Kat Allen is as good as it gets for intelligent, thoughtful, experienced, and balanced feedback and processes. She is clear, tempered in her thoughts, and so insightful, she has already made a big difference in my life. Cheers to being a real pro in your business of treating people with respect and overwhelming insights!!!! I can't recommend her enough. Excited to join her in one of her upcoming retreats.

The center that Kat has built is professional but very personal and warm. It invites quiet, open, discussion and revelation. The practice benefits from the environment of the building and the neighborhood. Kat's guidance and wisdom and her quiet calm approach, benefitting both mind and body, is the reason that I am writing. Kat has the life experience to understand and help uncover layers of the daily struggle we all encounter, the depth to understand and guide through personal and family of origin explorations, personal history, and the breadth to help individuals, couples, and families. She does not judge, she guides, sometimes simply listening, often reflecting. Her repertoire includes deep personal investigation and teaching experience in yoga, meditation and mindfulness, and spiritual exploration as well as traditional counseling and therapy. Kat is incredibly knowledgeable about the standard experts in psychology and therapy wile also offering a broad approach and the ability to reach for the seasoned experiences of meditative and spiritual masters. The Four Aims Center is a unique environment to unfold personal questions and explorations in a peaceful and trusting setting. If you are exploring yourself and your life and looking for guidance I highly recommend you have a conversation with Kat Allen.

After 5 to 6 months seeing Frewin I got some feet under me. 3 things have been especially symbolic. Manny the dog's office presence and Frewin's availability for walking sessions are two great signs of comfort. And when I started to feel better, wanting to "end" our scheduled sessions, Frewin's openness to finding an end point goal for a therapy regime was a genuine sign that he truly cares about personal growth. In unexpected ways I hope I won't see him again, and I also hope I will. No matter if our paths cross again, our conversations will always replay well in the future when I look back on a tender period of my life that Frewin Hermer gracefully helped me navigate. -Mike Leavitt, Vashon, WA

I was worried that going to therapy would be a lonely process due to past experiences of feeling like I am the human with all the problems and my therapist is someone who is perfect and cant relate. With Frewin, however, you really feel like you are talking with someone who understands the challenges and the aches and pains of life. That deep empathy has really been transforming for me and I recommend Frewin for anyone looking to find help and support through their emotional challenges.

Linda Anderson is a therapist who has a small office she has held at this location for a long time…read more I have been seeing her for almost 2 months now and have to say she is really wonderful. She takes the first couple sessions to establish your history and reasons for coming to her office. She is gentle, but direct and doesn't overwhelm you. I appreciated this as rehashing bad history can be very difficult. She has worked well with me to establish goals and begin to understand things I had been very confused by. I also appreciate her flexibility in scheduling. Her rates are also very reasonable. Another thing is her office is very homey. They even have tea and drinks you can prepare before your session. It helps you feel at home. I have often found therapist offices to be very sterile, but you will not find this here. I encourage you if you need someone to help you work through anxiety or other problems to give Linda Anderson a try!

The role of the therapist is to act as a guide, using professional objectivity, knowledge of human psychology and work experience to help clients find answers to problems or paths to more satisfactory lives through their own strengths and getting new ideas and perspectives.
