confused about whether my current career path was right for me and needed direction. I was considering a career change and was ready to throw away the career I had worked on for the past 8 years because I was so unhappy at my job. I felt so lost. Teresa's Career Clarity Course helped me do some soul searching and gave me areas to look into to figure out where my strengths, passions, and job priorities were. Finishing her course gave me a sense of direction and confidence for the next steps to take to find a fulfilling career. During the course, I was exploring new careers such as food vlogger/Youtuber, an entrepreneur owning a boba shop, or maybe go back to school to become a psychologist. Teresa gave me advice on how to research what these careers would look like or how to try them out without throwing away my current career and taking too long to figure it out. At the end, I realized I loved making money too much. While I believed I would succeed in a new career, it would take too much time to completely start over, so I was going to stay in my current field in tech. However, getting the idea from the personality test she had me take, I was able to do some research on Reddit and found a more niche role in my industry that was more suited for people with my exact personality type. I felt excited to try out this new role, because at least 3 others with my personality type, reported in Reddit forums that they loved it, so it gave me hope. The program was only supposed to last 3 months but as I was doing the program, my mental health got progressively worse from burn out at the dead end job. I eventually had to quit because I was so unwell and couldn't work anymore even after taking medical leave. Teresa graciously extended my program access for another 2 months free of charge and she and I met for one final coaching session where she gave me advice on how I could sell my translatable skills to pivot into this new role. Pivoting into a new but related role was a difficult task given the recent competitive job market and I got rejected a bunch of times at various stages, but I was on a mission to make sure I did not end up in a similar role as my last job and insisted on it after completing Teresa's program. It took 4 months for me to recover mentally and to find my current job but I am pleased to say I ended up at an excellent company with the exact role I was going for after some patience, perseverance, and luck. I've been at this new job for over a month now and I am very happy and I actually wake up looking forward to work! This rarely happened in the last 8 years. In addition to finding out a career direction, I also found out from the program that one of my passions was "creating and sharing experiences together". I have since used that discovery to encourage myself to start various social groups centered around my hobbies and have made new friends from it. I shared a story about creating experiences during my job interview and it played a part in my getting hired because the joy from following my passions really showed. I demonstrated the best parts of my personality and it just so happened to align with the company's cultural values. Teresa's program is life changing and it improved my life both personally and professionally. I am amazed at how insightful and intuitive she is. I really think she's found her tailor-made career for herself because career coaching is what she's meant to do. I am sure Teresa can help you, too!
