Coaching with Kathy Clayton has had such an invaluable and beautiful impact on my life. I reached out last spring, when I had hit a mental low, and knew things needed to change. I look back at the person I was then, and I don't even recognize her. Being vulnerable enough to change is extremely uncomfortable for me, but Kathy met me where I was at with such compassion. She has an unbelievable ability to educate, question, and motivate with both comfort and firmness. Kathy is extremely intelligent and brings the energy and insight that is needed for all kinds of situations. (I love her creativity and sense of humor too.) Because of our work together, I can now face life's challenges more more self awareness and courage than I ever thought possible. Thank you, Kathy. read more

I have spent many years doing personal growth work, with several amazing teachers and using strong actions/practices. I have known Kathy for several years and understood her deep commitment to her clients and the process she uses in her coaching. I began Kathy's coaching process with a simple goal to figure out what I wanted to do when I "grow up". I do not have a definitive answer to this question but what I gained is more valuable than any quick response would be. Through the process, Kathy helped me to understand more fully who I am in relation to the world in general and to the world of work in particular. She helped me to hone in on areas where I could support myself more fully, allow my skills and joys to bloom and grow, and she also helped me uncover areas where I was not helping myself. On of the aspects I enjoyed, and appreciated, most about Kathy's work is the practical tools I have gained to live more completely and more authentically in the every day world, while integrating all aspects of my spiritual path. I would recommend Kathy's coaching to anyone who wants to know themselves more fully, to grow in ways that support the deepest part of their being and gain a road map for more authentic success. read more

I started working with Kathy after a recommendation from a good friend and because while, my life had many of the accomplishments people strive for and I was proud of and grateful for my situation, there was an inner desire for more. I wanted to equip myself with a foundation of self-understand and knowledge that would supply me with the tools to make the necessary changes I was anxious for. My knowledge of the process was its foundation lay in factual understand of one's self and, with that, provides the tools to see through the clutter to find what's meaningful. This was all true in my experience in working with Kathy and I feel confident that I'm moving forward in a direction that comes for an inner knowing of what's right for me. read more

I can certainly relate to many of the other reviews here. I had the privilege to work with Kathy as my coach in the past a few months, and she had a great impact on me. At the time when I signed up for the coaching sessions with her, I was at plateau in my career and life. I remembered that I was a little skeptical in the beginning but I just wanted to give a try. The result is beyond my expectation. Kathy is very compassionate and knowledgeable. The coaching sessions helped me evaluate myself, reflect on my past and build the awareness and right mindsets for me to handle the puzzles I faced at work and life, which is tremendously valuable. It's definitely great personal growth for me and I learned many things I wasn't able to learn in other environments (school/college, home or office). I want to say a big THANK YOU to Kathy! And I would highly recommend Kathy's coaching services to anyone who needs guidance in personal, life and career growth. read more

I came to Kathy rather urgently for professional advice. She responded very quickly and within the time of a complimentary meeting with her, I signed up for a full coaching intensive and had the laser-focused advice I needed to make a major decision in my professional life. Since then, each concise coaching session has provided transformative concepts. They have created a dramatically increased awareness in my self, and in my relationships. The positive results from the coaching that Kathy produces are exponential. As I approached my 40th birthday, I sought to take further control of my life from a personal and professional perspective via life coaching. Kathy had rave reviews on both Yelp and from a former colleague. Applying her knowledge of the Enneagram (and its variety of personality types) and facilitating a thought-provoking questionnaire, she generated an insanely comprehensive and robust report that outlined my natural strengths and motivators (not to mention de-motivators). I learned quite a bit about myself, while coming to terms with what I already knew! Her guidance and her support certainly helped me want to start the next chapter of my life as soon as possible. She's thoughtful, honest and authentic. She's not afraid to share her experiences to help you come to grips with your own. I absolutely enjoyed working with her and would recommend her to anyone who is serious about benefiting from her brand of life coaching. read more

Kathy Clayton is a truly joyful, warm, and friendly human being. She is fun to work with, very straight forward, with a clear communication style. When I signed on for coaching, I gave Kathy a laundry list of goals and changes I wanted to make to my life. In our coaching sessions, Kathy gave me tools and information to address these goals and changes, and so much more. She helped me find an overarching purpose that ties them all together. In the time we worked together, I gained greater self-awareness, insight into my motivations, and an understanding of where I am in the process. Since working with her two years ago, I find myself coming back to her wisdom again and again. It has been an experience that has stuck with me and guides me to this day. Kathy has also gone above and beyond to include me in networking events to grow my business and is just a great person to know. I highly recommend her coaching services to anyone who feels stuck, or unsatisfied with their progress. read more

It took me a while to write a review for Kathy. I think that it's taken me a long time to come to a point where I've come to terms where I've understood and processed everything. I would say that my relationship with Kathy has meant a lot more to me than my relationships with a lot of other people. It had felt like every relationship in my life was brief and transient. I had been looking for help with this for a long time, and in a lot of different places. When I found her website, something stood out to me and I emailed her, but I wasn't sure. Her toolkit seemed odd to me, especially since I work in research and science. But I decided to try it. She was amazing. She has an almost superhuman intuition and empathy. There were some things she said to me, that I understood months after we finished. The thing was she was telling me something about myself I didn't understand yet and it took me that long to realize. read more

I moved to Seattle with an intention to work on myself and find the right new career direction, among other reasons. I originally attempted to do this independently (reading self-help, career books/articles and listening to input from well-intention-ed friends) to no avail. I only succeeded in increasing my anxiety and inducing a new level of panic attacks while pursuing any job lead thrown at me. I was surprised by this; I am usually the one helping everyone else, and then couldn't help myself?! I have the utmost respect for how Kathy runs her program. I do not do well with overly spiritual or "hokey" approaches as I believe myself to be a realist. I didn't feel put off by Kathy's approach in the least; the information has felt accurate and eye opening. Through my time with her, I now have a better understanding of myself, the direction I was searching for, and the tools to help me live my life in a more conscious way. Kathy presents in a clear, compassionate, organized, reality based approach. This experience has improved the quality of my personal and professional life. read more

My coaching experience with Kathy has been challenging, fun, insightful, compassionate and extremely rewarding. Her ability to make sense of my rambling as I was getting everything in my head out of my mouth, exemplifies her listening skills. She then followed this up with additional perspectives and insight that added clarity and understanding of how some of my habitual behavior conflicted with my beliefs. With increased understanding of myself came courage to peruse my desires without getting permission from anyone but me. I trust myself and my decision more now than at any other time in my life. Since my work with Kathy, I am reminded often of the growth I have experiences. I sometimes stop suddenly and realize how different I am reacting or handling a situation or decision. Then I call Kathy to thank her yet again for her contribution to my personal growth. Although it is sometimes easy to fall back into old behaviors, it has become harder and harder to stay there for any length of time. The rewards of this work continue to add value to my life. I have learned to draw healthier boundaries; I have increased my ability to move out of conditioned judgments and into observation of myself and others; I let go of the belief that I'm suppose to fix everything for everyone; and so much more! I experience so much more peace in my life. It has been about a year since I graduated from Kathy Clayton Coaching with my Masters Degree in Me. I have expanded my education and business into an area that I have been contemplating about for years. Life is good and it just keeps getting better and better. I feel so blessed to have worked with Kathy. She is a skilled and beautiful person indeed. Jean Schneider www.MindfulMoneyManagement.com read more

Kathy as helped me really focus on what works and what doesn't work in my life. She is objective, practical, nonjudgmental, and worth every single penny. Every time I meet with her I think, "We did a LOT of work!" Life is getting more fun, more clear, and I am living with more passion because of my work with Kathy. Kathy is a very intelligent and compassionate guide. I am a fairly successful guy, but felt very disconnected from my life. There were many life strategies in place that really were not working for me (avoiding conflict, devaluing my own opinions, lack of confidence in my decision making, feeling disconnected from my life, overly critical of myself and totally in my head). OMG - I'm a 9! Kathy helped me understand how my brain is "wired" to respond to people, situations, my work and myself. This knowledge is PRICELESS. I no longer spend time and energy trying to fix myself - but with this deep understanding, I can call on my other personality traits to counterbalance and overcome my 9 tendencies. After one series of sessions - I have found my inner superpowers of compassion, confidence, sensitivity, and intuitive intelligence. Connecting and understanding myself has deepened my experiences in life and my relationships. I am so GRATEFUL for Kathy and the work she does. I can finally be the "me" I have always wanted. read more
